can't wait to see the new hopsital.... i hope it's better than the old one... it's was too small.... better call it a clinic than a hospital ;)

pls let me know if i miss out any :) I hv included the 7019 Viking set because, although it is not in the castle theme, it is essentially a castle - for the Vikings.... i reckon the 7019 Viking Fortress is the best and i am going to buy it....it's something refreshingly new.... and lego needs a theme like this.... just can't wait till it's available in shops... the 8877 Vladek's Dark Fortress (2005) comes very close.... quite a few new tricks......although the two big swords at the gate are silly (I just don't see the point), it's still way better than the Castle of Morcia (which doesn't hv a proper "backside") generally speaking 2005 has been a good year for Lego.... the new city series (police/ fire/ construction) are way better than the ones in the 90's and big castle sets this yr is better than last year's. I hope this is a turning point rather than just a nice moment for my adored Lego company.... end of my lecture ;)

ASK HERE How to clean your LEGO sets/parts?
jngunsw replied to jngunsw's topic in General LEGO Discussion
neither will i risk it... thanks for the suggestion anyway you are spot on that the extensive use of stickers mks maintenance more difficult... the late Scuderia Ferrari Truck set is an absolute shocker... i hv never seen so many stickers applied to one set before.... a supplementry question for you mister_phes since you specialise in the pirate theme.... is there any way that you can prevent or even reverse the discoloring of the sail? cheers, 8-| -
Hi guys: I am not sure if this is the right sub-forum for this topic, the admin ppl can move this wherever they see fit... The title says it all... how do you keep your lego sets clean? I hv dozens and dozens (in yr cases, i suspect a lot of you hv hundreds and hundreds) of lego set sitting on top of my bookshelves, TV sets, fridge, wardrobes etc etc.... it doesn't usually take long for them to be covered by dust... Who needs to create snow effects when the city airport or the castles are covered by dust? The most horrible experience i hv had is to hv an uninvited creature "constructing" spider web all over the two masts of my Black Seas Barracuda (i don't hv monkey jumping across the masts, i had real spider "travel" across them :oo I used to use wiper to clean the dust off my lego sets.... needless to say it's time-consuming and highly ineffective.... lately i hv been using my turbo hairdryer to blow the dust off the lego sets.... it's a lot faster (suit lazy ppl like me) n the result is a bit better any genius or expert ideas out there? thx guys ;)

mmmmm.... good question.... never really thought about this :P I suppose it has to be called HMS something.... HMS Conquers, HMS destroyer (doesn't sound like a nice guy ship though).... Do you hv any suggestions? btw i like yr new avatar ;) i will wk on mine soon

you are spot on mister_phes, i mixed them together to mk it a giant good guys battleship ;)
-
hi guys: now you can see my royal battleship through the following link: http://au.pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/jngunsw/a...hCLdPDBdRvJw3gG sori, i don't know how to attach pics here (i tried but it didn't show up) so i hv to do this through a link... basically it's a double deck battleship with 14 cannons... the double cannons at the front can spin around... the upper deck cannons (4 on each side) are fixed, whereas the cannons in the lower deck are shared (in other words there are four cannons in total in the lower deck and they can be rotated and deployed on either side of the ship - those who owns Skulls Eye Schooner will know what i mean.) basically this is an extension of the Skulls Eye Schooner , only i make it into a good guy ship with more guns on it.... enjoy :) btw you can check out my monrail system here: http://au.pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/jngunsw/a...hwyUPDBHqjuwXOe and my police headquarter here: http://au.pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/jngunsw/a...hWzcPDBYfaJ92fJ

hi guys: you can see my police headquarter in the following link.... http://au.pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/jngunsw/a...hWzcPDBYfaJ92fJ sori i still can't attach pics in this forum so i hv to do this through a link.... basically it's a four level building with the special police squash in it.... mmmm... i will put my pirate sets in the pirate/ castle sub-forum soon... enjoy ;)
