I think that Rex is going to die and Appo is going to be immediatly promoted to Captain, then proves himself in battle and Anakin suggests that he is promoted to Commander. Can't seem to find the vid of "Carnage of Krell" on YouTube, can anyone tell me what happened? I'm dying to know.

No, I'm pretty sure it's from a LEGO blog that confirmed LotR, but I admit that they may have gotten their stuff from that page. Oh well, at least we got confirmation from Mirandir that there is going to be a new theme. I'm still crossing my fingers for System Heroica!

Yes, but then it would be up to the Party Leader who gets more scales, and that could get even more confusing. I think tha the best solution would be to have the scale be something like this: Scale (WP:_, suitible for all classes, can be merged with weapon for increase in weapon's WP equal to the Scale's WP.) Would that work? I'm really puzzling over this one, as I really want to host a Quest, but I need to figure out all the details before I begin.

Agreed, both points. I really would like to see some Mistika-esque vehicles, as those were some of the best Bionicle brought. Though, if TLG's stance on HF is anything to go by, it will probably be a Rocka Car.

Unless it's similar to the old Vikings theme, with each set having a large monster and minifigs to fight it. If that would happen, though, I doubt that the vehicles, if there are any, would be as large as the Vikings theme. Still crossing my fingers for a Heroica System theme, though.

Little.....tiny......question for the QMs out there. Can I create a new item, in a Quest that I host, that can be merged with a weapon at a shop within the Quest or at the Marketplace? I was thinking something along the lines of a Dino scale that can be merged with a weapon to cause an increase in the WP of said weapon. For instance: Weapon WP before=3. COsts 50 G to merge. After merge weapon WP=4-7, depending on the level the beast that the scale came from was at. Would this be acceptable?

Unfortunately, same aforementioned blog only mentioned a LotR video game in the works, no real confirmation. The blog has been confirmde right, though, but in a different way. There is a LotR video games in the works, but it is not LEGO. If the rumour of the Monster Fighter theme is right, anyone else think it will be a continuation of Heroica? That would be one of the best themes EVER!

We understand. Imagine how much TLG hates Grogall and kriskelvin though. We'll find pictures eventually, and then TLG won't be able to do anything about it! Muahahaha!

Unless it is just 'new' as in being a continuation of PQ? That could account for it, though I agree on the Ninjago front. It also would make the fans of PQ happy, as they have been wanting a new theme for the characters of PQ for a while. I agree with ALgernon though, this thread may be a bit premature as there is no news, at least not yet. I'm hoping Mirandir will at least tell us something about it, or some random Google search or suchlike will turn up some news.

The first one is alright, but it looks a bit...off to me. Perhaps seeing it with a cockpit would change my perspective. The second ship, though, that's a beauty. I can't wait to see it finished.

I agree, but the only way I can see it happening is if the Summer wave has Stormer, Nex, Bulk, Stringer, and the new guy. That would get rid of the 'usual suspect', Furno. Not to say I wouldn't love a Lilac hero, though.

My emotions upon reading this, in order:

Creator and Castle. When I first found LEGO in 2005 and became a TFOL, I loved Creator and Castle, and I got nearly every set. Now, 6 years later, as an AFOL, Creator and Castle have been replaced by SW and other licensed themes. Ninjago and Kingdoms put me on the brink of coming back into Castle, though, and if Kingdoms is replaced by the Castle Orcs and Skellies, I will get back into it for those wonderful 'fig parts.
