  1. Wow. Just wow Flawless.
  2. Great to see the story continuing Really like the scale you have managed to achieve on this build - excellent work!
  3. Love the arches and the waterfall - the whole build has a sinister beauty; almost like the Drow took over Rivendell and redecorated. Yet another awe inspiring build
  4. Hi All, Have put up pictures of the embassy which I have been working on, link here Didn't turn out as I had originally planned, but gave me a chance to try out a few things (DC's technique using 1x1 round plates and doors, the curved wood panels coupled with the window frames, Heroica golems incorporated in to the build etc). Ended up looking like it should be sitting in the Monster Fighters thread, but there you go
  5. Deep within the confines of the Wither Wood in Avalonia lies a house avoided by the local inhabitants. Wildlife are said to become skittish and uneasy when near the house, and riders must dismount from their steeds and lead them on foot when travelling along the road in front of the house, lest they risk being thrown from the saddle. The house is used as a safe haven for emissaries from Nocturnus. Certain emissaries have a strong aversion to daylight, even the speckled light filtering through the canopy of the Wither Wood can not be endured, so this embassy allows travellers to rest and await the evening so that they can recommence their travels. The grounds also contain a shrine to the Hidden One, where travellers can leave offerings to ensure a safe journey.
  6. Just fantastic. The timber work and tiled emblem are subdued colours and yet they still manage to jump out and make this build come alive. The detailing on the rock wall is really nice too. A great embassy.
  7. Agreed. The door has to be the highlight feature in an all round stand-out MOC. Well done, great build!
  8. Very picturesque and tranquil looking scene, and excellent work incorporating a touch of 'real life' to this MOC with the back story. Great work!
  9. Really nice blend of styles, solid looking and practical. And the stained glass windows are a really nice touch too
  10. Brilliant! There is a "Castle Bleyskull" joke lurking in here somewhere but I just can't seem to find it...
  11. 25 hours a day? so THAT'S how you Avalonians are so productive! Great looking build, like the rock detailing on the mine (especially the use of curved pieces) and the foliage is incredible - so many layers to it, it must have taken forever to put all of that together. Excellent MOC, very full of character
  12. Great looking avatar! Welcome aboard!
  13. Oh this is just wonderfully detailed! I was genuinely almost in tears giggling at the shark and ostrich heads and the assortment of goods cooking on the rotisserie - the owl in particular appears most displeased with its present predicament ;-). Seriously though, love the realistic details such as the crockery on the shelf and the barrels and sink, as well as the light humour you have employed with the huge assortment of cuisine/game. Really nice build and should be a fantastic feast by the looks of it!
  14. Wow. So much detail! Stand out points for me are the roofing, integration of guild/clan colours, local foliage, interior detailing and the 'underwater' scene too. Excellent work all round!
  15. Sigh... Stressed bricks, unaligned pieces, gaps... Someone please remind me not to attempt SNOTted timber work for the Round 3 guild challenge... /me wanders off to find coffee and rethink the build
  16. Looks good! Really like the feature window on the second storey, nicely done
  17. Thanks all for the positive feedback! Cij Daoke, you are right about the D2 village, although I was actually using Elder Scrolls III - Morrowind more as a reference for the swamp and plants
  18. Or just "Wraiths"? Or "Shrouded Ones"?
  19. I believe it may be from one of the Pirates of the Caribbean zombies.
  20. Legonardo Davidy, Excellent work so far on the indexing And well done to all the builders too. Has been really inspiring to see so many unique ideas and techniques brought to life over the last couple of months.
  21. Wow - The work you do on building ruins is really inspiring. And I really like the wake on the ship in the first shot - a nice realistic touch Lord Darecold looks meaner than ever, would not like to get on his bad side!
  22. Love the colour use and overall design - it strikes a happy balance between Mitgardain styled architecture and the functionality needed in the Kaliphan environment. I like the subtle way you have done the road and the detailing on the tower too.
  23. The carriage is great but for me the stand out feature is the trees, very nicely done. And I like the landscaping of the snow and hill too - very realistic and subtle, and does not draw attention away from the carriage. Great work all round.
  24. Love the idea. I was hoping for something similar for Town/City where multiple small town houses on a 16x16 plate could be purchased and stacked alongside one another. But this would be much more fun Very nice little builds, if these were available I would probably not be alone in wanting to clear the shelves
  25. Love the idea, layout and build. The details in the crowd are particularly nice, as are the bollards on the arena fencing. Very Avalonian and you have done an excellent job of conveying the excitement of the moment in your build. Great all round!
