Sorry about the poll not being up immidately, I had some time constraints and it's taken me several hours to sort through all of this and put all the code together. Also thanks Baby Jawa to pointing CloneFactory's vignette out to me. When I glanced at it initially it seemed so big I put it as a bignette. Sorry for any confusion. I vote for Oky Wan Kenobi with his Bignette; I love the terrain, the way the AT-TE fits in, and the crashed ARC gunship is sweet in that river! I voted for Artisan's Vignette, I love the droid assembly line! So brilliant and colored perfectly! But everyone did a great job. I have a feeling that many here will Vote for Pedro!!! He was my first choice until I examined Oky wan's. He has my second favorite bignette, also with a great crashed ship. Hey, what's with me and crashes? Also I really like the way that Fat Tony assembled his vignette. If it were a city vignette, people might call it cheating, but since this is star wars and a ship might actually have a gravity like that, it's very believeable! You have an ingenious and well put together vignette, Fat Tony. That's who I'd vote for second. But everyone here did a great job, and good luck to all in the voting! Umm...Also...on the subject on 'can I vote for myself?', I just want to say that the point of a poll is to vote for your favorite. Now if your entry is your favorite, either because you built it yourself and are proud of it, or simply because you think it looks the best, go ahead and vote for your entry. But this is about being honest with yourself; please seriously consider and vote for whichever entry is your favorite. There will be no penalizations for those who vote for themselves. Sorry for being late. Since I feel bad about not being on to stop the flow of entries on the 31st, I'm going to let all entries before this post that were turned in after the 31st still be qualified. I see a couple new entries I really like...I love the one where Obi wan is fighting the sith on that platform and that cool clone in it, and I like the one by Clone Factory. One more day before Clone Wars sets are availible!!

I don't see anything wrong with it, nor do I see a rule that says 'The vignette must be laying down not standing up'. I think Fat Tony came up with a perfectly ingenious way to increase the size of his vignette entry, and I think he has a good shot a placing in the vignette category. Good work with your vignette, Fat Tony!

As long as you don't add more bricks on somehow , but if you're just adding 'Special Effects' such as lasers and visual enhancements, and not altering the model in any way, photoshopping would be just fine. Trooperdavinfelth, I'm sorry to hear about that. Good work anyways. Also, I'm glad we already have three pages of entries, but I'm also supporting those of you who are waiting for July 26th. But unless you already have a lot of you stuff already built, you'll have to work fast after getting your Clone Wars set to finish your entry by the deadline of July 31st. I'll be really excited to see some of the new Clone Wars sets featured in these entries!

Verdict on Legorevolution: Legorevolution made the bignette for this contest; he just couldn't post it here first because he was waiting for his account to be activated. That's at least the conclusion I've come to. The reason that rule was set up was to keep out people with entries that had been built for weeks prior to the contest; we don't want any like that, and legorevolution's entry was not like that.

Trooper, really quick before you start, it must be on an 8x8 to be a vignette; and the foilage can only overhang by 1 stud. Also, since Wuzzupbob's custom figure folder is experiencing lots of lag, he's published it in a .JPG. The fourth place winners will be able to pick any one of these...for their own:

I agree 100% with Deinonychus. A steampunk Air Pirates theme would be amazing! I think that there would be a great intrest in such a theme, and there would be a lot of sets that lego could make out of that. Think of all the greebling...

I had an idea like that for star wars! It's still a great idea. I think there should be a whole line of it, probably of medieval themed characters. There would be figure packs that you could purchase for $10-$20, and several different sets of different terrain and buildings. You could mix and match them around (like a modular battlefield) or you could take them apart, and build your own battlefield! Anyone heard of Heroscape? Lego could do something very similar to this. Heroscape has been called 'Just like lego' (I'm not one to call it that) but it does encompase similar parameters that lego could easily expand to. Modular battlefield tabletop game, on!!

How about something completely new and different. Like...Aztecs? The old Johnny Thunder had a few Central American sets, but it would be very interesting to see a castle like theme of Aztecs or Incas, maybe with Conquistodors?

trooperdavinfelth, I'm afraid you can't have that much overhanging your bignette. Just because there is no size limit doesn't mean you can have that much hanging over...you'll have to have everything on a baseplate still. Sorry.

I'm not going to disqualify an entry because it has a plant overhanging. Don't worry about it, I'm a nice guy.

Aww...I knew some people were gonna come along and make a sweet entry, that's why there are four prizes for each division! On another note, Wuzzupbob has announced that for the fourth place in both divisions, he will give the prize recipent a choice of any figure he has ever created; he will re-create it for them! Keep in mind that some of these figures have sold for over $100, so getting fourth place is a real bargain! I still love that door.

Those are fine too; go ahead and use them! I'm actually looking forward to seeing them in an MOC...it'll be very unique I think!

Remember everyone; don't rush art; and LEGO is art. That's why I set the deadline at the end of July! You all will have plenty of time to build your best work for the contest. Numbuh23, your vignette is very original! Great work thinking that up! Boom, I like the way you put the backround in your bignette, and the flowers you used. Nice work!
