Yeah, take a look here. This also goes for bricks ("single" ones like 1x2) I know that the left one will be older. But I want to know when the change was made. E. g. I own The Black Pearl. Unfortunately all bricks are in one huge pile with thousands of other ones ranging from 1970 to 2025 If I want to sell my Black Pearl, I want it to be as original. Not mixing new and old grey is super simple. But what about the (un)filled studs. Also what comes in my mind what can be important are the modified 1 x 1 with U Clips; it doesnt stop here as all plate with clips have more and more variants. It doesnt stop there as I have to be careful not mixing reddish brown and (old) brown. Super annoying...

Hi, I have a bunch of LEGO. The plates and bricks are looking the same at the top, but from the bottom some pieces have filled tubes and some dont. That applies to bricks and plates. I have read that they changed it to minimize plastic and save money. So my question is, when did they change it? As I want to sell my old and new LEGO. Does it make a difference? Should I be careful not to mix them up?

So I have bought a pile. But unsure what this colour should be. I dont think it is faded as I have a bunch of pieces with that same colour. bluish gray, light bluish gray, dark gray???, light gray The top piece is only be found in dark gray

What are the best lamps for Lego? I have trouble to sort old and new brown and also old Grey with light bluish grey. My eyes are hurting. Best light is daylight but I need a huge lamp to see everything?

Hi, I am owning the Eagle Command Base. I would use the smudged one for older sets. It represents that era. Same goes with the yellowing or discoloured pieces. If you replace all with new pieces it does look shiny, but somehow "fake". Still dont know what to do. Maybe order one sheet and compare? Also big questions, where do I get the rope? You mentioned it. Is this also somewhere cheap to get?

Yeah, I dissambled it. At the bottom there was a 2x2 jumper, the pillar was connected with a 3L technic, which doesnt even fit into the pillar bottom. So clearly some custom illegal build :D Thank you! The other builds, no clue?

The problem I do have is, that bricklink should be held responsible and do something against this. Those stores rip off inexperienced customers, who dont know better. 7049 should be correct. The two lime jumpers should been for this set. Dont know why they were placed with a golden brick. Didn´t find anything like this combination (lime jumper & gold 2x2 brick). Bottom right and the two others left; I made a new picture. Yes it is a black chair und a support pillar.

They dont have that many sets in stock and are also quite expensive, aren´t they? Looks like they also use vinyl/PVC as brickstickershop... But LEGO one´s are thinner, different material I guess

Hi, I am missing several stickers on different sets. Anyone has used replica stickers? Comparing prices with original from bricklink is huge. Read some reviews but not much.

I dont know yet. It is complete and in a mint condition, especially the sails and the minifigures, it wasn´t played with, but no gear and no box. Was thinking around 500 Euro @all Thanks for all the input from you guys. Have decided to sell them.

Hi, I am owning those two sets in a mint condition. I am debating to sell both. Now as LEGO will announce a new Black Pearl, I am wondering if my set will decrease in value? What do you think? Everybody probably wants the new set with 3000 pieces. Thanks :)
