We should be getting more info on the D2C and GWP soon as they release September 1st. I'm eager to find out which mini figures will be included and see official photos! Personally, I thought the wedding tent was a lock for the GWP to go along with the Burrow and was surprised when they announced B&B: floo network. This GWP worries me a bit as I was hoping for a true B&B/KA next year. Do you think there's still hope or is this as much as we will get?

I was really excited when I heard about the new Great Hall! Fortunately (price), it did not meet my expectations. The exterior is nice, but the interior is much smaller than I had imagined. The biggest GH ever by LEGO should have all 4 house tables along with the Professor table. The troll and the Fat Friar are the only things I really want from this set, so perhaps a BL order? I love the potions class and look forward to combining it with the potions book and making a moc classroom. The AC is really nice this year. Although, it seems really overpriced: $45 for 301 pieces! I will absolutely be waiting for a sale on this one. They normally have them on sale by Black Friday :) Buildable creatures are not for me, but I do agree that Aragog looks great! The Triwizard Arrival doesn't interest me either. I only wanted WWW in DA (and a new B&B...maybe next year) so MM and O's is a skip for me. I am particularly interested in the D2C Burrow (which has not technically been confirmed) later this year. The wedding tent being the GWP would be icing on the cake! When do we normally hear about the D2C? Is it in summer?

The Bloody Baron being included in the AC would be amazing...Peeves would also be a great option! Since the Fat Friar is included with the Hufflepuff common room (though not much of one), maybe other ghosts will be released along with their common room in the new system? If so, Peeves being included in the AC would make sense. It could also be Professor Binns. Is the theme of the AC known yet, or no? Maybe tomorrow :)

Lego: What are we going to do with all these Sirius’ Rescue sets? Intern: We could post a picture of Hogwarts put together so more people will buy them. Lego: Brilliant! So glad I thought of that!

While we're waiting on Gringotts, this is my top 10 wish list broken into categories... My most wanted sets we've never gotten: 1) Weasley Wedding - lots of characters to choose from and the costumes were great imo. A rare happy moment in DH1 :) 2) The Lovegood Home/Tale of Three Brothers - they could make these as separate sets or put both into one. 3) Quidditch World Cup scene - I really want Fred, George, Harry and Ron in their hats, scarfs, face paint, etc. They could do a set at the match with a Bulgarian (Krum) and Irish Quidditch player - OR - they could do a tent scene with some DE, Barty Crouch, Winky, Fudge and Mr. Weasley. 4) The cave - Dumbledore, Harry and a couple of Inferi would be such an awesome smaller set! My most wanted remakes: 1) Lupin's classroom PoA - I would love for this to incorporate both the boggart scene and the patronus training scene. 2) Borgin and Burkes - while I have the one from 2011, it's rather small. LEGO has come a long way since then and I would love to see what they will do with it in 2024. 3) Hagrid's Hut with Fang and baby Norbert 4) Proper House Common Rooms (each including the house ghost) Diorama: I'm not sure why we haven't gotten any dioramas for HP, but hopefully that will change in the future. For me, it has to be "Always" with Snape and his doe patronus. As for the scene, they could choose from a few. They could do Snape and Lily under they tree when they were younger, the actual scene from the movie with Dumbledore or the lake in the Forest of Dean. D2C: That Burrow we saw leak! Enough said.

Same. I hope they surprise us with one because it feels very empty with only 6 minifigures. However, it would be hard to narrow down what to include as there are enough characters in the BoH for an entire CMF. I think McGonagall with a statue or two would be my first pick (and should have been included in the first place imo), a troll, acromantula or both and Seamus with some dynamite for the bridge build. Aberforth and his goat patronus with some dementors would be cool, but as he will be in the AC, it’s less likely. Hagrid and Narcissa could easily be in a small forest set. Then there are all the other characters such as Ron, Lupin, Tonks, Kingsley, Mr. Weasley, Snape, Lucius, Flitwick, etc.

Looks like there’s no interior on BoH. I would basically call it a 2 in 1. Bridge build with rubble and many wand spell options. Thoughts? I’m really torn. I like it, but was expecting…more. The addition of McGonagall, a statue, and some fire pieces perhaps, would have made it a bit more complete imo.

Honestly a little disappointed EP: Trans blue, huh? Not a buildable creatures fan, so personal preference here. HE: It’s fine, but I just don’t need a train. Quidditch trunk: I was really excited for this, as I wanted a Quidditch pitch this year and thought this may fill that void, but I’m left thinking… $65 for that?! Where is the rest of it? Last year’s trunk had 3 scenes and a ton of accessories, outfits, heads, hairpieces, etc. The back of box images could save it, but if so, I will still wait for a discount. Nice Quidditch uniforms, but as I feared, no consistency with any of the previous uniforms. BoH: Where is McGonagall and the statue? No acromatulas, giants, dementors, DE, rubble action, trolls? So many missed opportunities. Just a fold out facade with 6 minifigures, half of them repeats. This set went from a day 1 buy to a discount purchase real quick. WWW is the only set I’m really looking forward to at the moment. And like I said earlier, I want to get 2 and make it bigger. Dobby: Again, not a buildable creature fan, but this is the first one I’ve actually considered. I might pick it up on discount later on.

When the most recent DA came out, the $400 price tag prevented me from buying it as WWW was the only shop I really wanted. I did not want to spend $400 on a giant set for 1 shop. That being said, this years WWW is the perfect option for me. I may buy 2 and make a larger MOC version. I was afraid the interior would be a disappointment and deter me once again, but I think the interior has a lot of great stuff packed in! I don’t mind stickers nor do I care about the minifigures for this particular set, I just want the location. If the rumors of a DA expansion system are true, this will be the first of many. As for me, I hope B&B is next. The first one is pretty small and I would love a bigger one…hopefully Narcissa will be included.

Dobby’s actually kindof cute lol. I didn’t plan on getting this one, but if I see it on discount later, I just might. Like others have said, it’s cool that it even exists!

Wow, A set without Harry lol. The fanged frisbee Is that a new mold? The puking pastilles girl is cool; maybe bubble boy is inside? The love potion, Arnold, so many cool details and more inside I’m sure. This is an absolute must for anyone who didn’t splurge for DA. I feel like a B&B/KA could be in the works for next year if they continue with the DA buildings.

Nice observation of the hourglass! Perhaps we will get a slug club set or AC next year with young Tom Riddle. It could also be used in a Slughorn’s office set such as Horcruxes…or the Bezoar.

May 1st is the Anniversary of them breaking into Gringotts. Maybe we will hear more on that or the GWP vault. I’m wondering which vault and what price threshold it will be. It could be Harry’s vault, vault 713 (SS/PS) or Bellatrix’s vault. Hopefully whichever one it is will attach to Gringotts itself. As for price threshold, I’m thinking $250 usd.

Ugh that’s still another week almost. The bright side is, someone could leak them early 😈.

Exciting to get a bit of a teaser; especially seeing all sets (minus D2Cs) together. BoH looks pretty big. Seems to be a tri fold out structure probably not including much interior. WWW looks good and appears to come with a side build? Knock turn Alley entrance, maybe? Looks too small for B&B. Could also be the entrance to DA where you tap the bricks to get in, not the LC itself. @Xcube I agree, prices seem off, but let’s hope not.

Over time we could get other key minifigures to fill out the BoH set a bit more. Aberforth and Ron could come in a Hog’s Head playset. And, what’s the chance Fred and George could have their BoH outfits in the new WWW set, as their outfits from HBP have been done twice (DA 2011 and the most recent DA)? A troll/giant/acromantula battle pack would be great to pair with the BoH…And we’ve been asking for a DE battle pack for years. It baffles me sometimes how LEGO completely ignores the smaller sets we want that would sell great.

If the Hufflepuff team have capes and the Ravenclaw team doesn’t, that’s okay by me. I just need each team as a whole to match. Curious to see what they do with the trunk. Will it be white pants/cape (like previously) or full team colors/no cape (like the recent polybag). I imagine all 4 uniforms in the trunk will be the same…whether it’s the old or new style remains to be seen. Also, I’m personally confused about the brooms. They had the new style for GP last year, then the old style was back in the polybag. Does anyone know what happened there? If we actually have to wait until May to see full details and official pictures, it would be the latest since the theme returned, correct? I hope we get new info this week. Even seeing 1 set would be great. They are more cruel than Umbridge making us wait this long! (jk) I’m most looking forward to: 1) BoH: I think it’ll be the highlight of the summer wave due to the minifigure lineup alone. 2) WWW: it was the only shop in DA I really wanted and I’m so happy they made a stand alone set. I hope it will lead to more stand alone shops like the Hog’s Head, Leaky Cauldron, Zonko’s and a B&B remake. 3) Quidditch trunk: It’s possible there could be an appropriate hair piece/face print/skin tone for us to make a Lee Jordan. Then, they could include him in the next Quidditch set without using too much of the budget.

I think by the time she actually posted the video, a lot of exclusive information she had, had already been released. The WWW shop and HE sets were leaked after she originally announced her video so, if she had uploaded it then, it would have been new information. Guessing minifigures is fine in most videos, but not appropriate in news/set update videos imo. I had to rewatch to double check which minifigures she was announcing vs. speculating. Official pictures in May seems to be our reality as of now. However, I can't imagine that pictures of at least one set doesn't leak early.

Ah, you’re right…went back and watched again: Pieces to make students from each house, quidditch robes, Harry and Ron minifigures. So, probably ‘build a student’ like the trunk from last year. A missed opportunity for sure! That makes sense. I don’t have a Narcissa, so I hope the put her in a set again soon. Malfoy Manor would be my pick. Also, a Spinners End/the Unbreakable Vow set would be a cool.

Lee Jordan is still possible for the trunk. It’s Harry, Draco and 4 students, correct? Lee is a student so, fingers crossed he is included. Bill Weasley should be in the 2024 D2C if that does actually happen. Didn’t we already get a masked death eater? I have one that’s Lucius Malfoy then the other face is the masked DE with a hood. I think it’s from DA 2011? Of course, it would be great to get a battle pack of DE to go with the BoH!

This years sets are locked and next years sets are most likely already planned/in development. With filming and post production, it would be 2025 at the earliest before the new series affected HP Lego and that’s assuming they base sets on it rather than, or in addition to the original. So, nothing to worry about at the moment. Topic Bricks new video suggests a rumor they won’t be making anymore Hogwarts expansions after this year. Can anyone verify? If true, that’s promising as 2-3 sets per year were taken by Hogwarts expansions. More room for other sets. Hopefully some we’ve never gotten before. Also, PromoBricks still assures a news/update video is coming soon (she stated in the comments of her latest video).

I would have rather had a film about the founders of Hogwarts during the time they created the school, the creation of the CoS and split of Slytherin OR A film of the Marauders when they were in school, becoming animagus’, Snape’s almost demise, etc. I’ve always thought either of those would be great stand alone films. Not sure why they’ve never done them.

LOL Imagine the face print! One side calm like the book, the other side…whatever that was in the film. Always. - Severus Snape would be my personal choice.

Battle of Hogwarts: So excited for this set and really pleased with the minifigure selection! A statue could be included as part of the build, just not in the minifigure lineup. As for Ron, he could be in a future set such as the Boathouse, but most likely a 3rd CMF. I think they will do another one at some point as long as the theme is still going. Expecto Patronum: could be cool, but I would have rather had a diorama of the classroom scene. Quidditch trunk: I think it’s reasonable to expect Quidditch uniforms from all 4 houses to be included. My issue, like others, lies with consistency. The banners have jumpers, the older uniforms have capes. What version will be in the trunk? One or the other, surely not a third option. I need my teams to match. It seems we’re getting descriptions and photos a bit later this year than last. A bit of a shame. I wonder if Promobricks still has news we haven’t learned yet. It seems she was waiting to release some info, but perhaps it’s been shared already? Luna over Ginny all day! Not only is she more interesting as a person, but better outfits/accessories for minifigures. Hopefully we will get the Lovegood home one day as we will be getting our 3rd (allegedly) Burrow next year. They are neighbors after all.

It’s pretty common to sign NDAs with anything unreleased. I don’t know if TLG requires that, but the employees and LAN members have certainly agreed to the rules in some form. A few people that tease information seem to have no ties to TLG, so my guess is they don’t want to say enough to get the friend that shared info or pics with them in trouble. Promobricks has tagged posts with #LAN before, so they would need permission from TLG. She hinted more info would be coming this week sometime so I imagine they have an estimated date and are waiting for a green light. Tbh the grass is greener for us than them. Being a part of creating or viewing something before everyone else is special, but not being able to talk about it with other fans for months or even a year sometimes, is more frustrating. We will know soon enough and then we get to start speculating details of the next wave 😅
