I really like this! You should make those rock pieces a bit better with more random brick placement and less reliance on BURPs. Also, make a pipe at the other side of the damn with the water coming out.

What a great MOC. I think that it would look better with a more fortified wall. I think this is the best shot in the series you listed:

I had never heard of Galidor before this poll. I just checked out the Brickset page. I honestly think that you can't call that LEGO. Time twisters was the worst.
-
YES!!! I loved that from the moment I first saw it.

I think that some of these were shown on the Brothers Brick some time back. These two are my favorites.

I am really excited to see more pictures of the tavern, that looks like the best building in there!

I think that it is too tall. It would be too easily knocked over from the side. Widen the base and give it bigger wheels. I like your color scheme but it needs to flow continuously from one side of the MOC to the other. Right now it looks choppy. I would never have guessed it would hold so many figures, that's a good touch.

Why don't you just use smaller batteries, like those for hearing aids or wristwatches, so that they can be hidden in small cars as well?

At first I thought I would not like Exo-Force, but it grew on me. I really like your collection and it gives me a great appreciation for the theme. Thanks!

Thanks! I'll head over there soon.

I just tried to access it and the link is broken. Will one of you attach a scan of the coupon so I can use that? Thanks, and great find!

Buying two. Saving one MISB. -
Haha peg-leg is screwed. Great use of those Star Wars Gamorrean Guard figs. Also like the snakes as blood.

I thought the parade was the best part too!
-
I love the minifigs. I really like the way Johnny Thunder looks with his Indy-saddle bag. The set looks great too, kudos!

I am signed up for the RSS feed from the LEGO blog Brick Town Talk. They had a superb tabletown highlighted today. Here are a few pictures. Gallery

Jungle Adventure WIP
WarnIcarus replied to WesternOutlaw's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
You need more underbrush! The green plates look too regular and don't give off the overgrown feel of a jungle. If you do take to using more plant life in this diorama, I would recommend replacing the trees that look too manicured to be wild: These make great examples of Spanish moss I love the crashed plane in the tree. It reminds me of LOST. The crashed car needs too look more beaten and overgrown I just found this dio on Brickshelf. I think the builder masters the jungle brilliantly. http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=191333 -
I like the size! It looks like the rest of the city grew up around it! I'm not fond of the bats or the brown windows. Try to add some decoration that stays within the gray color scheme. I think that the triangular roofing tiles near the bats don't work either, but I don't have anything to suggest to replace those pieces. Is their anything notable in the interior? What about the back?

I couldn't see too much detail in the pictures because of the glare and shakiness. Steady your camera on the ground, a tripod or anything else and then take the picture. Also, take several pictures of a single feature from many angles and then pick the best. This will ensure that we see the highest quality picture available. I think that your new and improved motorcyclist looks much better than the one included in the set!

After almost one year sorting bricks...
WarnIcarus replied to Bonaparte's topic in General LEGO Discussion
How much did all of those boxes cost you? I just sorted 1/4 my bricks and I can already see the difference when I build. I only need the right boxes. -
I love Amsterdam, what a beautiful city. The SNOT techniques used on the roofs are very impressive. I wish you would have given us a more detailed tour of the street, and show us what's going on there!

4 or 6 stud wide cars, which do you prefer ???
WarnIcarus replied to Brick Miner's topic in LEGO Town
I couldn't agree with you more Hinckley. I really dislike it when I see a set with a one minifig-wide car. Almost as much as I dislike some of the puny helicopters they try to sell... Bad Helicopter Design: Awesome Helicopter Design: -
At least enclose the pilot! Other than that, I think it looks great. I like your color scheme much more than the old.
