  1. hello! obviously this is not a winning entry but being a new zealander with all the hobbit-hype I couldn't resist not that we get snow down here, + its the peak of summer right now but who really cares? it was fun enjoy! (if deemed unsuitable for contest could someone move it to the Historic themes forum? thanks)
  2. hes still tiny compared to everyone whos not a dwarf
  3. yeah, I have not seen the gollum yet ( my brother has) but there is a massive gandalf down the road + there was heaps of other stuff at the world premier. I don't use bricklink, never have, and am going to try stay clear of it as long as i can because I know that if I start I will get lost in it. I would probably go for: foliage (maybe) SNOT bricks tiles 2x1 bricks in bley and tan cheese! dark bley slopes
  4. great job evil! I think that a bit more elevation would finish it off, unless the nocturnian plains are that bare. the scelly is pretty cool too!
  5. yes do so, your mom sounds pretty cool
  6. you mean LUG4/2? I am part of that, but is quite unclear where you get lugbulk from them and if they even do it. you seem very informed about NZ? super keen if you do come in august
  7. yep, a LUG needs atleast 10 people participating in the LUGbulk program to qualify for LUGbulk, but its a good idea, i know some people EDIT: lots of rules looks like it won't be happening for a while
  8. i have 85 light bley brick bricks, probably the pride of my collection at the moment with LUGBULK, can you order multiple elements in 1 go? I really need to find a LUG in the north island...
  9. don't do that thelegoninja, you might catch their stupid
  10. thanks! thank you!
  11. I may have to try the rockwork, I have been meaning to so for about 3 months now. great build, I am also building an autumn scene myself. keep it up! ~Legonardo
  12. so hows the challenge 5 judging going?
  13. you want to give us your place along with our given first place? nah I think you should get something for "participation"
  14. I am surprised you don't yet have a MOC expert badge, all of your creations are outstanding, these are certainly no exception! loving the wheat field, very creative :) keep it up! ~Legonardo
  15. you know when you build something but you don't find it good and build something else? in the last fortnight I have built 3 creations that are true to that. I also built some sci-fi but that isn't really guild-related...at all. ~Legonardo
  16. always close congrats!
  17. hey mate, goo dto see more kiwis here! $50 for mirkwood. where in NZ are you? Im a wellingtonian
  18. cheaper than LEGO.com is anyway, LEGO.com normally have the standard NZ prices so yeah.
  19. exactly what happened to me yesterday, except i was cold from sailing with some of my friends in a "raft" we made which capsized, after that I just wanted to go home. oh don't try sailing a self made-raft in 50kph winds and large waves, its a bit stupid
  20. yeah... how much i smirkwood, $50? I was going to get one yesterday, in the end I didn't though
  21. I await your creations I am working on something that I am unsure i fI have the bricks to finish, you may never see it, but lets hope otherwise
  22. Thanks berry! I think I will buy the set, lots of nice earth tones and epic figs! I am bummed about stickers for the maps, I really think they should have been printed on. also here in NZ the price is only about 100 usd, much less inflation than other sets we have had in the past
  23. Today 1 year ago, I joined Eurobricks and Avalonia :)
