I actually really like the brick built motorbike set. It’s not going to be a set I’ll purchase (unless I find it on hella mad sale), but I don’t hate it like I thought I would when we first heard it would be brick built it’s a very unique, stylised build - almost porcelain looking - that actually works really well, it looks like a toy and it’s not trying to hide that. I love the recent hedwig privet drive one, but it’s very “cursed ugly cute”, the same goes for dobby and buckbeak. They have this weird, chibi, cutesy style to them that looks very odd and jarring but yeah, this one, it’s stylised so well and comes across very doll like. I feel the only reason people don’t like it is the fact it’s not what they wanted and they have this weird objection against brick built stuff when they could be minifigs instead.

Two more new moulds in the marvel set 11200 baby Stego and a new raptor mould. Think the raptor is the same body as the atrociraptor tho, just with a more bulbous head. P sure it’s still a new mould bc IIRC Atroci was one mould except for the lower jaw Dont see the raptor coming to a JP set tho, but the baby Stego (and baby Petra I posted before) I sure can! the more bulbous raptor head COULD work for a Scorpios Rex, but not sure if they’d revisit that. Maybe they’ll do a rehash of CC S3 to bring back a Brooklyn mini figure if they can’t get the amputee torso to work for her? 🤷🏽‍♂️

An upcoming Marvel set (11199) has a new baby Pterosaur mould 👀

The thought of Brooklyn needing a new mould for her torso didn’t even cross my mind (oops). But yeah the astronomy kid from S27 works! I also don’t expect any new Dino moulds (only recolours) in this wave (new moulds in the next wave) so I can see the budget being allocated to help fund the S27 mould (idk if that’s even how it works lollll)

Was just moving my Lego sets and here is my guess for the 2 upcoming sets Brick built Dino like the fossil T Rex or bumpy, other will be Brooklyn, Soyona + Red Atrociraptor Brooklyn is the only one of the Nuar 6 that didn’t get a Minifig on the first CT wave. I think that scene in the apartment where Soyona was painting her and Red appears would translate well as a Lego set A bit more unsure on a brick built Dino, but I’m positive one set will have Brooklyn and Red if they’re CT sets

I’m not the best with it comes to PPP especially with stuff like the JP series, but instead of a “fossil” set it’s also possible we could get something akin to 76940? The skeleton they used for the JP visitor center set could work as a base for a brick built velociraptor, and a new print of the raptor head in bone could work? idk I’m legit just speculating here

Comments like this make me wonder if people even know what they’re talking about, or if they just want to complain for the sake of it 🙄 She didn’t appear “just in one episode” of the cartoon, she had multiple appearances through its run, and she appeared in the third movie, Leroy and Stitch. There’s also an entirely separate, 3 season, 85 episode anime called “Stitch!” that aired from 2009-2011 where she is featured prominently. The series just isn’t well known because only 5 episodes aired in the US before they stopped, but the entire series has been dubbed and officially released in many other countries (like australia and Ireland). I don’t see why they’d include Angel in the set since what we know, it’s based off the first movie, which she wasn’t in; but your entire statement about Angel being a one off nothing character is completely incorrect.

Only dinosaur we have confirmed for the new film so far is the Parasaurolphus. We got a leak on set which included a prop head for it. I’d also say the T. Rex and V’Raptors would appear since they’re essentially the franchise mascots, but nothing confirmed so far As for the “colossal” stuff, I agree that the sea and sky ones will be the Mosa and Quetz, and the land will be Rex, Giga, Spino, or Titansaur, but we literally have no confirmation on that other than fan speculation. The plot also says the Dino’s have moved closer to the equator since most of the earth has become insufficient for them to survive. We know the Dinosaurs already have accelerated growth hormones, that combined with them moving closer to the equator could have an effect on their DNA and cause some individuals to grow “colossal” and these are the creatures they need, because the plot also mentions they need to collect DNA to save human kind or something, and these Dino’s that have the select growth DNA is what they need. Could end up being colossal Stegosaurus, and the sea might be a Plesi That’s just speculation on my point, but have seen a lot of people say Mosa is !!CONFIRMED!! When it’s not

So this may be a dumb question… i remember earlier in the year we got a leak of set numbers for Jurassic and there was a tonne, but now there’s only 2 mentioned for January? Is the logical assumption that initial set leak was for the total 2025 line up, and the January release only has the 2, and the rest will be in the likely June and/or September line up? honestly I just wanna see Ankylo back. Wouldn’t mind Gallimimus either since I’m missing that in my collection, but I think the Ankylo is the best Lego Dino mould (or Indominus but idc about that that much) so hopefully it returns

Haha, not even 24hrs ago I was considering buying Julian’s birthday party because it was cheap, but then I fell asleep and forgot about it. Glad I held off after seeing the polybag leak wonder if he’ll have a new outfit tho? I do like the shirt he had in his current set, but if they’re going to do a repeat of him in the polybag, I’m sure most Lego fans would want him in new clothes. I personally don’t mind tho

Honestly, they should have held off on doing Celeste until they figured out an arm mould. The standard minifigure arms just don’t work at all… Even if they didn’t want to create a new mould, the Baymax arms could have worked, or even the looney tunes road runner arms. I get they want the figures to be able to hold things, so maybe not road runner, but no way should they have just used the minifig arms… would have set them up for Blathers, as well as the duck and chicken villagers

I believe it's meant to be representative of the van flooding with water when it got knocked off the bridge (the transparent tiles used to me says it's water), but yes, it's not very good at depicting that

Nah they're not in any other stores yet. Has happened before with other set releases, not sure if it's shipping issues or embargo, but they usually get to other retailers a month or so after release

Yeah, there were no rumors about it, it was a misunderstanding. We first heard them being called "Stego look out" and "T Rex trailer" and people just assumed this to be related to The Lost World, since both those set titles are similar scenes to TLW. Which IMO makes sense, even I assumed as much, I just didn't hype myself over it because honestly, I don't care about TLW as a film. Then about a month or so later the proper set titles or descriptions were leaked, and that's when we learned it was an Allo. People just assumed the original poster who sids Stego and T. Rex either got LQ images, or wasn't quiet familiar with the JP Lego sets and mistook the Allo as T. Rex

I’m tired and also don’t feel like going back through this thread, and I’m trying to budget for the upcoming sets based on leaks, and release schedule from previous years, other than the rumoured D2C burrow (and potential GWP coinciding), there likely won’t be a third wave this year, no?

Nah I don't think so. They've licensed the IP out multiple times for spin off titles, Koei Tecmo for Hyrule Warriors, and even the Indie developer who made Crypt of the Necromancer for Cadence of Hyrule. I doubt the licensing fee was that high to justify such a price - I mean, they're also making a Zelda movie. I'd say there are IP's they're way more protective of than Zelda. Regardless, I do think this price is way too high, like incredibly high. 2,500 pieces for however much it costs in your country ($450 AUD here for me), and looking at the set, so many of the pieces are small parts, it's a huge rip off. LEGO Diagon Alley and Barad-dur have ~3,000 MORE pieces, and only cost an extra $250, Diagon Alley even comes with SEVENTEEN minifigures. I was considering buying this before reveal, but for this price, unless it goes on a nice sale, I'm not that desperate not pick it up. I vote with my wallet and this ain't it, fam. I'll stick to my (not as) overpriced Jurassic Park and Animal Crossing themes haha. It's sad, because this is a set I'd love to pick up, but it's just not worth it, IMO.

Obviously I'm just spitlballing here, and things could always change, but it doesn't look like there will be a delay for the film. At first things were s bit iffy with directors leaving and stuff, but casting looks to be going smoothly, and I think they're due to start filming in June (Google says filming dates are June 17th - October 28th). Actually, a report came out just now that indicates they may have already started filming last week. Nothing thus far seems like there would be a delay, but again, things could always change With that, as far the sets next year, I think 1 fossil set and 1 model set are going to happen. The rest probably a mix of CT and the new film

If anyone here is from AUS, Kmart has the Jurassic sets (not bumpy) and Lego city jungle sets in some stores. Seen a few people online show pics, and my two locals have them too stego set is $89 allo set is $129

If anyone is interested, swift rocks on YT has these sets and did a review. I’m not a fan of that person tho, her review is her “meh” and you can tell she’s not really fan and all she says is “in my opinion” every 6 seconds, but if you wanna get a better look at the sets it’s worth a look (maybe watch it on mute 👀)

My thoughts Allo set - this one was what i was looking forward to least. I was excited for the new mould, but hearing how it was just a truck, I’m not really a fan of JP sets when they’re just Dino’s and vehicles… in saying that, I really like this one??? Not sure what it is, but it’s great. Allo looks good, the eye caught me off guard and looks weird at first, but it’ll grow on me edit: just saw on images the Allo mimics the show, with having one orange eye and a “blind” milky white eye - I love the eyes now haha. Great attention to detail Stego - very happy with this one too! Love that there’s more set pieces outside of just a vehicle. But like others have said, it’s a bit sad the Stego doesn’t have articulation, but oh well. Bumpy - Ankylo is one of my favourite Dino’s, and this is really cute! Don’t really have much else to say overall, I like this wave! Much more exciting than the Jan ‘25 wave earlier this year. I also like how they just did 3 sets which are all rather good, it makes the wave a lot less overwhelming IMO, tho that’s just personal preference.
