I like the NWH set. I’m a bit sick of Dr Strange minifigs at this point but other than that I think all the figures are good other than Gobby who really needed some printed legs or arms or a hood. Really hoping you can unmask the Spideys. Also I know everyone has said it but - Lego give me a lizard!!!! Endgame set is a complete miss for me - I have all those minifigures already and the build isn’t great. The last set with that Thanos (different headpiece) was much better. Best item today though for me is the Iron Man minifigure in the hulkbuster set. Chest and helmet prints are great. Excited to see CMF (mainly Kang) and avengers tower now.

Just back from seeing the movie. That Rocket/baby rocket set was just crying out to include the high evolutionary! Real missed opportunity! Full disclosure - I bought the Rocket set straight after the movie as I’m weak and need Lego to have more of my money haha!

Picking up Gaston and Jafar Genie on Bricklink/eBay asap! I also like cogsworth and lumiere but not sure about the other builds. I also feel these minifigure choices hints that we will be getting the rumoured a Snow White and dwarves set and that a minifigure version of Belle is coming somewhere (maybe castle?).

Iron man is a bit of a dull character choice but at least it’s something a bit different. I’m desperate for Lego to go a bit bigger on Marvel minifigures - add more, different designs, niche characters or costumes. I know Star Wars is likely more popular but it shows that Lego is capable of going bigger on minifigures occasionally. I’m a bit biased as minifigures are probably one of my favourite parts of collecting and building Lego but give me more!!!

Marvels trailer looks good. Like the swapping. Really like Iman Vellani - primarily her flerken reaction. I irrationally hope the Cpt Marvel minifigure has the suit from the end of the trailer. Dark blue - with dark red almost purple and a huge oversized logo/symbol. I assume we won’t get that (for several reasons) but would be nice to have something new for a marvel minifigure. I really would like Lego to lean into more minifigures and much more costume/outfit variety from character that already have 10 figures. I expect just standard Cpt Marvel costume from poster minifig. Hope the set is good. Really need a strong Q3/4 from Lego marvel this year. Short of morbius it’s been dire for me.

Excited about the line up generallly. Mainly Kang and Beast. I feel Werewolf by Night is a bit of a waste as I have 4/5 different wolf man/werewolf minifigures. Same with Wolverine and Storm - as I feel any future X-Men Blackbird or mansion will include both again - to be honest it would probably also include a Beast variant such as in a lab coat. Avengers tower being MCU/Age of Ultron based - makes me feel like we will get a lot of the Quinjet avengers again. Perhaps a new Quicksilver? I feel Age of Ultron has already been well represented with minifigs so doubt there will be any in particular that are totally new.

Excited for Beast and Moon Knight. Bit disappointed with Storm unless we’re getting white suit/Mohawk and Wolverine unless it’s big on arm/leg printing - as we already have minifigures of both. From any X-men I want Gambit, Prof X and Jean. I’m sure we will get all of them eventually but the current release speed of new or interesting Marvel figures seems to be glacial. 12 figures is going to seem such a small number after the May Disney cmf.

Bit disappointed with Danny Devito penguin minifigure. Somehow feel the Lego Batman movie penguin minifigure captures the character better. Either way I will reserve judgement on the set until I see it - hope there are some good minifigures - would love Batman Forever Two-Face but I think that’s very unlikely as people above have mentioned.

Agreed. I had been using the mini doll version as Owl for my Winnie the Pooh set so probably swap the mini doll to Aurora and have her owl join the 100acre wood gang.

Love the new cmf, the Up minifigures and moana from the train. Amazing detail and good character selection. Would love Snow White and 7 dwarves this year and I think I will consider 2023 a very successful Disney minifigure year.

Saw the movie this morning and came out feeling like a 8 year old kid again and wanting all the characters from it. Shame there isn’t much but it has convinced me I need the new Giant Man set (when discounted)! There’s lots of fun characters that would be great minifigures - at least 8 or 9 I would really like that we don’t/never will have including some of the quirkier creatures and vehicles. Real missed opportunity on Kang but he will certainly be coming and I will be buying whatever Lego set he is in first!

Looks like both sides of the cockpit detach to make smaller ships - like the one Mantis is flying around in on the image where the guardians are jumping from the ship at Adam Warlock. Interesting play feature. I think I prefer the Bowie ship on the image on the box as opposed to the other images - seems wider and chunkier at that angle.

This is a good idea. Will be doing this! Sad to say but all feels a bit lazy and simplest it could be. No cosmo or high evolutionary. No gamora is odd as it would be same torso and legs plus cmf head. Quite like how they made Groot a bit different though - was worried would be same as advent calendar/benetar. Anyway I will likely get them all but wait for a steep discount on a 3rd party site - was intending to buy day 1 with some Lego vouchers but will hold until reduced.

I think we’re going to have to wait until the next avengers movie in 2025. Would love a He Who Remains in the cmf but not sure how likely that is.

I am still disappointed the set went in that direction but based on the first description I don’t mind it too much. Not a terrible giant man though mask is a bit off. Wasp microfigure will be a good add to my collection. Will pick it up at a significant discount later in the year.

I think you’re right. No lizard any time soon 🙁 Bit disappointed with the line up though I think one of the rumours involved some of the same old nonsense/concepts from before that we thought were gone. Allows me to just get the guardians sets and NWH. Might even be able to mentally justify Rivendell now. No Kang has disappointed me the most. Was really looking forward to a new great villain minifigure. Perhaps we get He who remains in the marvel cmf. Not sure that’s all that likely unless it’s a large wave like Disney. Do we know based on previous info roughly when the list of who is in the cmf for September might appear? Summer?

No Kang or even updated Wasp minifigure. Disappointed - hopefully rectified soon in next few years but not ideal.

My ideal would be classic lab coat, purple trousers Connors but I will take any new Spider-Man villains I can get and it’s would nice to round out all the No Way Home villains. I like the new Spider-Man Christmas jumper but was hoping for something a bit more exciting for 2023 advent calendar. I think unfortunately it might be another skippable one for me.

I’m hopeful we will see Ant-man set soon. Primarily interested in having a Kang minifigure for my collection! Unfortunate for Lego that the movie’s date changed. Regarding No Way Home I’m forever hopeful - Tobey, Andrew, Classic helmet Gobby, Electro and Lizard minifigures are on my want list. Based on this thread and various Instagram rumours seems classic gobby and lizard may be unlikely. Was hopeful new T-Rex minifigure would lead to a lizard figure but perhaps they aren’t similar enough. Lizard does seem to be the one missed out of merch where they don’t include them all. Hopefully we get some Curt Connors representation soon!

Massively impressed with Rivendell. I’m a bit disappointed with the price point but all Lego has shot up so not surprising. Love the new fellowship figures. Having seen comparison images on Instagram I think they’ve done a good job. Only slight annoyance is Bilbo not having classic hobbit hair, Sam’s hair colour and Aragorns outfit. They just can’t seem to get his clothes right (other than the in his Return of the King “for Frodo” number). Will wait on this a bit as not interested in Brickheadz GWP but hopeful this theme continues. Really would like an official sauron figure… and “ISILDUR!!!”
