  1. We got a system scale '66 Batmobile and a system scale Tumbler back in 2021. They didn't lead to anything and I wouldn't get your hopes up on this leading to anything either. In terms of Reeves based Superman sets, you could do Lex Luthor's lair from the first film (a bit of a stretch if I'm being honest since it isn't all that iconic) and the Fortress of Solitude (which would make for a pretty cool set and would appeal to fans of Superman in general).
  2. Well, that's disappointing. Another Batman '89 set? With another Keaton Batman and Nicholson Joker. If we can't get sets based on the movies we have coming out like Shazam and Black Adam and if we can't get comic based sets featuring characters in those films, can we at least get sets that aren't based on the same three Batman movies? Batman Returns, Batman Forever, The Dark Knight Rises, heck even Batman and Robin? I'm not even gonna bother listing any of the others because we're more likely to get Batman fighting Howard the Duck as a set than even a Superman I or Superman II set. And a Batman buildable figure? Does anyone even like those? Didn't those flop back in 2011. What a bizarre choice. And I'm not getting my hopes up on those other two sets. One is probably that $300 Gotham City diorama that I still don't get the appeal for outside of like one figure. The other is probably for Aquaman 2, which I am admittedly looking forward to, even if it is probably just going to be our third Aquaman vs Black Manta submarine. This theme, man. Even when we do get sets they're still disappointing.
  3. Well, not necessarily. They could make it just a 1:1 adaptation of the X-Men '97 manor. Or they could pull from a bunch of different sources. Who knows. Yeah, before the Fox films, Cerebro was just a generic computer and helmet. But here's the thing. The Fox version is iconic. So iconic that people on this forum literally forgot it was never depicted that way before the films. It's the same thing with Mr Freeze. Before Heart of Ice he was just a generic evil guy with an ice gun who just happened to be stuck in a refrigerator suit because of some accident. In the Batman '66 series, Batman was responsible for his condition. But Heart of Ice was so popular, it became the backstory everyone associated with him. And not even the New 52 or The Batman (TV cartoon, not the movie) has managed to change that. And there are plenty of other cases like that too. General Zod, Barry Allen's dead mom, Two Face's origin from The Long Halloween just to name a few. Not saying Cerebro is one such case, but it might turn out to be.
  4. True. I'm just surprised he's trailing Catwoman and Riddler by 1 in terms of total appearances (unless you count the old Batman theme too, in which case he ties Catwoman) despite the two of them being A-list Batman villains with multiple movies and show appearances going back nearly 60 years.
  5. Anyone outside of Joker, Riddler, Penguin, Harley Quinn, and weirdly Mr Freeze (who has only ever been in the most hated Batman film as one of the most hated villains) seems to get shafted alot. Harvey isn't even the worst offender. That's Catwoman, IMO. We've gotten her twice in comic based sets and only five times in other sets. Which, granted, is more than Two-Face who had 4 appearances in total, but Two Face has only ever been the secondary villain in two Batman films (someone at WB has a sense of humor). Catwoman is one of the big four from the 60's series, had her own film (which we don't talk about), and has appeared in 3 different Batman films. She's up there with Joker in terms of exposure but is stuck behind Penguin and Harley Quinn and only just tying Riddler. And we've yet to see a Catwoman based on either Michelle Pfeiffer or Anna Hathaway, despite both of them being pretty popular.
  6. He looks similarly proportioned to me.
  7. Here's Thanos vs Spider-Man: Here's Lizard vs Spider-Man: Lizard is pretty clearly close in size to Thanos (if not the same size.)
  8. No Lizard? So Lego really just perfected the bigifg mold with 2021's Thanos and said "Ok. No more bigfig. If Marvel makes anyone else of that size just cut them from the sets."
  9. It'd be pretty hilarious if Lego spent the last 8 years fixing the design flaw of a universally hated feature, but then it still didn't work.
  10. Ultrabuilds? Superjumpers 2.0? More pointless vehicles for Spider-Man? Comic Con exclusive figures? There's a lot of exciting possibilities.
  11. SMH. It's hard to believe in this day and age that some people still don't know that supervillains often attack helicopters with their snow-plow beach-buggies. I wouldn't expect any sets based on either Suicide Squad movie for pretty obvious reasons. I just think it'd be cool if they could sneak a DCEU inspired variant into their next Batmobile vs Harley Quinn on a skateboard set.
  12. All I'm saying is that if that's the cost of a Margot Robbie Harley minifigure well, it's not gonna kill me... it's just gonna hurt me, really really bad.
  13. Why not both legacy and new Joker and Harley variants? I'd love to get a DCEU Harley Quinn that doesn't cost upwards of $200 and isn't all that accurate as it is. And DCEU Joker... well, he had some cool desig... he was... he was there.
  14. If Lego is still listening, put me down for all three. Heck. Put me down for The Marauder too while you're at it. I don't care if it's just a big white boat, I'm desperate for some X-Men.
  15. I'm no leaker, but I can pretty much guarantee we'll get sets for The Batman II and The Brave and the Bold. It would also be great to get some Green Lanterns and Booster Gold in Batman sets when those shows hit. Same with any other major characters who appear in those two shows and Waller. (Not that I'd be opposed to an Amanda Waller minifigure mind you, I just think she's pretty easy to make a purist figure for.) Possible. It could also be a mix of legacy Batman film sets and comic based sets. The only thing I'm really expecting is that we'll see Shazam in some shape/form to capitalize on his new film coming out and that him and Batman will be fighting Black Adam.
  16. Just to add to this, there's a rumored Gotham City display piece. There are images of it out there and it supposedly includes Batman, Joker, Harley, Mr Freeze, and Phantasm all based on BtAS. No one knows when, or even if, it's coming out. And there's two sets besides the Flash Batmobile set that were delayed from last year. One of them is coming out this August and given the delays it could be for Aquaman or The Flash. The other, we have no idea if it will eventually release or not.
  17. Maybe someone else can confirm this, but I remember hearing that translucent parts need a different mold than opaque parts.
  18. A new Blackbird in the same vein as the recent Quinjet and Milano would be amazing, but I'm not holding my breathe. I wouldn't even count the X-Mansion as a sure thing yet. I'm just happy to know the Wolverine mech wasn't a one-off thing and Lego is considering X-Men sets again.
  19. They realized they lost the war on leaks.
  20. Yeah, these are pretty much my sentiments exactly. The mansion is supposed to be a huge building and it's got the width. But it's lacking height. If they just made each level a couple of bricks higher it'd look so much better. And the roof could use some help. Also, not a fan of all the studs on the front. A smooth face would help it look much better. And, as long as I'm nitpicking, the one other thing I'd change is I'd make the ground floor light bluish gray and the top floor tan. If anyone from Lego is reading, please include Kitty Pryde. Actually, and I know this would never happen, but since Lego has to know by now about this leak and given that it's still in production, it'd be fun if they did a poll where we could vote on which X-Men to include.
  21. The Brotherhood of Evil Mutants trashed the place.
  22. Yeah, the X-Mansion is ugly. On the other hand, it's Lego. I can just build my own (and already have). Which, obviously, that doesn't excuse the set looking pretty meh. I'm just saying I'm getting it for the figures. Assuming this is actually going to be coming out and this isn't a joke or some step in Lego's plan to put an end to leaks.
  23. A survey? That's... interesting. How does one take this survey?
  24. I'm thinking/hoping we'll get "Brave and the Bold" styled sets. The Lego designers keep saying we don't get DC content because they're not making films aimed at kids. Well, this year they are, so it's time to start capitalizing on it. First up, we just got a Black Adam film and now we're getting a Shazam film. The Rock isn't gonna like it, but I say throw them in a set together. Throw in that blue Shazam and the girl Shazam so we got a Shazam family going that will never ever be completed as per the rules of DC superhero teams. Throw in a big Batwing with Batman. And, just to even the odds for Adam, Penguin with a helicopter. Boom, you've got yourself a $70 set. Next up, The Flash. We're getting Flash and... one of his darker villains who I'm not gonna spoiler here in a film but probably won't get that second one in a set. Throw them both together with a Batcycle and maybe give the villain a little helicopter for the lols. There we go, a $20 set. Still on Flash, we've got Supergirl and an evil dude with a cool beard coming. Throw them in a set together. Throw in Superman. Give Batman a mech suit with some kryptonite blasters. Give that bearded guy a dumb little space pod. You got yourself a $50 set. Next up, Blue Beetle. No one knows who anyone else in that film will be. And that's great. Lego can just go with the classic Batmobile vs Joker. Throw Blue Beetle in that and you've got yourself a $30 set. Now, the only one we're missing is Dr. Fate. And realistically, Lego is just gonna leave it at that. But since this is my fantasy, I'm gonna say Lego heard our cries for a Tower of Fate and rushed that into production. Throw in Batman, Dr Fate, Zatanna, Wonder Woman, and Raven (hey, it's my fantasy, I can dream) defending the tower. Now, who is gonna attack? Klarion the Witch Boy of course, there's a huge demand for him. Throw in a bigfig Soloman Grundy and a brickbuilt Trigon to back him up. There you go. You've got a $100 shelf-warmer. Tower of Fate aside, I don't think my list is too unrealistic of an expectation seeing as most of the characters will be in the limelight this year and Lego will want to capitalize on it.
  25. Oh yeah! $300 Gotham City diorama, let's go! No one knows, but hopefully leaks will come soon.
