Same for me, Argos is the closest toy shop to me. Well apart from Woolworths, but their Lego selection has been going downhill for years. I wish Argos do have the new castle sets, I really want to get troll assault wagon, or whatever it is called X-D . On the plus side, Argos (online at least) are still listing the Skeleton prison Carriage as half price. *wub* -
We have them in Surrey, UK, sometimes I can see an incredibly bored looking policeman opposite my house with a rader gun. Anyway, if one looks at 7739, the women on the boat in the background who is being chased by a shark (looks like the old mould not the possible new agents shark mould!) looks af if she is about to jump overboard! X-O

V-LC-02A My latest MOC I present to you is a 10 wheeler Lorry, which I made about 2 years ago. I was very proud of it at the time, and I still am, but I feel that I could improve it, if I took apart the cab and redesigned the underneath. The lorry (or truck for everyone outside of Britain! :-D ) has under gone several renovations, but the time has come to destroy it, for I need the parts for my latest super-evil Lego project! A view from the front. Yes the photo is terrible, I took these photos quickly before it was destroyed! The cab, complete with badge: The trailer opens up: I got jogged when I took this photo, so it is blurry, but you can see that it is able to navigate the tightest of turns! Another view of the cab: Their is ample storage space inside the trailer. (As long as you aren't transporting those pesky 6-wide cars! :-P ) Exobuilder and Agent Rick engage in a vicious duel! "I swear I looked both ways before I crossed!" And finally a sneak peak at my next MOC, a main street style crane! "Exobuilder, you nincompoop! I'm not supposed to be the piata!" Comments/criticism/ thoughts welcome!

Can I still enter?

Me too! 8-| I find it rather absurd, the schools behaviour. I wouldn't be surprised if the children started building the "Union of Soviet Socialist Bricks", complete with the soon-to-be Lego Soviet soldiers patrolling the streets!

I'd wouldn't really like to see American civil war sets particularly for several reasons. Firstly Like Satrwars4j and several other members have pointed out, I cannot see a big international market for one countries war. Secondly, generally in Lego, their are a good faction, who exist to bring peace to the world and a bad faction, that is evil and wants money or power (Lego pirates, Castle Skellies), however for the American Civil war their would have to be two good sides, which is different to previous themes, and probably wouldn't really fit to well, unless TLC made one side the bad guys! But the English Civil war, now their a theme Lego could do.... :-P X-D

That was funny, a good use of the new Indiana Jones set, but wh I am the one who needs to crash head first into a barrier! :-P X-D The ending was crazy, Batbrick in panties: arghh! X-O Great comic, and thanks for featuring me!

I bought 9748 Droid Development Kit for $4 (a 96 percent discount) with a box, with all pieces included at a charity shop about a year ago.

As have I it is not brilliant, but I like it! Edit: I have a slight problem, I started to build my entry a few weeks before the contest however by the time it was finished I had intended to enter it in the competition, so does this mean I will not be able to enter the MOC?

New Ferrari Formula 1 System Racer
Lord Of Pies replied to Kowakian Monkey-Lizard's topic in LEGO Licensed
'Tis reminiscent of this old set: I like it! At first when I saw it I thought it was to blocky and not sleek enough but the shape, the more I look at it though, it seems to be just right. Shame about the lack of white bricks, as that makes the car more realistic. (cigarette advertising has been banned) -
An update of the maps: This time the maps only show the borders of England and Scotland.
-
Thanks for commenting. I am a bit disappointed people didn't like the political maps, as those took a while. Maybe Europe was just to crowded with countries back then! Here is a quick redo of the British Isles showing the political borders of England and Scotland:
-
The idea was not mine, all credit goes to Col. Whipstick for that! I noly helped woth the measurements a bit. X-O

Thanks for the comment Mr Tiber, I am glad you like them. @Captain Ka-boom, I am sorry you do not like the maps, do you prefer these:?
-
Well it is time for the second batch of maps, made using Col. 's fantastic template. My first maps were those of the British Isles, this time however I have made ones of Europe, including political maps of early 18th century Europe. The maps are made so that they are able to replace TLC made maps, printed on a 2x2 tile. As you can see I have not made many, but I will be adding to these every other day, with different time periods. Enjoy! Comments welcome *sweet*

I can ensure you that unless looking extremely close to the maps, they look fine! I am just finishing off maps of Europe now, and should be able to post them tonight.

Happy Birthday Captain Green Hair, Username Taken and Enoa

Arrggghh is for remember to have a good day! Happy birthday! -
Your mods are amazing, Batbrick, a vast improvement over the previous models! I always thought that the batmobile needed some covering over the engine, and you have achieved this well, and your SYSTEM bat mobile looks much better than the original set. I like your batcopter, though I am not to keen on the large black dish, I think it is to big, though that is probably just me being picky! Lastly, I like your Mr. Freeze, a simple but good improvement! *y*

The Pie-plane Bi-plane
Lord Of Pies replied to Lord Of Pies's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
The only time I ever get to post pics unfortunately is on the weekends, when the sun is shining, which isn't very often here in the U.K! *sing* I have not made to many changes so don't be to excited. And about my sig figs torso, it has survived a few years of heavy playing, and the cemera makes the torso look worse than it actually is, to the naked eye the marks are barely noticeable.
