I guess you're right tbh, the only hugely underrated star wars media in recent memory that got a proper wave was rogue one, and that was because it was a movie. Bad batch and andor, I really like em but I guess there just isn't enough demand from the market.

I think we'll get one set for the bad batch, keeping in line with 1 set a season like we got previously. To be honest I wonder why the bad batch didn't get more sets, I really loved the show and imo has more consistently great episodes than clone wars, although tbf I was a lot younger when I watched clone wars so maybe I didn't pay attention as much until the later seasons. It seemed like the bad batch was popular enough to get a couple sets each season, atleast. I can understand for the first season, Lego was unsure so they just did the one shuttle and threw in all the characters, but for season 2 and now the final season come on Lego

Yup I agree now, I am way more stoked now than if it was going to come with only 700-800ish pieces. You can do a lot with 1555

So we can expect the Sail Barge to be around 500 USD with that piece count? I am curious what the 10+ may 4th promo is, being 262 pieces, although I would have preferred to see "4pcs" if you know what I mean

The Death Star playset price is what is making me a little skeptical for a true counterpart to Yavin, 80 USD? Like it might have a midi tie advanced, but the price is at a low point compared to yavin where I wouldn't be surprised if one wasn't included

Who knows, imo it'll be like 3 or 4 rooms, I'm hoping for a mini tie advanced like the death star and a hanger control room, it would be awesome. I'm thinking we get a hanger, conference room, maybe some cell block? Can't really think of another room they would realistically make, the trash compactors been made already

Let's say we get the jabba, which I'm leaning towards to be fair to Lego. Would it be the same mold? I think so? Would it be the same print as the 2012-2013 jabba? Probably not I don't think. Maybe some print that's more "realistic" looking, more gritty and a bit more detail?

The main issue for me is the grey "shadow" on the cheeks, other than that they're good enough imo, although having a few of the 2014 P2 clones makes you wish the old style was still in fashion. Personally I always prefer figs to be their movie versions, not a mix, but it's not really something to complain about.

Do you guys think the tram will be running on normal Lego track, or roller coaster track? Personally I'm hyped as the trains have always been too expensive for me where I live, so this is a good opportunity to have some kind of pasenger rail system even if it isn't motorized. I hope is designed to be possibly motorized though

Finally found the new battlepack in the wild at Walmart, tucked at the bottom of a small shelf along with some other small 2024 sets. I should have just bought it from Lego and gotten VIP points but I couldn't resist snagging 1. The next day when I went back to check, they were all gone. But I really love the set, especially the shock trooper. The new clone style is really growing on me

What do you guys think is our next UCS set after the sail barge? Big UCS set of the year, smaller UCS set of the year, etc. Personally I'm not sure what it could be, the sets for this year seem to be "villain" UCS sets, tie interceptor and jabba's sail barge. Next year I hope we get prequel stuff, e.g. a jedi interceptor or an arc 170, we've gotten alot of OT hero vehicles for UCS (x wing, A wing), so I hope we get some hero vehicles for the prequels. Or Lego might remake prior UCS sets, something like the B wing possibly, whose original UCS model people don't really like.

The Malak is great, and I generally like fives. Why these were chosen for anniversary figures? I don't know and I don't care.

I mean I know you said business, but like I said before there's like 500 of these clone channels on youtube of which I guarantee you maybe only 5% take off and are able to make a bit of money on youtube. The vast majority are teens and young adults whose channels have below 1000 subscribers, and are not making any money whatsoever on vids that I get recommended to me for some reason that have like 500 views. The big influencers are making their money back on this army building somewhat, but these kids that want to army build and see a grey baseplate, that convince their parents to buy 20 501st battle packs for their youtube channel, for 500 bucks instead of a nice birthday $120 wave flagship set (e.g. ghost, malevolence, AT-AT, etc). These are the people that are legitimately being financially harmed, sure it's their own actions but they are definitely caught up in a wave of hype. And yeah I agree the persona of "hating" something instead of their actual feeling being of slight dislike is a social media thing.

Yeah I'm not a fan of the hybrid clone art design and definitely think 2014 clones were the absolute peak, but I'm not going to complain about the new ones. Like the other guy said we've been eating so well in terms of clones. Infact maybe too well, some of us are a little sick. And idk I just cringe a little with all the clone hype that's been created on social media the past 2-3 years, I mean I'm not saying you can't enjoy clones, I enjoy them too but there's just so many people in recent times who have taken up army building on a grey baseplate as their only defining factor, there's like 500 channels on youtube all doing the same thing, with the trap music in the background, worshipping clones. No individuality, just carbon copy soulless channels. I'm not saying Mandr, lifebricks are the sole reason for them (less so lifebricks), but I feel alot of people that are kinda impressionable worship these guys on insta and youtube. Army building was nowhere near this cringe level in 2008, call it nostalgia but those times felt more like genuine passion, whereas nowadays it's more just buying 30 40 battlepacks and arraying them because you saw lots of other people do it and want to do it too, because it's the cool new thing. Maybe you'll agree maybe you'll disagree.

Tbh I like Mandr for his video quality and how he's able to review obscure and older sets, something that most other youtubers don't do. Yeah he whines but I mean no one is perfect and I just tune it out. The helmet holes I don't have much of an issue with although I do understand and think it needs improvement. Personally I think the older p2 helmets were better, the attachment customization thing was never something I did much anyways since I try to stay purist and keep figs like how they came in sets. Waistcapes yeah I do think that actually is an issue, considering their really weak excuses on why it's not included (other themes currently have waistcapes, there is zero excuse about it impacting playability). Print details idc much although I really like star wars, for me, if the fig looks cool that's all that matters, Lego is an interpretation of the source material not a direct representation. I think Fives is fine btw, cool fig. I think greekbricks isn't reliable bro, sure he got that death star thing but he was inaccurate with the size and price right? And also his earlier leaks of the z95 were false. I wouldn't trust him
