Thanks, I have some worries ordering from foreign countries after getting scammed on a purchase last year . I'll probably order from him later.
-
Has anyone ordered from bricksy24 before? Is he a reliable foreign seller, because he happens to have a lot of Fabuland on him that I might pick up.

Hah, the fun thing is, I actually own that. It might still up in the attic at the country house! I really liked the design of this train and I tried making a version myself, but I never took a photo of it and this was long before I joined EB.

Both types have their ups and downs. The freight train is good if you want something that has plenty of playability. Different car arrangements + removable cargo + variety of cars = a lot of fun for the kids. The passenger train is good for getting plenty of figs or windows, but the variety of different trains Lego has released leaves the amount of addable cars to a minimum unless you buy the entire set again. My vote would have to go with the Freight train. More variety = More fun.

Is anyone else annoyed that you cannot fight more than three times a day? Do you get an extended amount of times the more you level up? And can anyone tell me how Pupils work?

Does anyone know how to get pupils? And should we make a Eurobricks clan?

Here's mine, He isn't that strong right now, but there is a tournament tomorrow so I might get more Exp.

A good start, but the front train needs some fixes to look good. 1) Make the main train smaller: that gap in the middle doesn't look good. Shrinking the train to look like a tank engine like this would improve the overall design, plus you can have a nice tank engine. 2) Remove that round boiler piece: The radar dish can be added to the front of the train and it would still look good. 3) Remove the brown window and the carriage wheels: It doesn't look that well with the wheels sticking out, and the window sits too low for the engineer to look out from 4) Height: Raise it by a brick and it would look nice, even better if some greebles were thrown in on the sides. If those are fixed, it would look rather nice for a train not using train wheels. I give the current MOC  thumbs up.

Review: 7710 Push-Along Passenger Steam Train
AgentRick replied to BillytheKid's topic in LEGO Train Tech
Nice review. I personally prefer the Red/Blue color scheme of it's brother, 7715. I like this one's engine better though. -
I collect mostly the Town/City/Train stuff, with those odds and ends themes here and there (Space, Power Miners, Castle, the rest...).

Heh, yeah. I guess I'm too much of a worry wart.

Sorry about that, but still. I can't access anyone's folders without getting [empty], and I'm not sure if I can upload anything new.

Brickshelf's service stats say that there are 0 files on their website. Are they just doing repair on their servers, or is this a permanent thing?

This is one of the first Architecture series kits I actually want to pick up. The piece count doesn't bother me, as it seems most of it comes from 1x1 tiles and bricks.

Sweet set, I love the touch of a "Flammbe setting. Plus can anyone look at Dr. Inferno's little jet and not shout "Pilder On"?
-
What I want is a nice red and white German style Diesel/Electric type loco pulling a freight train with a tank car, box car, and brake van/flat bed car. could be aimed at children also.

Watch in amazement as a real Mega Man destroys Karzahni in an instant!

Any Tabletop Wargame/RPG players here?
AgentRick replied to simonjedi's topic in Culture & Multimedia
I used to play Tau in 40k, but I then realized that I could probably recreate some of those designs in brick form. -
Good to know that people know I'm on the job. Hooray for simplistic Sigfigs!

It looks like a corner-type building, as the edge facing the Taj Mahal is lower than the other side.

What about the minifig scale Aircraft carrier that got in the Guinness book of World Records?
-
Simple, make the ship into an oil tanker. Then make a large oil rig with some technic beams for supports and supports that reach down to the bottom of the pool. Have the oil rig at the shallow end of the pool to decrease the amount of bricks on the legs, and build a oil refinery on the deeper end of the pool. Great idea?

Shouldn't the back wheels be smooth as well as when the front smoothes the tarmac or Concrete, the back is going to leave some marks in the back.

I'm thinking that a 64x64 building would be huge. The largest buildings in the castle community project is 32x32, and I think that's good enough for something that tall. Plus I think the tallest it should be is 10 stories or 100 bricks.
