Hello again Pirate fans! *sweet* It is time for another Minifigure Review! :-) Review: Captain Ironhook This Pirate was only ever featured in two sets, 6261 Raft Raiders and 6268 Renegade runner which were released in 1992 and 1993. I tend to view him as a bit of a wannabe captain, for he has no peg leg, much of a crew and generally is less known than the mighty (and rather stereotypical captain) Redbeard! He has a pirate hat, a torn shirt, complete with knife, and plain black trousers. Only himself, Redbeard and his identical twins ( :-D ) have Pirate Bicorne with skull pattern on, which again makes him more unique than other pirates. Overall, I think he is a good minifigure for parts, but he is still no Redbeard! X-D A peg leg version is found in three sets: 6278 Enchanted Island, 6292 Enchanted Island and 6264 Forbidden Cove. So what are your views of this figure, what do you like or dislike about the appearence, the colour, the parts, and the sets he appears in? Edit: Thank you Mister Phes for correcting me.

Really? Is it worth buying one, if the quility is similar to Lego?

I just call em "treasure packs!" as most of them come with some treasure chest in which the pirates and Imperial or Armada soldiers are fighting over.

Nice!! I don'tthink I will be using this method soon as I prefer normal legs, however these are great brick built ones!

Jeez! They would not win the figurehead competition, look, she be missin' it! |-/ Still the metallic swords look nice, or at least I think they are shiny!! Their are slight differences, but I heard that the quality is poor and the bricks do not fit together well!

Nice review, it is interesting how things change between regions! I never played SMB2 :-/ or DDP |-/ , but they both look fun!!

I like the sound of these sets, however as Vader said, if it is from Wikipeida, don't go jumping to the conclusion that it is actually true!

First off, congrats on passing your exam, and good luck in finding a new job!! *y* Now, on to the fantastic ship! It's gonna be huge by the time it is finished and is looking good at the moment! One small thing though, is that I am not super keen on the colour scheme though whether it was bright ink with yellow polka dots, it would still look pretty impressive!! :-D Also out of curiosty, how much money have you spent on it, thus far?
