  1. Best moc of a magnaguard so far! I like the highly movable joints, makes me think of what the official ones lacked (Though better than Girevous ). You can tear them limb from limb and still have them fighting. The only thing that nags at me is the markeered head. You might want to use a Kam decal and/or use a mmbc cape? Or would you prefer to be independent?
  2. I received the very large piece triangle-shaped on the Death Star UCS (that and its reflection piece) which touches the top dish.
  3. I also liked the vastness, but there wasn't much playability in it for me. I also agree on the opening. Yes, but the one on the box I think is identical to the clone helmet. Definitely not final, as the helmet is much different than the clones'.
  4. The interior pic of the Venator is that tiny box inset in the Venator box. Impossibly tiny with low resolution (But high for a prelim pic), we can still see how this opens up and how loaded up she is.
  5. They do. Some vehicles were "traded" with other fleets, along with supplies, which gives teh presence of the symbol to be all over the place. I don't think that Lego gave us #BDs and a pilot BD. I think the pilot was shown twice in the pic, also it would make an uneven guard count to have 3. Yup! I saw the closer images. There are only 3 BDs, with 1 as a pilot! I can also see that almost certainly Gunray has a printyed head. Anyone notice that the R2 in the Y-wing is the old type? So far I can see that the Senate commandos have the same helmet as the clones, But I'm sure it's temporary as new moulds will be cast. From the small Venator interior pic, I think it is quite packed. No empty vastness like the ISD, it seems
  6. I also noticed a mistake. This is present only in the box and one official pic, but not the instructions and another official pic. The stickers on the wings are supposed to be put oppositely, so that the sharp edge touches teh edge of the brick. I myself made this mistake and had to peel each one and re-place them.Nanna's review pic for the first image (correct):
  7. Definitely lot launchers for the turrets, but plenty of missiles in the pic, not sure where they fire from. Rather a relief, though, as it is more accurate. If I remember correctly, the Home One is actually cheaper than the Venator, which means it might be much smaller than the Venator, as I think the piececount for the Mon Cal would be higher, since it uses more bricks rather than plates, judging by the shape in real life and mocs. Yep, they are under the command of both Kenobi and Skywalker, though there were also prominent members such as Sassee Tiin in it. each arm represents the other and how they work as a unified force. And the five stripes near the end means it is part of the Fifth Fleet of the Open Circle Armada, but I guess you could remove some so it could be Third Fleet, for example, as was done with the latest version of X-wing (Red 3 and Five) He is the DS trooper, the same as the one in the Death Star set. Darth Legolas, you actually can see some Venators in the beginning scene of Ep.III which don't have the logo.(Most likely a mistake) Originally, it was supposed to be a generic Republic symbol, as evident by the logo on At-APs and in the Sep. bunker, but later rectonned that it was specific to a fleet so that there would be continuity.
  8. Your pic has been deleted , but I'll go with a DS powner anyway.
  9. Same here. I've seen plenty of World Trade Centre mocs, and even one that had it in the middle of collapsing with smoke and all. I wasn't offended, but I felt very uncomfortable.
  10. Ha! Now, you should say. The Dooku fig sold for over 30 dollars yesterday on eBay.
  11. Apparently the heavy turbolaser turrets on the Venator are not flickfire, as presumed by some. It looks similar to teh turrets on the ISD minifig-sclae, that moves up/down and left/right, but I'm nearly certain the barrels are the guns from the Agents theme. I also believe that Palpatine will not have the traditional cape, but a plastic mmould for the shoulders, like the magnaguard. And the Senate commando rifles are regular rifles . I can definitely see the clone gunner, but I don't think that the other clone is a pilot. It sure looks lik a regular clonie to me.
  12. I figured out another way to store the electrostaffs. Instead of stuffing them in the back as I mentioned before, you can place them upright at the back. It also looks better than having a gaping hole where the door is, and keeps your accessories from falling out. The measurements also fit perfectly.
  13. Ah! I assume you have the 2005 blue one rather than the much better 2009 one.
  14. Of the Moc versions of the Punworrca-116, I believe it's called, not 24, this is my favourite. Yours also has the most features. I would prefer it in plain blue. Do the main wings flap? It seems every Sep vehicle is becoming "Separatised" (Blue, not borwn). I challenge you to do the same with the MTT! (Quite a challenge, you have there )
  15. I'll go first. I bought the first sets which came out in dark bley/light bley/reddish brown back in 2003 (I think), but honestly, I did not notice it until teh next year, I think, with the Sandcrawler. Here I was, happily modding my new set Sandcrawler, when I noticed that the old colour pieces did not match the new ones in the set. At first I dismissed it as an illusion of some sort, or possibly a defect on the old part, but never bothered to compare that to other old parts. The reality set in when I read an article about the colour change. I "slightly" panicked, and all of my new sets I compared to the old one. And they were different in colour. I was very upset with this change. I had a hard time distinguishing between the 2 at first, but evntually became used to differentiating between the 2. I didn't know why TLC would do this, though. They had done this would any notice! I was in almost a state of denial until I reached a point where I had more sets in new colours than old. I now accepted this change, and even still like the new colours much better, (I like bluer shades). Still, I wouldn't have wanted to changem if I had the choice. Now for your stories.
  16. I didn't know they still produced old colours? cWhere are they now and why aren't they in sets? And as for the display, I just get big dark bley coloured shelves and make them face the viewer, how boring, without any stands, but theme-specific.
  17. This is from Empire at War 2, which is terrible at scaling. Home One should be slightly longer than the 2 ISD lengths. (In Empire at War 1, it actually was the size of just one ISD).
  18. Excellent moc I love the lava river, how you did a "flat" version rather than the usual fire type.. I bet the clone can just jump onto the droid below him.
  19. Some models actually have battle droids piloting the tank, especially during the Clone Wars, so there's a chance. In real life, it should be 3 times the size of a Venator. I would be si happy if LEgo did a UCS minifig ship that was huge. But lego is more interested in detail at that scale. Check this MOC of someone out: Mon Cal moc I can already see how this set's going to end up..
  20. Well, he decides to drop by and poke Captain Falcon you-know-where.
  21. Ho! Quite a beauty. Nice to see another original rather than the oversued red. Not a fan of Corrna, but I love yours. You might actually want to add a few pieces of light grey. Using only 2 colours makes it look too unlike the original, in my opinon.
  22. I'm sure they will NEVER make another AT-TE. As many of us have said, I'm looking for minifig -scale capital ships. I'm nearly drooling over abanking clan ship so it can be fitted against a fleet of Venators. (I know the Homeone is coming out and it can go against the ISD).
  23. This is extremely impressive. I don't think they have the Mcdonalds promos in there? (No, not those rubber fake ones, but those real lego part ones). And I've never heard of those white masks before.
  24. That seems to be quite inaccurate, unfortunately. For example, the Emperor is in 4 sets, not 3. The final duel, Imperial inspection, imperial shuttle, and Death Star.
