  1. Love that C-3PO, it'll look great next to the new R2. No anniversary figure was expected (the one and only consistency between which sets do and don't get figures is that none of them are 18+ sets), but hopefully this'll come with the high quality UCS Landspeeder C-3PO minifigure, since Chewbacca last year did come with a Chewie minifig.
  2. It would have to be either the bunker OR the Ewok Village. They don't go together aside from existing on the same planet, and an MBS featuring both would require too many sacrifices to both locations.
  3. 75392 Droid Factory was just revealed via an ad to pre-order it, it features small buildable figures of R2-D2, R2-KT, Chopper, and an Imperial R5 Unit. It's allegedly the set that will include the Young Leia minifigure. Personally I'm not too interested in it - one $100 buildable R2-D2 set is enough for me for one year - and I'm curious to see how well it sells compared to the large R2 at the same price point.
  4. Agreed. Kinda silly we got a big set reveal on May the Fifth and this trailer on May the Sixth, but absolutely nothing on May the Fourth.
  5. Star Destroyer leaked, only six minifigures (plus Cal) unfortunately Not a terrible design but definitely not great imo, in particular the raised Wedge plates on the front half are pretty ugly.
  6. So they hyped up May 1st for revealing new Star Wars sets, and then literally every other theme EXCEPT Star Wars revealed their August lineups. Classic LEGO...
  7. Or even better, just do an entire light blue minifigure. It looked great on Moaning Myrtle from Harry Potter, and certainly would go together better than a partially-solid partially transparent design.
  8. Thinking on it, wasn't there some obviously fake text leak from a few years ago (I wanna say summer 2021) of some guy saying there would be a $170 Star Destroyer with a Cal Kestis minifigure? Something something "random internet users", something something "Apollo gift of prophecy".
  9. I'd love to finally get Admiral Ozzel and Captain Needa from ESB (they'd go great with the uniform Veers from the meditation chamber set), but knowing LEGO they'll probably be generic unnamed officers.
  10. Wouldn't that essentially just be the 2008/16 Death Star again?
  11. Images for the three summer sets have been revealed
  12. AH, my mistake. I will say that Leia does seem to have two new prints (the eyebrows don't match any existing kid face prints so the head is almost certainly new as well), but otherwise it is quite boring - she really needed a new hair piece as the reuse from the Ghostbusters 2016 set looks pretty bad imo, not to mention the outfit colors are completely off. L0LA would at least help, though even with her this would still be a pretty crap figure (which is unfortunate, as I feel I was one of the few people actually excited for her).
  13. I mean, considering that Anniversary figures aren't related to the set subjects I think LOLA is the one character that's definitely IMpossible. If it was LOLA a Leia fig would already be included and the Anniversary fig would be someone else, like what we saw with R2 and Malak.
  14. Alright. My list (in chronological order) is: 1. Republic Frigate 2. Trade Federation Droid Control Battleship 3. Trade Federation Landing Craft 4. Naboo Royal Starship 5. Republic Gunship 6. Count Dooku's Solar Sailer (this is probably the most obscure on this list, but would be a gorgeous display model if done well) 7. The Malevolence 8. Venator-class Republic Star Destroyer 9. Imperial Star Destroyer 10. Death Star or Death Star II 11. Jabba's Sail Barge 12. Home One Mon Calamari Star Cruiser 13. Lambda-class Imperial Shuttle 14. The Razor Crest I could also see them putting out a wide-release remake of the midi-scale Nebulon-B Frigate, but since the first version of that is fairly recent I didn't include it on the list. I'm also not saying LEGO would make all of these (the Trade Federation Landing Craft and Solar Sailer are more pipe dream than prediction), but I think this subtheme has a fair few years worth of untapped set material.
  15. Huh? That just... isn't true at all. The fact one of the midi ships this year is the Millenium Falcon means that basically any Star Wars ship larger than a single-seater can work in this line, not just huge capital ships. Even if LEGO doesn't branch outside of their current bounds for 18+ sets (the first six movies, Clone Wars, and Mandalorian), there are well over a dozen ships I'd say are more well-known than the Invisible Hand that would make for great midi-scale sets. Especially since the main draw for many people is that they're essentially UCS-quality builds at an affordable price and easily displayable size, to try and say they're as niche as the helmets is just plain silly.
  16. It's nice to finally know the full selection of anniversary figs, but I do find it very odd that Nien Nunb (a character from RotJ) is coming in an RotJ set even though every other anniversary fig is coming in a set they have zero relation to. That said, his inclusion will probably push me to buy the Sarlacc, strange as it is. Honestly, while Young Leia is still a mid choice I could honestly have seen HER making sense in the Sarlacc set - if she was included, the set would include all five major heroes from the Original Trilogy.
  17. I mean yeah, but those are all anniversary figs. We know what all six anniversary figs are, and Nien isn't one of them. Therefore he should be coming in a thematically appropriate set.
  18. I think Motti's the best bet, since you can roleplay him being choked by Vader (and in general that scene is very memorable, being the first display of the Force). My overall minifigure prediction for the Death Star is Vader, Tarkin, Motti, a Navy Officer, 2 Death Star Troopers, a Death Star Gunner, Luke and Han in Stormtrooper disguise, and Leia - plus the known Cal Kestis, of course.
  19. There HAS to be an mistake there, that's maybe one of the worst set ideas I've EVER heard. Even ignoring how bizarre it is to get Shadow over Sonic, who ever wanted just a statue of a Sonic character's head? (Especially with it seeming like the helmet sets are done with, seemingly due to poor sales.) A full-body statue a la the LEGO Mickey and Minnie would make way more sense, or maxifigs like that fake April Fool's rumor. Unless/until we get more info I'm just going to assume this isn't actually the set coming, I just can't see this being real.
  20. Not the most exciting figure in the world, but I suppose out of all the classic TPM minifigs this is the obvious choice to reprint.
  21. Looks alright, I think using light bluish gray for most of the details is an interesting choice. That said, if this is real I think the lack of arm printing confirms this probably isn't one of the Anniversary figures, as so far those seem to get more detail and effort than the average figure rather than less on Vader here.
  22. When the theme of the set is the GOOD guys being BAD, I think it follows perfectly that the antagonistic force of such a set would be the BAD guy being GOOD.
  23. It's literally a DARK Falcon that is also rumored to include figures of DARK Chewbacca and DARK C-3PO, it seems fairly straightforward that DARK Rey is a part of the main lineup.
  24. I feel like it's way more likely for the last Anniversary figure to come with either the X-Wing & TIE Fighter 2-pack or the Escape from the Sarlacc Pit. Not only because so far all four Anniversary figures with assigned sets are from sets based on the Saga films, but also because with how the Anniversary figures clearly have an impact on the minifigure budget for their sets (only two other new prints in Tantive, only three standard minifigs in Sith Infiltrator) I feel like the Dark Falcon's selection is already very ambitious and there being another high-quality figure on top of that seems unlikely to me. I feel like the X-Wing & TIE Fighter said is the most likely place we'll see the last Anniversary figure, just because that would draw people in who otherwise would have no interest in yet another pairing of those two ships.
  25. According to a digital speed build made using the official instructions (by elfimous on Instagram) it seems as though the door section IS separable, though I'm not sure how the door mechanism would work with that in mind.
