  1. I've always been a fan of the castle-sets. And, being a fan of fantasy, too, the fantasy era-sets were my favorite of the non-licensed castle sets. However, when the fantasy was replaced by Kingdoms, I suddenly lost interest in castle-sets. I can understand my people like Kingdoms, but in my opinion, the sets were just ... well, boring. However, this year's LOTR seems to be a good way for me, to make my return. (Even, if it is technically not a "castle theme").
  2. Hawkman is already in the first row. In the second, we have Hawkgirl, and Huntress. Also, the green head under Scarecrow could be Brainiac... and the Droid in the last row should be a Brainiac-Drone/-Robot. About the blonde nest to Supergirl: Could it be Powergirl?
  3. Wonder Woman's Invisble Jet; Lobo's Space-Bike, Catman used to have a Catmobile, the Green Lanterns can actually create whatever vehicle they (or Lego) want, Robin had his own car, called the Redbird (introduced during Knightfall), at the same time Batman had a rail-based vehicle (also used by Jean-Paul Valley/AzBat), the Teen/New/Titans had a jet, Young Justice had a Whizz-Car (or something like that... also used by Superboy & the Ravers), and there could also be a Bruce Wayne/Lex Luthor-Set with a black Limousine...
  4. What about Galadriel with her water-dish/mirror-thingy?
  5. Indeed, it is. Attached to a bar with stop: http://peeron.com/inv/parts/4095
  6. I really like the Ecto 1. Nice work from your son. However, the logo itself is a bit hard to recognize.
  7. I just noticed that amazon.de has listed the"Collector's Edition" of this game. It includes the US-preorder Lex Luthor minifig. It says: - (yellow box on the left) "The perfect gift! With exclusive Lex Luthor Lego toy" - (bottom right corner) "includes one Lego mini-kit"
  8. Actually, Bane first met Ra's some time after Knightfall in the 4 issue mini-series "Bane of the Demon". That is no "distinguishing mark" of Bane. He had his "vision" about the Bat back in Santa Prisca. It was his "mission" to prove, that he is better than the Bat(man), so he could rule Gotham City. It was never about "Beating Batman, because he hates him".
  9. I'm missing the option "Sure as long they will be modular and with exclusive minifigs.", so I go with the first option.
  10. I ordered 6858 Catwoman Catcycle City Chase, and the 10197 Fire Brigade about 2 hours ago. My very first modular building.
  11. @brickitect It looks like a V11.5 TEE (Trans Europ Express) with a new color scheme.
  12. @spzero The garage-door seems to be from 1966. The baseplate is indeed broken. The hole should be covered up by some sort of ramp: click me The shell-sign appeared in four different sets (three in 1966, and one in 1971): click again The other road-signs are from 1966 aswell: another click I haven't found the last piece from the garage-pic yet, but somehow, I won't be surprised if it is from 1966. Edit: The last part is a "Hinge Coupling" and was used in 20 sets between 1963 and 1969: last click
  13. As a group prefered the Dominion, with the Romulans (especially their cameo in Enterprise). I liked the Borg during their TNG-episodes, and in first contact, but after that, they just got too watered down. My favorite individual villain is Khan Noonien Singh (with Gul Dukat, Dr. Arik Soong, and General Chang as follow-ups). As for the other questions: What is your favorite Series: DS9 (with Enterprise close behind) Your favorite film of the series: Star Trek VI - The Undiscovered Country (The first Star Trek movie I watched at the cinema) Your favorite character from the shows: Now here's a tie between Chief O'Brien, Gul Dukat and various characters played by Jeffrey Combs (Weyoun, Brunt, and Shran) And your favorite epsiode: "Trials and Tribble-ations" from DS9. I can watch this one over, and over again.
  14. Gene Wilder - The train crash during the Maersk Madness was just an accident... really. Thanks a lot TheBrickster.
  15. Brickling lists these sets as "Sculptures". Here is a link to that section: click
  16. I wonder, why they changed Shelob's legs. On the poster the middle part of them is (from bottom to top) brown 1x4 plate, black hinge-plates, and the brown 1x2 tile, whereas the shown model has the hinge-plates, and the 1x4 plate in an reversed order.
  17. Congratgulations to Woolie, Vlai23, and Wondermonkey. And thanks a lot to TheBrickster for this contest.
  18. I just ordered the 8404 City Public Transport at Toys'R'Us for 72,89€ . (Free-Shipping-Deal + 10% Late-Night-Sale-Discount + 10% New-Customer-Discount) I'll also buy the 66389 City Super Pack for 49,95€ in a few hours.
  19. I have to say, that all of the entries are great. My vote goes to Holodoc, for the glimpse of the Maersk Madness behind the scenes (in this case: the loco-panel).
  20. You mean medium blue, instead of Maersk blue? *gasp* But that would be madness! By the way: Your crash reminds me of the end of "Silver Streak".
  21. Now that gave me the idea for this picture: The Maersk crashing into my (unfinished) Dwarf's Mine MOD/MOC.
  22. Oops, my bad. Have you tried to attach just the round plates? Do they hold on without the rest?
  23. I suppose, it is about step 36 in the 1st book. However, only the lower 1x1s are technic-bricks, slovakiasteph. As cimddwc wrote, the lamps attach to headlights.
  24. Set Number: 5000030 Name: Kendo Jay Theme: Ninjago Year of Release: 2012 Pieces: 31 (including minifig-parts & game card) Minifigs: 1 Price: free, for any purchase at Lego & S@H above 55 Euros BrickLink BrickSet --------------------------------- This is a review of a Ninjago Booster featuring Kendo Jay. The green bag shows all it's contents on the front side. It also shows the Ninjago-logo, and some snake-scales heading from the upper left, to the lower right corner. The back shows the actual size minifig. The set number is written above the barcode. After opening the bag, we get a smaller bag with the actual parts, and the game card (loose inside the big bag), which is kinda blurry on my pic, since I forgot to make a macro shot, and it's holographic. There are no instructions, or promotional leaflets in this set. The minifig has a nice torso-, and leg-printing. Unfortunally, this can't be seen, when the armor is attached. Kendo Jay has a serious face expression and a scar at his right eyebrow. The helmet came in an extra bag, inside the big one. The weapons consist of various sticks (lightsaber blades, and bars), spikes, lightsaber hilts, axe heads, trans blue slopes, a trans blue warning light, a pearl gold spear, and a reddish brown pitchfork. Since we have no instructions, we have to assemble the weapons with the reference-pic on the package. After the "build", we have nine weapons: 3 spears, a pitchfork, an axe, a mace (at least, I think, it is supposed to be one), a (kendo-)stick, a stick with a warning light, and a double-bladed-stick. We also get a ring-like piece, with a nice lightning-pattern. According to BrickLink, it is a "Spinner Crown". The bottom of the spinner crown. Since it features four 1x2 bottom-holes, it can easily be used für MOCs. Verdict Price : na - Since, I got this for free, I have no complains Minifig : 9/10 - I like the armor, and the printing. Unfortunally, Jay has no printing on the back. Parts : 7/10 - Except, for the minifig-parts, only the spinner crown, and the small bars with side-studs are worth mentioning. And it's always nice, go get another pitchfork. Thank you for the read. Neb
  25. These two, would be the most instering things for me. I just tried the aforementioned sites, and the overview (or, in some cases the results I got via the search-function), were... well let's say, it's not easy to actually find the kind of MOCs, I was looking for.
