Thanks everyone and congrats to all the other participants! I had a great time participating, and definitely wouldn't have come up with any of these builds without the contest. I loved seeing the creativity from everyone else!

Presenting my faction for the summer faction contest! Many years after the UFO faction existed, a small team of scrappers came on some of their old technology and adapted it. As they worked with the old UFO parts, the UFO collective was born. The UFO collective was born out of my desire to use some of the large, weirdly shaped parts from the '90s UFO sets, but with a unified color scheme. The colors for the factions are based on these parts. Primary: Light gray/light bluish gray Secondary: Silver Orange Bright Light Orange Transparent: Trans-Orange With black accents on printed parts/wheels. This picture really stretched my photo setup (my backdrop isn't that big), but here are all of the MOCs I made as part of the contest. All space factions need a base, and the UFO collective is no exception! This is a small rocket outpost, with only a landing pad and garage. It was super hard to photograph, since my photo setup is fairly small. I ended up rebuilding it to fit on my white backdrop. More photos

Presenting... The UFO Collective Crew! Back Row (L->R) -- The Twins. Tech specialist and Team Leader Front Row -- Demolition Expert, Mechanic, Pilot, and Rock Monster Those six figs are the crew, and I hope I don't get disqualified for including Pinchers, the pet hermit crab.

This Recon ship is designed to bring a single pilot extremely long distances very quickly. Capable of warp, the vessel is equipped with a long-range transmission array to transmit intelligence back to home base. Primarily a scout ship, it has only light weaponry to discourage attack, preferring to run rather than fight. More photos available here.
