The watchtower of Arod Mearas Arod Mearas is a small settlement with the Green Riders training and breeding centre in the middle of large green pastures. The Watchtower of Arod Mearas is a simple wooden tower with a stone base, build to keep watch over the valuable breeding horses of the Green Riders that graze in the green pastures surrounding Arod Mearas. When horse thiefs are spotted the guard at the watchtower will alert the settlement by blowing an alarm signal on his horn. Arriving Green Riders that are coming to Arod Mearas that pass by are greeted and the horn is blown to make sure a nice room and stable will be made ready. Here you see Kariny Rhiannon and Chestnut on their way to Arod Mearas for a few days of rest before she will be called for a new mission. She greets the guards in the watchtower One of the guards of the watchtower is having a lunch break. The other guard blows his horn to make sure they now at Arod Mearas that Kariny is arriving! Can my watchtower be place at the red circle on the map ? I hope that piece of land was nog already taken. I will make a separate topic for my watchtower later today with more pictures.

Kariny Rhiannon and her horse only had a few days rest after her return from her long mission throughout Historica. She and her horse were sent on a new mission by her liege. Her first task in this mission takes her deep in the heart of the Enchanted Forest. She has to deliver an important message to Queen Iladriel of the Elves. Queen Iladriel has an army of fearsome and resourceful warriors at her command,in these time of fragile peace Artorius Rex would like an alliance with her to strengthen the power of Avalonia. This is a perilous mission as she had to cross the mystic isles and evade spies and assassins that wanted to prevent her from reaching her goal. The Queens’palace is not easily found and the queen is known to dislike humans. Queen Iladriel is admired for her beauty and is also a skilled powerfull sorceress. It is rumoured that once a young arrogant prince from a faraway land killed one of her favorite sacred white deer as a way to impress her and demanded that she would marry him. In her outrage about his perilous deed it is said that she changed him into a frog…(is this a fabel or truth, can you find the frog on one the pictures ??) Fortunatly Queen Iladriel was quite curious about the famous Green Riders and their small magical abilities. She would like to find out if these are remnants from ancient Elvish magic. Furthermore she is quite impressed by Kariny’s ability to find her palace and the Green Riders respect for nature, therefore she has allowed her a meeting and deliver the message from Artorius Rex. The question is, will she give her support to Artorius? After reading the letter from Artorius Rex, Queen Iladriel didn’t give any comments, but she offered Kariny a cup of the special Elvish Ruby Red Wine. She asked her about her secret magical ability (you might find out what it is in later MOCs), and assessed her magical abilities. Kariny also allowed Iladriel to read her mind, so she could see for herself through Kariny’s eyes what is happening outside the Enchanted Forest in Historica. Seeing drows destroying nature and assessing the potential damage to the beautiful places in Avalonia when invaded, she decides she will step up and give her support! Kariny will take her answer back to Artorius Rex. (this is my entry for the High King of the Elves title)

I really like how you build the rocks and the desert sand. The combination of tan and dark blue for the watch tower really stands out, and gives it a nice 'arabic' exotic look! Great job!

Great landscaping and I love al the details, especially the fish smoker!

I would like to claim #20 if that is possible to build the headquarters for the Green Riders (the elite messengers of Avalonia). THe name of the building will be "Green Rider Headquarters". I think it is logical to place their headquarters near the other stables.

Kariny Rhiannon, young Green Rider (elite messenger of Avalonia) is on her way to Albion to pledge her alliance to the Guild of Avalonia with her horse Chestnut. She is al little bit late, because she was on her first long mission (after a 3 years apprentiship) that took her to the far regions of Historica. She hopes she is not too late to join.(The character is inspired by the Green Riders in the fantasy books of Kristin Britain) The Green Riders The famous elite messengers that serve the Guild of Avalonia, they are also excellent swordsmen and women and known for their tracking and wilderness survival skills. It is also rumored that each Green Rider has its own kind of small magic, which enables them to complete difficult dangerous missions. Their horses are famous for their endurance and are without doubt the fastest horses in Historica. The horses are a crossbreed between the famous noble horses of Kaliphin and the sturdy forest ponies of Avalonia. The Green Riders are respected as honourable messengers in Historica. The Green Riders have their main headquarters in the city of Albion, where the chief Messenger resides and where each Green Riders have to report after their mission and new assignments are planned. Besides their headquarters, they have a large stable on the great green plains near Albion were they breed and train their special horses. After a long mission a Green Rider and their horse will stay there to recover and wait for their next assignment. The new apprentices also have to learn and train there in their first year. (both the headquarters in the city of Albion and the Green Riders Stables are MOCs to be expected, but I first have to collect enough suitable bricks) The Green riders also have several small wooden cabins all over the country, that server as resting places for the messengers and their horses. Most of them are situated near the main travel routes, but there are also some cabins along secret roads that only the Green Riders now of. (maybe I will make a small MOC of a Green Rider an one of these secret cabins) The Green Riders can be recognized by their dark green shield with a white Pegasus head (the shield is a WIP), their all green uniform and cloak, their brown messenger pouch and simple sword. (I recently started with MOCing, mainly in lego Town. Castle is a whole new theme for me, so I don’t have many figures and suitable bricks yet, but as a fantasy books lover I am really enthusiastic. This Historica thing really got me and made me sign up for eurobricks instead of lurking around. So I am also a Eurobricks newby)

Hello everybody, My name is Doornroosje and I am a (female)Lego fan from the Netherlands. I was following the Eurobricks forums since a year ago and now it was time to register myself instead of lurking around. In my chilhood days my dad bought me and my sister a lot of lego from pirates, castle to town en we build and played like crazy. Since two years ago my boyfriend got me addicted to Lego again when he got out of his Dark Ages and pulled me out of them too. He is more about collecting and I am more about MOCing. I started out with building town houses, but very recently I am excited about Castle too!
