Well, finally the 3d model is done. And, here is total piece count, this has 1264pcs, more than the jesko. And it shows, the jesko feels really fragile and flimsy. While the Sunnyside Beachshark GTR feels like a brick when you hold it. It is pretty hefty model. The jesko feels like a feather compared to my model:).

Well, i discovered, that the galaxus at website has the 42210 description. So it seems the 42210, will have all the bells and whistles. Like a gearbox and many more complex mechanisms. Now im really exited, after reading the product description:). And, also galaxus at website, has the product description for the 42208:).

Yes, i will publish instructions when this is done:). And im also working on the instructions for the Sunnyside Beachshark GTR. So that model instructions should be ready in about 2 weeks:). And, today i got idea to make this also type 2 compatible. So the car transporter can carry this, so this model will be my second type 2 lock compatible vehicle:).

Well, this idea popped in my head couple months ago. When i was bored and looked pictures of possible build ideas, and after the amazing 8043 mini excavator, i thinked, it would be nice to make another one, so i thinked, the 8071 would be nice mini build... Well, it did not happen. But the 8071 set ideas brewed, in my deepest and darkest point of my head. Until today. Today i found the 8071, at super dirt cheap price, in very good condition in my local internet flea market. So i picked up, this little ancient relic of the past to use as a retrofitting template. And in case you are wondering. Yes, i did own the 8071, when i was a little kid, but it is over 10 years ago, when i last played with the 8071. And last memories i do remember, i did build the b model forklift and played it little bit too hard, and one beam snapped. That was so sad:(. So here is idea plan. 1. Build a working fake v6 engine. 2. Make a distrubution gearbox. 3. Move the Hog knob to the roof. 4. Add a differential. 5. Swap the tires for modern truck tires. 6. Plus some other minor tweeking:). And finally. Have a lot of fun times creating this:). And the 8071, is 14 years old. So many of the retrofitting components did not exist yet. And, if i found this to be really fun to retrofit older sets into modern times. I will update this topic to cover all of my retrofitted technic builds. So have fun with this long ride:). Here is the humble beginnings, for the long ride. And some new components, which i will fit into this model somehow:).

Progress for the instructions. I now checked the page design. And its looking really good, this has so far 450 pieces. And this has more building steps than the jesko, because my gen 1 instructions were bad, and i lissened the feedback. So the gen 2 instructions are simplified a lot, so they wont need a engineering level of education, to build:)

Well the new Sunnyside Beachshark GTRs lock connection is my created type 2 connection to not confuse with the car transporter set locks and here is few things if you have some fears about type 2. 1. Type 2 is my standard and i will use going foward if i make car transporter gang combatible cars 2. Type 2 connection is free to use and i will not profit from it 3. The type 2 is compatible attleast with the jesko Yellow axles shows, where to connect type 2 compatible cars. 4. All my created type 2 trailers for the car transporter have free instructions 5. You can freely use type 2 connection for you builds So hopefully this reliefs you fears, for the type 2 connection. And since its my designed connection. Now i have clear standard, if i make car transporter gang combatible cars. And type 2 allows me to have some flexibility. So have fun, if you want to make or create, type 2 compatible cars:)

Well, trailer is done. That tooked 4-5 hours of building straight, and i have decided, that the connection wich the Sunnyside Beachshark GTR uses for the trailer lock, is called type 2 connection to not confuse with the car transporter set locks. So if i make more car transporter gang cars, they will be type 2 compatible only. Luckily at least the jesko supports type 2 locks:).

Well after looking trailer designs, i founded that the fmx trailer would be great trailer base, and i was right. The fmx works great. I just need to make a lot of modifications. (Ps. i wasn't planning to make trailer. But since i know, customers are always right. And i if would not have made the trailer, i would get a ton of negative comments, that the Sunnyside Beachshark GTR would not fit in the car transporter. And they cant carry this model in the car transporter. So i made the wise desicion to build the trailer, to complete the model. Because now they can carry this model around with the car transporter:).)
