Classic Lego Town Car for under 6 euro
Lord Of Pies replied to Minifig Lecturer's topic in LEGO Town
Looks just like the classic cars! And its cheap too! -
I was under the impression that r2d2 was a Dalek wannabe!

General Casewindu: "We are making swift progress, the door has finally been opened. We are running low on supplies already however, so we will need to show are faces and get re-supplied from somewhere soon. It seems that whatever the Rebel scum has behind that door, they did not want anyone to get to it."

Theoretically it fits, its just my crappy cutting that did. I rushed that one as an example. And the camera brings out the worst of tiny errors or marks, for example the map doesn't actually look that pixal-y!
-
At least you happened to have found one! I have had no such problems actually. I think I have one odd piece I remember it, but whether that was caused by myself when I was younger or TLC I will never know. (or remember) ;-)

I like it, your emperor Dalek looks good, but can it fold down in to a normal Dalek shape? The console looks good, but possibly a bit on the small side, as I remember it in the latest series it is a bit bigger.

The Pie-plane Bi-plane
Lord Of Pies replied to Lord Of Pies's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
I have changed the back wheels, so they are less chunky. I think I will be continually updating this MOC until I need the pieces for something else, the way it workd usually is: MOC gets constructed >> MOC Is finished >> MOC has bits and pieces changed, to improve it >> Some bits are taken off for other MOCS >>MOC gets totally destroyed .....And then a new MOC is built! This cycle lasts for about 1 week -3 months. -
As is this one: The Dragon Fortress Review.

How dare you! :-P :-D A very nice vig, fellow pie, I think that the red and gold goes very well together the Roman figs look very good, and the portcullis is effective, and looks good. I use spears facing down usually for a portcullis, but your way looks better! I unfortunately cannot make your sig fig, I do not have the right head piece, so far now we will have to live in harmony. :-( X-D

That was random yet funny! I see you did sorta go with my suggestion of a stand in the end! Good job! *y*
-
Thanks! About it being a bit to detailed, I am going to experiment now and see how they look! Edit: Update! (note, that it is not stuck on to the tile)
-
I think I might have fitted to much detail on to my British Isles maps, I have a bad feeling it might end up as a splodge! Edit: They look quite good, here is a pic (note it is not stuck on)

I think it is a very good first attempt, the background looks good as does your ship, however water around the front of the ship does not quite look as good compared to the rest of it! Keep up the good work, I say! *y*

Indiana Jones flags for your creations!
Lord Of Pies replied to Col. Whipstick's topic in LEGO Licensed
*On topic* How long does each flag take you on average to make Col. Whipstick, just out of interest? Thanks :-) -
I have posted my first batch of minifig maps, this time of the British Isles.
-
Well, having seen Col. Whipstick's fantastic attempt at making maps that are able to fit official TLC ones, I decided to make ones for the British isles. It took a while, about one hour or so, but I feel that it is quite accurate as far as borders and general shape goes! Their are maps showing English borders (pre-1707), Scottish borders (pre-1707), The Kingdom of Great Britain (1707-1800) and The United Kindom of Great Britain and Ireland (1800-1922). Thoughts/opinions/comments/criticism welcome! *Special thanks to Col. Whipstick for letting me use his template*

The Pie-plane Bi-plane
Lord Of Pies replied to Lord Of Pies's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Thank you for the comments! @Exobuilder: I was going to tell you in a pm but I totally forgot! *wacko* @Batbrick: I myself like the non-studded look, but I suppose it is down to opinion. -
Looks like some has the new 2008 sets: Click!

Personalised/Customised Flags of Members
Lord Of Pies replied to Col. Whipstick's topic in Pirate MOCs
I thought it was established in 1933 by the USSR to defend Soviet territory in the Arctic circle, however it was renamed in 1937 as it was previously called the Northern Flotilla. It was once again renamed in 1992 to what is is known as nowadays; the Russian Northern Fleet. -
Happy Birthday! Glad you had a great day! ;-)
-
I will post my maps I have made tomorrow, they are of the British Isles and are on my brickshelf.
-
Wow! Those must have taken hours to perfect!! Thanks for sharing those! I especially like the Geonosis diorama, it look amazing!
-
Thank you for the pictures! So their is a structure at the back! Oh well, I did not really expect Lego to make it so it could balance. The trolls look good, and I might finally be able to get a double sided face with this set! The trolls are running the wrong way but that can be easily solved. Overall a good set! *wub*

Soulcalibur IV to feature vader and yoda!!!
Lord Of Pies replied to mutley777's topic in Culture & Multimedia
Looks pretty cool, playing as Yoda will be funny! I have played Soul Calibur games several times and I enjoyed it very much! -
Quite so! I voted pirates, as you will have probably guessed!
