No offense, but shouldn't the comics have their own thread? EDIT: Comics from 2008 containing images of Bionicle characters don't belong in a Bionicle 2008 Images thread? -JINZO

What color is the phony-Keet? On a similar note. There was an Avak-fake that was in Green with green claw feet I saw in Tyranide's B-shelf folder. It would have been nice to get those feet in that color. Not that I support those guys, but hey Lego make some of those parts in other colors will you?!?! ;;D

D'oh! Didn't mean to post yet. -
Won't that just get them mixed up with the blue pin/axle adapters? They could have gone with Green or something. Yikes! I just hope that if they do, it isn't at TRU. I too hate red very much, however I have no problem whatsoever with Silver, Purple or Green in any combination. Those colors don't kill the eyes, or set off tempers like red does. Colors do effect one's emotional state more than most people realise, and red is an angering color.

Easy, Inika Jaller. She has that heart-shaped face, and a one-piece Blingkini. Let alone red, a very feminine color. There are only 3 situatuions that guy wears red. Any one or more of the following: 1. Uniform requirement. 2. He's gay. 3. He's a pimp. ...some may bring up Santa Claus, he falls under #s 1 & 3. Red suit, lined in White fur and frequnetly mentions Ho's. Sure he lacks a pimp-cane but come on. Think about it. ;;D As far as the new ones go, only 2 of the canister sets have things I hate about them. I'd like the red-guy if it weren't red, and Krika would be perfect if it weren't for the red crap marbled into that Milky White. Krika must be trying to make it easier to find her, and hit her. They should used a more swampy color like that Metallic Olive Green they haven't used in forever. Also Vultraz set's driver is red :-X , though the vehicle and mask-shape look very sweet. As far just don't like very much is the lack of weapons for the Blue and Black guys. The only Titan I like very much, awesome complimentary contrast in the coloring. Those giant overpriced vehicles aren't titans though. Plus they look more like train engines, with rockets slapped on, plus a few fins and/or turbines. It would have been waaaaaaaaaaaaaay better if they'd made them as rahi-steeds instead. Heck if they wanted them to be that big of sets, they could even have had a team of rahi pulling a large wagon-like command platform. Oh well.

Orange one? I've only seen a red one, a Blue one, a Lime one, and a White/Pearl one. That would be waaaaaay better if that red one was Orange instead though. Unless it's just lighting makes it look red. :-X Yeah. The same thing goes for water as well. We only got one Titan rahi out of that season. What a sad waste. Gadunka was awesome at least, but it would have been nice for some smaller rahi sets though. Pridak's feet would have made nice fish bodies if they were available in other colors, in Dk-Green it would even make an awesome croc head.

I didn't mean that, inthat way. If I remember correctly, it was awhile back Suckadelic was making those a in very limited quantity, and was only charging materials + shipping, and only to other group members. Not for profit. Unless I'm just thinking of a different member's custom.Hmmmm, not sure now. I'll have to go and search the messages again. Another guy did a complete Mini- Endevour. Sorry for going so far off subject. D'oh! I just hope that some those prototype's colors get change a bit, and get improved. For instance, Vultraz would look waaaaaaaay better if he were Purple.

Zsotlogl, Herald of Serene Fury [black fantasy]

I'd love to have that one as a set. It's awesome. -
First off. Not a bootleg at all. She is a custom Micronaut that is exclusive to members of a Micronauts yahoo group, that I am a member of. ;;D That's not what a bootleg is. A boootleg is when a less than reputable company copies molds and tries to pass their stuff off as legit. This guy didn't do that all. He made custom molds of his own, and states it as a fan-made tribute. Much like a solid 3-D fanfic. Don't take this as an attack on you, I'm just giving the facts.

I was happy to see the light-bricks go. If they were some other color than red, I would have liked them. But hwy in the summer '06 were all the sets huge and expensive? Also, why so many TRU exclusives? I hate that. I wouldn't mind then if there was one anywhere near me, but nooooooo.... ;;D They could've at least had alternates on web site. But my guess is they just got lazy. The combiners at least returned in '08 though.

Hmmm... Iy's hard to pick for me. The only 2 I don't like are Antroz and Icarax.
-
Odd. On the rare occasion they actually show-up on shelves in this area, they sell out that day. The only Exo-sets that didn't/don't are those really expensive humongo-sets. I really believe those are what killed the theme, along with no change in characters.

???? First off. Their first mistake was calling any of the blue ones female. Not one of them ever looked remotely feminine, unlike all of the red ones, plus Roodaka. Both the blue and black ones still looks awesome to me, though. I can't wait to see better pics. It's annoying the red always gets preffernce, and then they gripe about other colors not selling as well. Try putting the other colors in the foreground then. D'oh!

I like that Makuta mask. It's very Rhino/Stag Beetle with a very Ithorian influence to it. ;;D Still can't care about the red guy, even though the mask is nice, plus Blocko did a better job on the whole shuriken thing. I also noticed that in those smaller pics Gorast and Krika seem to have 3 - arms & 3 - legs, but clearer pics will let us know for sure. Those newer ones have things positioned so one can't tell.

That so reminds me of kids trying to light one another's farts.....
-
Hmmm.... Then again, I do live in Wyoming where people tend go with the UW colors, which are Brown and Yellow. I guess I didn't ake that into account. Many of us Gen-Xers like how Bionicle reminds us of Micronauts on many, but not all levels. Yes even the kids seem to go with their parents' school-spirit. So, now that I think about it, no wonder Brown sells well here. But the stuff with white not selling didn't start until the Barraki. Not sure why that is. I think I bought the only Mahri Matoro sold in our WalMart.
-
????????????????????? I'm not singling you guys out, Harfo & Jinzo. But............. It's just that Brown was hardest ones to find in the beginning of Bionicle, at least around here. I lost interest early because the stores only had the red sets. I can't stand that color. It's a pain in the eyes. I guess it reminds too much of some the horrible eye-infections I had in my early teens, all that blood in my eyes made everything look red. :-X I'm guessing these things differ by region, as what set colors sell better. Because if they went by this area, they'd have changed the color of the red sets long ago. They don't sell here anyway, until the 2006 sets. Now it's the white ones that sit. I'm not saying they have to bring brown completely back, but at least have sme brown in them. Like the head could be brown, for instance. If they're going to use Yellow and/or Keetorange, they should pair it up with Dark Purple, as those 2 colors at least make brown, plus they'd grab the eye with the contrast. As far as tan goes, Dark Tan would look waaaaay better. Ah well......
-
Yeah, it could be marbled. I wouldn't have a problem if it were like Hewkii's(Mahri) mask, I like it. Because of it there more decent actual masks that fit those Piraka heads, and also lots of other uses.
-
Those are from that set-subscription thing one can sign-up for on the Lego site. I forget what it's called, but I think those exclusive to that deal.
-
I'd have to agree with the Barraki: light emphassis on the annoying launchers, no cloning, awesome design ( even the red one was worth getting), awesome Glow-in-the-dark parts. But the Mahri sucked on so many levels: eye killingly bright red ammo and button, nothing aquatic about their look for an aquatic setting, there should been way more pearlescent colors and Transluscent parts. The only positve was the non-cloning issue. If Matoro is supposed to be male, why'd he have womanly hips, and such small feet? The Phantoka are almost as awesome as the Barraki.
-
What's th deal around here? Does everyone ignore official info? Why does everyone refer to an obviosly male character as female (Gali, I mean come on, he's blue, a very masculine color as opposed to red, which is so very feminine. Did anyone ever look at the Inika? Hahli/very masculine : Jaller/the only female looking one), when an official announcement said that the only female in the summer sets would be a Makuta? Unless they changed their mind. Thank you Tyranide for putting those pics up, even though they be small, they're still clear. ;; D

Wow! A Beholder Spelljamming ship. Awesome!

Mmm-mmm, there's nothing like fresh puppy at the lake. Vultraz would look way better in purple. It would be a nice change for some the extra guys to be in off-colors from the main 6.
