Book IV - Prelude 2: Royal Visit to the University of Petrea

Lovely scene and excellent minifig parts choice. And some nice teamwork to get it done. And a nice use of the lion head from the old harry potter sets. Great to see the story moving along. -
[Freebuild] The Old Fortress by the Fiord

If you haven't got a light box at the moment. Then taking pics outside is a good way of getting some more light. Not in direct sunlight but just out of it. And a white sheet or something to help the build stand out. Cheap way to start. π -

Nice build. The clear cheese and horns make for some nice ice touches. Shame we can't see a lil more. -
Nice arena. The snot rocks on the lava really adds to the piece and all the colours come together nicely. The backs a lil plainer without the lovely terracotta roofs though. Perhaps a lil variation to colour of the stone walls would help. Nice set of figs, can't wait to do a nocturnus build with a few figs iv got like that. Also think I'll use my nocturnus type shields in the embassy. π

Book IV - Avalonia: Guild Sign-up and Discussion
funemlefox replied to Grover's topic in Guilds of Historica
Here's Edrin Stoneharbour with his retinue and Griff his stead. From left to right. The twins Coren and Coriel Drakeward, Edrin's bodyguard always with him to watch his back. Then Lord Chancellor Berethan Stagmere, Edrin's most valued advisor. To the right of Edrin is Halveth Moorwyck, alchemist, philosopher and inventor. And at the end is Tovan Deepstone, master mason and architect. The group provides Edrin with defence, advice and eagle eyes on his travels around Avalonia and the wider guilds. -
Book IV - Prelude 1: Queen Ylspeth's Tower Study

It is indeed. Cheers I can see it now. π The clouds and sky outside are a nice touch. And iv never thought of using the ingot as the spine of a book on a shelf. Might be stealing that π -

Mk right that bent figure is a great idea. Brilliant idea. Same with the technic tracks around the plant pots. What are the petals from though? Good luck. -
Yeah that's just utterly superb. The scale the posing and proportions are spot on. How big is that in real life looks huge when I look at pieces? Any chance of some tips on how to make something like that?

Nice arch. And the colours pop against the dark green. Nice snot work to. Where's the fig from?

The Dragonβs Call : Sentinel of Avalonia
funemlefox replied to Sympatik Brick's topic in Guilds of Historica
Great build. The light bricks are a nice touch and the rock work is lovely. Same as nitpick as Grover, those crenellations are a lil small. But that is a cracking dragon, I struggle with building anything animal or human like that. Would love to do a large statute one day, any tips? -

I declare my allegiance to Avalonia. Lord Edrin Stoneharbour, leader of the port city of Stoneharbour. His ambition is to expand Stoneharbour and create a large port city worthy of Avalonia. Using the guidance of both the council of the keep and the guild committee. Below is Lord Edrin. (Futher photo of lord Edrin in casual dress to be uploaded later with more common piece's) -

Cheers. I'm just waiting on some figs to place in the ground floor. Then I'm gonna work on the upper floors and side walls. Then onto some some more sections.
