  1. Since I am arriving tomorrow, can I take my stuff up to my room, then use a luggage rack to bring it down on Thursday, instead of leaving it in my car and waiting in the lines?
  2. Agreed 100%! Thanks for hosting, Shadows!
  3. Thanks, I was going for the industrial look, so that's perfect! I would've liked to meet you at Brickworld, but alas, I guess that can't happen.
  4. More Fabuland Star Wars ? Really?
  5. I am perfectly content with the way Lego is going right now. I think they've realized the perfect balance between licensed and home brand themes. I think the license themes bring in many ideas that Lego wouldn't have been able to come up with, or simply wouldn't legally be allowed to produce. While these sets come at a premium, I think all the great elements, figures, and designs that come out of them is worth it. Another pro about licensed sets is that the "fanboys" of those movies/TV shows/comics/Etc. are more inclined to buy them, potentially adding to the AFOL community. On that note, I still think that they way Lego has gone back to it's roots in the last 3-4 years is the best option for them. I think they've reached the point where if they pursue their own lines any further, it'll be a case of too much of a good thing is a bad thing. The reasons I really love Lego's own lines are because of the freedom the designers are given. As well, the designers are able to lengthen the story line in whichever direction they want, and can use customer feedback to change their decisions. Therefore, I have not yet voted in this poll, as I don't see a suitable option for me.
  6. That's too bad, I was really excited to meet you.
  7. I think I'm gonna fill the truck with the gasoline, and use the oil with it, then get the hell outta here.
  8. What did I tell you lot..... . If you guys haven't realized, I'm always the loyal bodyguard !
  9. Actually, no I can't Yes, a Swedish police officer and a Biker; Great combo .
  10. I am definitely coming by your display .
  11. Wow there, Pi, don't want to be taken the wrong way. Yes, I spent almost all my Lego money for two-three months financing this. Here is the link to the sausage page on Bricklink, and here is a link to all the Lego food items. Thanks! I felt it needed something other than square walls, so I decided to make the angled one. The windows are based off of Hinckley's design, so they fit better together. I'm glad you like the garage door, it was definitely one of the main architectural points that I wanted to include. Yes, and sometimes it's not only animal leftovers Thanks, I'm really glad all the main points that I wanted to highlight are being picked up on
  12. Yes, someone did. I'd like to head to the airstrip, if you are all done looking 'round here.
  13. zero. I bought most of the pieces off of Bricklink. I wish I had the Sandcrawler....
  14. Thanks! I'm glad you like the garage area, it took quite a few redesigns. Also, if you look at the WIP thread, you can see how the feedback from other members really helped in the creation of the assembly line.
  15. Actually, I'd kick my leg up backwards..... Doofus
  16. And I'd like to "accidentally" kick Greaseman in the balls as he pushes me in the barrel. Then laugh at him.
  17. Simply, coloured text bothers me. I actually think that your's is fine, but people who colours like bright blue bug me. I also think your colour matches your avatar:grin:. So, I know I am generalizing, but I'm going to have to say that, yes, coloured text bothers me.
  18. I'd like to reach down to get the cassette, then go back inside and play it on the machine.
  19. Thanks, and don't worry, it'll be at Brickworld.
  20. Hey, welcome to Eurobricks! You've got some fine creations so far, and I'm sure you'll improve! Enjoy it here, and if you have any questions, feel free to ask.
  21. Since I must vote, I'll Vote: Edner Flak
  22. Apparently, I have a website that sells Japanese swords and sword fittings . Linky
  23. Great to see you post here again, Brick Miner. I agree with you 100%. I think if they had continued in their ways, they would have done an amazing job. I'm not saying this isn't amazing, just much less so than the Cafe Corner and Green Grocer. Also, as Svelte_Corps mentioned, the simple details that could have been implemented-like the 1x1 round bricks and tiles on the railings-would have been easily incorporated, as we can see in the Cafe Corner and Green Grocer. I doubt I'll be getting this set, especially at $200.
  24. Your wish is my command. Final pics are now up here!
  25. So, I've finally decided to upload the pictures of my sausage factory, which I took in April . So, without further ado, here are the pics: See much more, including WIP pics on my flickr Also, prepare for some pictures of this along with Hinckley's buildings from Brickworld, and if you are coming, introduce yourself for a free tour!
