  1. At this scale, there aren’t many small curved pieces to choose from, so the sausage ended up being the perfect fit for shaping that rounded front end. I imagine LEGO designers run into the same thing with Speed Champions (or any small-scale build) — you’re often limited by what a single piece can provide in terms of both structure and appearance. In a way, that restriction actually makes the design choices easier.
  2. I’d like to share my latest MOC a Speed Champions–style convertible roadster. I took inspiration from the Jaguar E-Type when designing this roadster, aiming to capture the sleek curves and classic feel in the Speed Champions scale I wanted to capture the feel of a classic open-top sports car in the compact 8-stud format.   3. i did model it after the e type. Good eye! I would have to change the exhaust and the bulge on the hood to run longer.
