It is probably due to air getting into the plastic when it was being moulded. I can post a pic of an air-filled Lightsaber blade for comparison if you want.

Thet sounds like scratches, if you can feel them. I have some windows that have scratches on them, and it is similar to what you are describing.

And in the wrong color! I used grey only because I didn't have the right pieces in tan. (I don't think that those slopes are even made in tan.) But grey is closer to tan than black is.

Oh, BTW, @SilviaShado, the red box in the deli is a device that despenses numbered tickets (the white 1x1 tile) for those waiting in line. It's a Euro thing; I haven't seen one in America.

We'll be detected. The closer we get, the more likely it is the Geonosians will see us and sure up their defenses." Obi-Wan: "We have no choice. Walking ten Kilometers in this storm would be lethal." Strykr: "We'll do what we have to, then. I'll report back later." *End Transmission* Pilot 1: "We're under atrack!" Pilot 2: "Shields up at full power. We're going in" Strykr: "Brace yourselves! Prepare to deploy as soon as we reach the surface." Pilot 1: "The flack's too thick; I don't know if we can make it through!" Strykr: "Just get as close as you can. We can handle things from there." The base was built only to recreate the scene. The real build is the Bloodfin.

After seeing that others have built multiple entries for the CB, I decided to build a second entry. Note: It nearly took me longer to figure out how to mount the Bloodfin to the base than it took me to build it (the Bloodfin). Well, I don't have that exact piece (with print), but I do have non-printed versions of the piece and I have never seen bubbles. That being said, my Lightsaber blade and trans-colored crystal pieces will sometimes have bubbles in them, so I guess that it is possible. Could you post a pic, by any chance?

What is it that you want to build? Some things can be interpreted in very different ways. Case in point: my MOC: My representation of a spaceship is rather Star Wars-like: dirty, dark, lots of greebles. Your design could be more Star Trek-like: clean, bright, open, no greebels.

Not really, though it could be. I haven't worked out a timeline yet. It is the prologue to the Mission to Geonosis. Thank you! Only they are not jetpacks, but portable shield generators.
