I based this MOC arc off the TCW Geonosis arc. ("Weapons Factory") That's why Dax's head is sticking up out of the ground.

Qui-Gon cannot have been the ONLY person to know this ability. The Jedi and Sith have been around for thousands of years, but he can figure out something that noone else could? And he was able to teach it to two people within 20 years. Also, the Father on Mortis became a Force Ghost when he died. Perhaps the reason Anakin became one was because he was The Chosen One. A quick check of Wookipedia reveals that some Sith can retain their identities after death. Also that Qui-Gon was NOT the only one to have this ability. Read more here. Interestingly, it states that Sith can become"Force Ghosts", but normally through objects such as Talismans. Note that Mother Talzin gave Savagé a Talisman to find Maul. Maul and Savagé are brothers, so perhaps Maul was given something to keep him alive. Though, if true, I don't know why he didn't return to Dathomir. Edit: And Mother Talzin knew that Maul was alive, that's why she sent Savagé to find him. I think that Mother Talzin could be behind Maul's survival.

True. Why are Jedi the only ones that can become Force Ghosts? Perhaps this will help to make the Light and Dark sides more equal, as they should be.

That and, though I know why they were not included, the sensor dish and Lightsaber launcher. Also, the "Shock Probe", but again, it would be difficult at this scale. I can't think of any other iconic Artoo gadgets right now.

Minifigs can't have printing on the backs of their legs; it would rub off every time they sat down. At least, that's what I think makes the most sense.

I agree about the light. What I do if I don't have enough light is turn off all the light and just use the flash. Just try to avoid glare.
