New LDD Update! 3/26/13

Edit: Got it to work, so never mind. ;) -
Minifigure Head Decoration Palette
Masta' Blasta' replied to CM4Sci's topic in Digital LEGO: Tools, Techniques, and Projects
Did you turn it off and back on again? But seriously, the worst I've ever done is cause the decoration tool to stop working and I add parts on the third surface all of the time. Try removing that line of code.. maybe you just screwed it up. -
Minifigure Head Decoration Palette
Masta' Blasta' replied to CM4Sci's topic in Digital LEGO: Tools, Techniques, and Projects
Either put them on the 3rd surface (the back of the head) or put them at the top of the DecorationMapping document rather than the bottom. -
It is possible to extract the contents of the db.lif found in the LDD Roaming Files.. which includes both the DecorationMapping XML document and Decoration png files. Aanchir will probably have a file up in the LDD Reference topic with all of the new decorations soon enough, though it may take a little time due to the sheer amount of new ones.

I phrased that post wrong, I intended to imply that he isn't an Avenger long-term, not that he's never one. The reason I say that is because I've seen discussion where people don't want him in the movies because he 'isn't a true Avenger.'

I don't really care for the X-Men series, but it could still be cool. If anything, I'd like them (as well as Spidey and the Fantastic Four) to join the Avengers in a Secret Wars movie. That would be amazing.

LDD 4.3.6 is out
Masta' Blasta' replied to Tontus's topic in Digital LEGO: Tools, Techniques, and Projects
I've been able to do this for quite some time now, oddly enough. If you're using Windows 7, it has a feature called 'Previous Versions' that allows you to change it back. Here is some information on this: http://www.howtogeek...ave-your-files/ It is used in The Lord of the Rings sets as 'the one ring' that the story revolves around. It doesn't actually connect studs in reality, only in LDD. -
They didn't, I was suggesting a crossover between MARVEL and Sony, though MARVEL does own the merchandising rights.
-
Does anyone think that there is relevance in the possible MARVEL/Sony crossover, with the Spider-Man universe being set in the MCU? Marc Webb's "think bigger" comment about the Spidey Universe has really started some speculation. Marvel has been attempting Spidey eastereggs ever since they got the merchandising rights to him, including the ESU shirt and the OsCorp tower that was supposed to be in the Avengers cityscape. Let's not forget the Target commercial featuring both Iron Man and Spidey together, either. I'm hoping this is true, even if it simply results in a ten second cameo. Sure, Spidey isn't an Avenger, but he would be great in the storylines they're laying out. I guess we'll have to wait and see.

I'm glad to see some of the parts I wanted made it in! Here are the ones that didn't, but I still think should be added.. most being Marvel Super Heroes parts. http://www.bricklink...asp?P=10908pb01 http://www.bricklink...tem.asp?P=10154 http://www.bricklink...tem.asp?P=10124 http://www.bricklink...asp?P=10121pb01 http://www.bricklink...tem.asp?P=10127 http://www.bricklink...tem.asp?P=10126 http://www.bricklink...p?P=973pb630c99 http://www.bricklink...sp?P=970c99pb01 http://www.bricklink...tem.asp?P=87817 http://www.bricklink...asp?P=98588pb01 http://www.bricklink...tem.asp?P=98592 http://www.bricklink...tem.asp?P=98593 http://www.bricklink...tem.asp?P=98596 http://www.bricklink...tem.asp?P=98604

LDD 4.3.6 is out

My thoughts exactly. -
I do think it is odd how you cannot close LDD while on the opening screen, Takanuinuva. It can be pain sometimes.

LDD 4.3.6 is out
Masta' Blasta' replied to Tontus's topic in Digital LEGO: Tools, Techniques, and Projects
They exist within the program, but haven't been implemented into the decoration tool or palette yet. Aanchir is extracting them and placing them onto pieces as we speak, I assume. -

I can't believe the Iron Man visor wasn't added, yet the helmet was. Oh well, at least there are plenty of other exciting additions! -
I used to own a LEGO pen and I had various issues with it as far as quality goes. For one thing, the parts on the minifigure offered thinner, more breakable plastic than the norm. The arms were compatible with a normal torso, however, but were extremely loose and normal minifigure hands wouldn't fit into them. I'd stay away from LEGO pens if you want them for parts.

Brilliant, Oky! I think Julia might work better with black arms and white hands, but that's just a personal preference. Also..

Lego Superheroes 2013 Rumours & Discussion
Masta' Blasta' replied to CorneliusMurdock's topic in LEGO Licensed
Secret Wars set? More like heart attack.. I wouldn't mind Iron Man in flat colors if they're to do the classic, but I doubt that will happen even if comic-based sets are made. -

Still, I wonder why they didn't just use a lighter shade of gold like Light Pearl Gold? Perhaps it is out of production (?) at the moment and this is the only color they have at hand. Creating a new color for a single minifigure would be a huge pain.
