  1. Wait what? The sail barge isn't gonna have like 20 figs?? Is this guy a few pages back that's saying it reliable with this kind of stuff? Like man this seems like something that's a given, if you're a Lego designer and you're choosing to make a UCS/MBS jabba's sail barge, 15+ figs are a given imo, you don't even question that. I don't want to believe they only have 2 or 3 figs on the plaque, no way
  2. Crazy we have stuff this early yet not a single leaked or blurry invisible hand image. I demand my invisible hand now!!! :(
  3. Falconfan1414 on instagram. He does not post rumors. Only actual verified leaks as far as I'm aware. Has never been wrong
  4. Real leaked set names and descriptions. No jokes or speculation.
  5. Yeah actually they could have done a remake of the original mos espa podrace, nice big 1300 piece set with Anakin's, Sebulba's, aldar beedo or gasgano, etc's podracers. Would have been way cooler now that I think about it. Or yeah anything else that's obscure but also cool. Also it was a waste of a slot which the MTT should have taken, it was such an obvious choice for the 25th anniversary
  6. I think Greedo is being a little too pessimistic, but he has a bit of a point and I am a little disappointed with some of these choices tbh. After the weirdness wore off of the falcon I am just beginning to kind of resent it as a waste of a set slot, c'mon Lego could have given us a way better flagship of the wave set, e.g. a playscale battleship e.g. a venator, Imperial star destroyer, etc
  7. Disappointed with the skiff price, and tbh the minifigs are nothing to write home about other than disguise lando. Hopefully it'll look good, ideally for 558 pieces we get 2 skiffs and the sarlaac?
  8. These sound cool but don't his captions for these posts look a bit y'know sounding like trolling/joking? But at the same time this guy doesn't post any jokes aside from April fools so it's gotta be true, right? Yup I agree. How well do they expect some falcon not even based on the movies to sell anyways? Then again falcons always sell but seriously? Perfect opportunity to give us a OT playscale falcon, been what like 13 years since the 2011 one?
  9. It's a pretty perfect mold but does lego still do those rubberized molds that they were so addicted to doing around 2012-2014? I remember we got so many aliens around that time with the rubber parts, also other themes had rubberized pieces too. But yeah you are right it probably was a fake leak especially since it was so long ago, probably way before production could realistically start of the set (probably hasn't even started now?)
  10. Yeah I'm not sure about info beyond the survey, but I think the general idea is that since like half of the survey sets have turned out to be actually coming we could assume the other half are also coming just yet to be officially confirmed by someone like promobricks or max bautde?
  11. Yeah I'd have to agree, the thing is even if you don't like the prequels and think they are bad films, you can tell they have love and imagination and worldbuilding from Lucas. Sequels on the other hand are both bad and have no soul and love put in them imo. I doubt there's gonna be some nostalgia wave for em in 10 or 15 years like we got for the prequels. It's been like 10 years since the force awakens and half the sets have barely appreciated when compared to their prequal and OT counterparts. Numbers of merchandise sold don't lie. Btw guys and gals any news on the MBS/UCS Jabba's sail barge? I heard it was coming out in October of this year purportedly? And wasn't there that pic of the max rebo rubber head piece that was leaked many months ago hinting the piece had been put back into production? I was just thinking about all of this when I was about to rebuild my 2013 sail barge. Unfortunately my fear of brittle brown gave me cold feet and I'm staring at 2 bags of the disassembled barge. Maybe I should sell it, idk.
  12. How well do you guys honestly think LOTR being rebooted in the near future would sell? Like I'm not making an opinion saying it would sell good or bad, but what is the general feeling of how much demand there is? Presumably LOTR ended in 2013 due to the Castle 2013 theme coming around? (like how Kingdoms ended in 2012 when LOTR theme came out) but was it also due to poor sales of LOTR sets? I'm not sure but is there any sales data or remarks made by anyone e.g. former employees, designers? Because we know even though the adult market for Lego is increasing each year, primarily they are still catered to kids, would they like stuff such as LOTR? Especially since the films aren't out I feel like it's hard for kids to make a direct connection to the toys they see on shelves if it isn't instantly recognizable e.g. a fire truck or something they've seen recently in media. I just wanna say though if a full theme came out... as an adult I'd buy every set of the wave, and I suspect alot of other adults who love the films are of the same opinion Perhaps 2012 was too early for the theme to come out, I know they only did it because of the Hobbit coming out that year, and otherwise it might not have ever happened, but me like a lot of people grew up with LOTR in early 2000s, but still were youngish/college aged with little money when this theme came out- the generation that had the deepest connection to the films had the least financial means to purchase the sets. This isn't the case anymore though, as generally as you grow up you become more financially stable settle down etc, now with many of us in our late 20s/30s I think it's a great time for the theme, for adults
  13. I definitely think yeah UCS pricing has gotten a little insane the past let's say 4 years? Like man I remember me and my dad getting Obi Wan's Jedi starfighter UCS from Toys R Us for halfprice at $60 in 2010, like it was yesterday. I take a look at the current UCS stuff, and yeah ok there is a cheap option and a crazy expensive option always available, but c'mon the cheaper option should be something that gets our blood pumping, e.g. the UCS Slave I, Vader's Tie advanced, etc instead of the UCS landspeeder however nice the build may be. Yeah you could tell me we've gotten an A-wing, X-wing ok I admit those are cool but these really push the definition of "cheaper" UCS sets, especially the X-wing being $320 CAD for 1900 pieces. Imo once it crosses 250 it no longer feels like it's worth it for the cheaper option, you feel like you should have just bought a modular or something. Just look at the UCS Slave I, beautiful awesome set, 1900ish pieces for 230 CAD back in the day. With inflation it's 287 CAD, which is past my 250 thing I said earlier, but cmon it's the Slave I of course you're gonna feel good buying a Slave I, but I'm never going to feel good spending 300 CAD for Luke's Landspeeder. Not exactly sure if I was very coherent, just some thoughts in my head to spew out. The upcoming Tie Interceptor is a pretty cool and intimidating ship though, so hopefully it as the cheaper option is worthy of the spend. Oh the days when you could buy a super star destroyer for less than $500, those were the days...
  14. Yeah I would agree sortave, if they have capes or things to cover that though then I think it'll be tolerable. Btw where did you hear that?
  15. I hope we get full 25th anniversary box art, I still kick myself to this day over not getting a single one of the 20th anniversary sets, especially that fantastic Slave I
  16. Dude I CANNOT wait for the Invisible Hand images!
  17. Yeah I agree, I'm looking at you 10176!
  18. Thoughts on what the diorama would be like for that scene? I've been thinking about it for maybe 3 mins, and can't quite figure out what exactly the diorama would be for a let's say 600 piece set. I was thinking that chasm area where maul dies like the earlier Duel on Naboo set from 2017, but a larger version of that can't just use the corner curved wall panel pieces, so whatever the model would be, would take up a lot of pieces I'm imagining. Maybe just 1 wall of that scene, like maybe the end of that red laser hallway and the entrance to the chasm area where maul Qui gon and maul will be displayed fighting? Either this imo or the earlier scene in the duel with those huge bright energy tubes and platforms, but I doubt Lego would have a set with so many transparent pieces just for one set.
  19. Personally I'm excited for neither of these figs. Young Leia I'm not a fan because it's just a boring character to me from a show that I felt just wasn't that good aside from a few moments (e.g. the vader vs obi duel), and Maul I get people like his character and yeah I agree he's cool but cmon we've gotten a lot of mauls over the years how different can this one actually be? He's just getting to be a little stale imo. Like idk a different facial expression? And the body? slightly different outfit but maybe a mix of the 2013 mandalorian speeder maul arms with some generic black cloth printed torso? Maybe I'm being pessimistic but it's just not what I personally wanted, I was expecting something more unique, more cool that we haven't seen before.
  20. Hot take I don't think comparatively Lego is any more expensive than it was in the past. In Canada atleast, I sometimes go through old catalogs from the 90s that I have, and WOW, a 350 piece set for 64.99 CAD in 1997? I mean can you imagine that price with inflation nowadays? Granted sure some of the parts back then were blockier/more expensive to produce but even looking at recent Star wars sets, e.g. late 2000s early 2010s the price trends are pretty similar to the ones now, if not worse priced. If we take into account that there's been inflation and our wages haven't risen proportionally, sure it can seem really expensive, but aside from outliers like the Justifier I feel like Lego is technically the cheapest it's ever been. Does this sound weird or does it make sense, not sure but wanted to throw it out there
  21. Why did I get banned from speaking for 2 hours, all I did was comment on what the other guy said. Like what?
  22. I'm pretty sure Flacon said/implied on the stream that he knows all the 2024 sets, it was near the end of the stream if I'm not mistaken
  23. We just need Renown to give us something to work with...
  24. Yeah, I noticed after I posted here that Empire was just baiting 😭 with that video title
  25. Yeah as much as people are saying the clones don't always have them, if they're putting that pack of 15ish attachments in the boba fett mech set I'm sure they can throw one into this battle back too
