  1. Hinckley, you've done it again. As has been noted, the luggage rack is nothing short of genius, and it's nice to see the couplings not attached to the wheels. The only suggestions I have would be to make the part in between the wheels larger, to centre the windows, and to change the tan log bricks to regular bricks. Even if you don't end up liking it, could you post a picture so that I can see what it would look like? Thank you, and again, great work as usual.
  2. Welcome Tormod! I hope you enjoy yourself here, feel free to shoot me a PM if you have any questions. I'm sure you'll have fun here.
  3. I know that I sometimes say that, and the truth is that A) It's just s joke B) It's commenting on the fact that there is a female MF in the set C) The parts will be useful D) If I were an MF, it's how they would look to me. Other people might think differently, those are just my opinions.
  4. Not yet, I just need to work out a few small things first.
  5. This thread is mainly for builders, but anyone can answer of course! I was just wondering how you builders out there gets your parts for MOCs, so I made a poll. A) How Do You Get Your Parts? 1. Mainly Sets -You usually buy sets to part out, but may occasionally buy parts only. 2. 6. I got: 7634 Tractor 7682 Shanghai Chase 8014 Clone Walker Battle Pack (My second)
  7. I really like this! My only suggestion would be to make the legs thicker, adding more greebles in places, and also add more of the French colours, rather than the grays. Also, I think, Correct me if I'm wrong, it would be Les Franks .

    City '09?

I actually agree with 5150 Lego on not liking the camper. I am going to end up picking it up for parts, especially that sexy woman. But, I don't like the lime, and think tan would look better. Also, it is more of a playset, with only seats for the figs. I just don't like it. I also really adore the small towtruck, it's so nice and small, yet it is packed full of great details, like the pylons and the crane arm. It is also the first set ever to have car doors in orange. Pure win in my opinion.
  9. Why not? I Believe its true....
  10. Just in case it helps, it shows up fine on Safari .
  11. Very nice! I must've missed this the first time around. I really love this, even without figs. I also like the brickwork on the house. Keep us posted!
  12. Yes, I believe its the blue 2x2 brick with the 5 gold stars around it, like what Bonaparte has beside his rank (Root admin).
  13. That's OK, we all make mistakes. You are the first one to bring this to my attention.

    City '09?

I think he means the creator car transporter
  15. Oh, I definitely agree with you, I was just pointing out facts
  16. Yes, can't wait to see it! I too was wondering how the boats would get out, but I think if you just were to put 2 1x8 tile at the end, it would do fine.
  17. I agree, but I don't think this is anywhere close to being racist, or near a lawsuit. Really, they made up the characters, so they actually could be created bad. We just don't know.
  18. That's very creative Bricks! I love the idea, and it looks great too.
  19. What? How could you do that to such a beautiful MOC? I didn't even get a chance to comment on it.... I thought it was great! I really liked the size of it, fitting an MTT inside? Huge. Great job.
  20. How 'bout solid like your head is currently ? I actually found 3 different scared male heads, just within the first 3 pages of minifig heads on the Bricklink catalogue: 1. The one Hinckley had 2. 3. Versus 5 female heads: 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. Truthfully, I actually think that you could use the first one I listed under female, for a male. Really, I don't believe that little kids, the target group for this line, will actually think about it in a racist way. Also, everyone knows that LEGO is for making your own stuff, they even encourage people to build the sets once, then build whatever you want with the parts. I know that younger kids mix and match minifigs, and monsters, and don't really stick to the "story" given to them by TLC. It's all about imagination, and hey, if you wan to go around calling TLC racist for this, then by all means do it, just have an argument a little more solid than Hinckley's head. Just my thoughts though.
  21. Beautiful! Just beautiful. I really love the story, and the colours look wonderful too. I personally would keep the white as is, because I think it looks nice like that. Will you be taking parts of Brickington to Brickworld? I would love to see this in person.
  22. That's who I was thinking of, but I forgot his name. So in the end I decided to use Squidward as an example It's already been mentioned, and we're now speculating for 2010.
  23. I agree with Athos. I think that the best thing to do would be to get the Sandcrawler, which I think is a much better set than the Falcon. In the end it's up to you, but this is what I think
  24. I really like this! Overall, I think it is great, though I agree that you could maybe change the road by using 1x1 round plates in black and different grays. Personally, it looks too much like a sidewalk right now. Great job though, your work really inspires me.
  25. Good point there, although I think that TLC would probably make a new head mold, like the Squidward one in the Sponebob sets.
