Reeling from the extreme breakneck pace of the expansion of Brickovia, the Bricklayers Union has declared a general strike. Bosses announced that Union members would march down the main thoroughfares of the Interlocking People's Table-State of Brickovia to "Show the Sovereign-for-Life and the figs inside Assembly Hall what the working guy is made of." Police response has been heavy.

Mayor Man and Labor Secretary Builtrite made raging posts on their official social media accounts, accusing the Palookas of being, "Thuggish gangsters who deprive the working fig of labor," and "Ugly guys with weird face prints no one uses anymore. Plastic surgery is just a head shop away, really, guys."
Brickovian News Network correspondent Bricky Figsley was on the scene as police began erecting barricades one block from Assembly Hall and the People's Palace of the Sovereign-for-Life.
Solidarity might be forever, but the pain of the billyclubs and tear gas deployed on the striking Bricklayers will also last a long while for many. No deaths are reported but Brickovian State Security has announced several dozen workers have been arrested. A warrant has been put out for the Palooka Brothers, who were last seen in the vicinity of the Downtown Diner, consorting with weird figs. If spotted, please call your local police guy immediately.
