Marvel Superheroes 2023 - Rumors & Discussion
Chris10 replied to Clone OPatra's topic in LEGO Licensed
It may be my eyes, but I think there may be another minifig on the very top next to Selvig, possibly a female with brown hair facing backwards. If you look really closely I think you can see a bobble on the roofline where their arm and hand is. It’s been a while since I’ve seen Avengers, was anyone up there with him? Darcy or Jane perhaps? -

I think that’s War Machine on the left rather than Iron Man, the red booster bricks on his feet are normally a war machine thing compared to iron man’s blue ones. Which means the leaked iron man mk 6 isn’t shown. Edit: just saw you already mentioned War Machine, where’s the Iron Man? -

There’s a fourth Chitauri on the base fighting Cap America. I think Nick Fury can just be made out in the quinjet. You can sort of see the grey shirt under his jacket. Ant-man micro fig is in Wasp’s hand -

Looks like there might be Erik Skelvig and possibly another female minifig on the very top. Any idea who’s just to the left of Scarlet Witch? Is it another Chitauri? Trying to think who we can’t see from the previous lists, I’m thinking Wong, Kevin Feige and a couple of the different iron man suits? -

I’m definitely not seeing 31 figures in that picture though, so assume there’s a fair few not shown also?! Edit: looking again, I’m pretty sure that’s Nick Fury in the Quinjet too. The best part is that it has an antenna so I should be able to remove it and make it fit on my shelf after all 😂 the leaked 90cm height is 2cm taller than I can fit! -

90cm tall means it’s 8cm taller than the mast on the Daily Bugle. That’s going to be tricky to display on a shelf! I hope those last few cm are due to some sort of antenna or something that can be removed… -
Modular Building Sets - Rumours and Discussion
Chris10 replied to The Jersey Brick Guy's topic in LEGO Town
Great news! That was my number one wish, they can have so much fun with the interior builds. The site suggests 7 minifigures, I wonder if there will be extra ones to use as part of historical displays? Also I think this news makes the wider baseplate more likely. -

Given the rumoured price to parts ratio on the jet, this would be an easy miss if the same figures are all included in the x-mansion set -

That was my first thought too, there’s no Goliath, but the mini ant-man is still included. That adds fuel to the theory that he was a late addition to the set, and perhaps Kang was replaced after all? -

According to 1414FalconFan on Instagram, the x-Jet set is $79.99 for only 359 pieces, so 60 pieces less than the Marvels’ Hoopty ship. That doesn’t fill me with confidence that we’re going to get a lot in that set… -
That is a much better way of displaying it in my opinion, thank you for rustling this up! Keeping it away from the quidditch shop definitely helps with the scale.
-
I wondered this as well. There’s a door to the shop in the alley - facing Gringotts, but no pictures show any interior, so I’m guessing it’s empty inside?
-
It’s tiny! When you look at the image of it lined up with Diagon alley the three floors of Gringotts are roughly the same height as the Quidditch shop’s two floors! I’m actually really disappointed in this. This was one of my definite sets for the year and I’d been looking forward to it since I got Diagon Alley a couple years ago. Considering it’s roughly the same price as Diagon Alley, which has four baseplates, I expected the building to be much, much bigger in comparison. The interior of Gringotts also seems very cramped! When I saw the rumours of the underground minecart system I assumed it would be a lot smaller, particularly as it would be detachable and hard to display. I’d assumed it would be split approximately 3000 pieces for the main building (similar to a normal modular) and 1800 for the underground. This has gone from a definite purchase to a likely skip for me. I want to display it with my other sets and for me the top half itself isn’t justifying anywhere near that price. I’ll have to hope that they’ll release a building only version in future that is compatible with DA…

1414Falconfan has posted it on his IG account. Looks great but the underground section is a lot of pieces which is a big waste if wanting to connect to diagon Alley!

This theory becomes more interesting given that Gamora is also left out of the Funko wave for the movie too. Even Kraglin and Cosmo got figures. -

Looks like Robin Hood has a tail piece of some sort? Can’t see the tail in the picture but there seems to be a piece between the torso and legs? -

Silly question - but would it not be possible to tell which CMF is which by weighing the boxes? I presume there would be some difference between each figure due to the different accessories etc? -

Disappointed by the lack of Gamora once again. Tempted to get a second one of her CMF and put the head on a spare body from getting two Quills in the new sets, at least then they’ll all match. -

Promobricks saying that there’s some interesting Marvel sets this summer, along with “a return of some old bs that was gone for good”. Any guesses what this means? -

Well that’s definitely saved me about £500! Was so looking forward to the big Marvel D2C set this year, like everyone else I was hoping for Avengers Tower or a Helicarrier. I was even warming to the idea of a hulkbuster after seeing how well they nailed the recent Bowser model, but instead what we end up with is very underwhelming! Between this and the Black Panther bust I can’t see them shifting many units at all. I really hope that doesn’t harm the chances of an Avengers Tower in the long run!
