The old factions were so nice! This is a shame Lego gave up almost all of their own themes for licenses. I really wish they'd relaunched the Classic Castle one with peasant life, forestmen and all the surrounding factions in a modernized version, with a variety of sets!

It makes me very happy to see that people still remember about the faction of our childhood. In my imagination, this is exactly how I pictured Basil's castle! 90' Lego themes were the best ones so far.

When I was younger, I was so obsessed by Lego vegetation that I used to have dreams about looting exhibits to get them (I never stole anything in real life!). I was always short of them, and they were hard to come by through the sets. When I see this kind of creation, it brings back memories!

I visit this site very occasionally out of nostalgia. It makes me feel so happy when I come across a a theme that lulled my childhood! I just signed up to thank you for bringing my childhood fantasies to life. Can't wait to see what happens next! PS: But where are the golems?!
