  1. She was commemting about how you wrote, "I am died as loyal Zita in Noir Mafia."
  2. I think you are talking about Eilif's guide , though I'm not sure it would be suitable. My suggestion would be, as Captain Blue Hair said, contact Lego, and request a large quantity of them. Or, if you belong to a LUG, you could try the new LUGBulk program.
  3. I fully understand. Whenever I look at your new vehicles on flickr, I can't believe people say that. I guess the it's often better for it to look simpler, even when the simpler you make it, the harder it turns out to build.
  4. Ralph, please stop doing these two things: 1) Building everything I plan on building before I get around to it 2) Building it better than I ever will. I really love this, and I think you've got it almost perfect. One suggestion would be to, if possible, switch the rown tiles at the front to plates, flip them over, and put brown cheese on them. another suggestion would be instead of using the 1x4 trans-clear brick, try this piece. Aren't those the most fun, though?
  5. I will not be able to finish my spaces any time soon. High school is starting in just over two weeks, and I need to clean up my room and Lego before then, so I doubt I'll get much building in for a while. I will try and finish them eventually, but if the need arises, feel free to re-allocate them.
  6. Still looking for these? If so, PM with what you are willing to pay. Shipping will be about $3-$3.50 USD, though, so keep that in mind.
  7. Oooh... I like this idea. What about some more back country-ish sets? Canoe Launch Site: A dirt road/launch area and water with a small dock on a 32x32 baseplate. Includes pick-up truck, two canoes (One on top of the truck), one family (Mother, Father, Child) getting into a canoe in the water, three men unloading the truck, two food barrels, 8 packs. Portage beginning/end: The start/end of a modular portage. Portage sign hung on a tree. Includes landing for canoes, two canoes, four people, one food barrel, 3 packs. 32x32 baseplate Portage middle (Large): Another section of the modular portage, on a 32x32 baseplate. Includes two people carrying packs. Portage Middle (Small): Another section of the modular portage, on a 16x16 baseplate. Includes one person carrying a pack. Canoe Trip: An small island on a 32x32 baseplate with a tent set up, a food barrel and two packs, a camp fire and a couple. And they could sell 32x32 blue baseplates in packages of 2(?) as lakes. It's probably all wishful thinking, but that's what this thread is for anyway.

And Ford recently sold Jag and Land Rover to Tata Motors .
  9. Are you the only one who takes care of this index? I would've thought TheBrickster would too, especially with your unusually busy schedule... Also, have you considered pinning this topic? I'm sure some people don't realize that you are able to discuss the index.
  10. Wow, this walk sure is tiring me out. Schmelt, you got any Global Regulator Chow on ya?
  11. That's very true. It wouldn't be fair to talk to Zapper Brick now, since she is dead. You can wait until the conclusion of the game to talk about it, but, until then, I suggest you not PM anyone who is dead regarding the game.
  12. Just came back from a great canoe trip in Algonquin Park .
  13. No problem, glad I could help! That's looking like a great first MOC, by the way. I really love the idea, and all of the details are great! I can't wait to see your finished version. I really don't have any suggestions yet.
  14. Congratulations, svelte_corps Svelte Notorious S.V.E.L.T.E. Svelte ImperialSvelte Svelte, on becoming a Citizen! :sweet: err.... I meant Global Regulator . I'm sure you'll do a great job in your new position, and you won't abuse your power too much .
  15. Hey Vestabuyer, welcome to Eurobricks. The links you posted are not yet visible because of the time it takes Brickshelf to screen all pictures, so why not read through some tutorials on how to deeplink images, so that we can view them anyway .
  16. You still aren't safe from the ravens, they can fly .
  17. Wait for me, guys! *Runs across bridge, nearly pushing Schmelt off*
  18. For my first review, I'll be reviewing set 4487, from the Mini Star Wars line. Come with me as I show you the wonders of this great set. 4487 Jedi Starfighter and Slave One Set Name: Jedi Starfighter and Slave One Set Number: 4487 Theme: Star Wars Sub-Theme: MINI Released: 2003 Pieces: 53 Minifigs: 0 Price: USD: $4.00 EUR: Unkown CAD: $5.99 Price Obtained At: CAD: $4.00 Databases: Bricklink Brickset LUGNET Peeron Flickr Set The Box Front: Visible on the front of the box are two of the three components of the set, against a background of a foreign planet. Some nice touches are the laser shots and the MINI logo. Back: Here we can see the other three MINI sets from this series, as well as the third component from each set, which make up a TIE Bomber. Side: The side of the box, containing the standard multi-lingual warning. Interior Cardboard: Since the box is made of plastic, they included an interior fold-out piece of cardboard. Since many of you are probably wondering if you can actually build on the brick that is built into the box, I decided to take a few pictures for you guys. We can see that yes, you can build on the box, but..... ....Only in the corner. If you try to build on the centre, the box falls in on itself. Instructions: Front: The image is the same as the box image, although I was expecting the fold out variety common in impulse sets. Random Page: Here are steps five and six. The only problem I found was distinguishing Dark Grey from Black, but luckily none of the parts are in both colours in this set. Contents: Of the box: Pieces: All the pieces spread out.... Rare/Printed/Interesting Pieces: Some nice printed pieces, along with quite a few useful Dark Red/Dark Blue and Sand Green pieces. My favourite has to be the 1x1 Trans-Black tile, though . Extra Pieces: Some great extras, including two rare coloured 1x1 tiles. The Build: Jedi Starfighter: The base is starting to take shape. The completed Starfighter. To the best of my knowledge, it looks quite accurate for this scale. Slave One: The base. Loving those Dark Blue headlight bricks. The completed Slave One. Some very useful pieces in there. TIE Bomber Section: The third piece of the set. A part of a TIE Bomber. Each of the four sets contains a piece of it, and when you have all of them, you can assemble a TIE Bomber. Completed Set: The set in all it's glory. I think it was well worth the price. Verdict: Minfigs: N/A Parts: 9.5/10 Four wonderful printed parts along with useful pieces in rare colours. Price: 9/10 I think $5.99 is very reasonable for a set like this. Not only are the parts great, it's also licensed and the models themselves are great. Playability: 7/10 For a set this size, I don't think you can expect that much playability, but even so, it is rather fun to swoosh. Design: 9/10 The designs look spot on, especially with the printed pieces. Overall: 34.5/40 A great set, if I found it again, I would definitely snag it.
  19. I'm still going to be building the wall section being repaired, I just don't have enough room for everything on a 16x16 baseplate.
  20. Ditto. Thanks for a great game, TPRU, I only hope Jimbutcher and mine's is half as good.
  21. What do you think the chances of us getting a Heavy Rescue or USAR type truck with the fire truck and boat set? I think it's be a nice variation to the standard pumper/ladder/battalion trucks that we get.
  22. I'm going to take up square 29 as well, and go 32 studs deep instead of the regular 16. If that's OK of course.
  23. There's a great hobby store across the street from Hollywood Gelato called "The Sentry". They have many of the new sets, as well as some from a few years ago. They even have a harry potter and NBA set. Snagged 7196 Chuacilla Cemetery Battle and 7197 Venice Canal Chase today.
  24. I got 7196 Chauchilla Cemetery Battle and 7197 Venice Canal Chase from a little store called The Sentry. I walked in, and to my left there was a pile of the cardboard boxes with purple stripes, so I looked for the numbers and just asked him to one of each out for me. They are very nice there.
  25. It's been a few weeks since GM decided to discontinue their line of medium duty trucks; the GMC TopKick and Chevy Kodiak, and for those I've been thinking about how to remember such a vehicle, that I, for one, just recently acquired a taste for. Four days ago, I decided I'd build a Lego MOC. Well two, actually. I present to you; LegoLand Landscaping Ltd.'s GMC TopKick Cherry Picker and Mulch Truck along with a Vermeer Wood Chipper. Many more pictures are available on my flickr. Thanks!
