I agree on the track vulnerable issue, but in my opinion it is a huge step back. I believe Lego is somewhat about evolving/expanding. Before we had! (remote -stop and go signals, -points, -decouplers = trackgoodies) Now we dont have! And using a standard Lego IR-Tx to switch between (perhaps upcomming track goodies) would be a mess. "Was it channel 2 and then blue, or was it 1..-or 3 red!?? -Perhaps its just me but I miss the track-fuctionallity of the 12v system
Well again, technically I didn't buy the SET (7191) because of the price. I ordered the pieces from bricklink and was lucky with some pieces that actually allready had the stickers witch I needed.
I altered the colouration as I found the original Lego 7191 a bit too dark. Im not that big a Starwars fan, but the X-Wing is such an icon that I just had to own..
....or go back to 12v.... -No batteries, no los of line of sight, no headache in trying to hide that batt. box, best pulling power, remote controlled stop signals-points-etc, no ugly flexitrac......
Should I continue? hehe
Hi there.
Im new here, so I want to post my first... well... post! :-)
I found my old lego train at my parrents celler for about a year ago. Until then I have mostly enjoyed building technic sets, but finding my old 7740 and seeing all those models here on the internet, has given me a new dream in life. I NEED a train mountain.... :-)) So now Im collecting bits for it here and there. I've started collecting the complete Santa Fe this spring.... Auchhh!!
Best regards
