  1. Great job!
  2. So good! I wish LEGO made this. Crossmr, is Oxford's quality standard?
  3. WTF! How can they do this, anyway if the person is comparing It to the real deal then it's ok.
  4. Happy Birthday to all! Hope you all got loads of rattling presents.
  5. No offense but you hadn't answered my second question, is it as safe as ABS? Also the link redirected to a Wikipedia page about TPE. Not TPR, is it the same, TPE and TPR? Also when did a LEGO forum got so overcrowded with clone brands?
  6. Has TLG and En light En went to court?
  7. Hot rod in dog unit set is a WINNER! The camper set, coupe looks a little unfinished. The front of the car. I will MOD it if I buy it. The tipper truck's tipper basket walls looks like a new piece, like the usual panels but a smaller version. Front cab of the garbage truck looks similar to this year's 4643. Also the recycle truck's front grille is a stiffer or a print That looks like the ambulance's and the forest police HQ's police van grille. I'm giving this year a 7/10 so far, with 2010 at 7.5/10 because of 8404 and 2008 and 2007 at 8.5/10 and 2009 at 9/10 for the farm and CITY CORNER! If the next wave is great with a hospital not like crappy 7892 I'll jack the rating up.
  8. What's in for City in 2013? Police?
  9. 1 48x48 x-large grey baseplate
  10. Can't really trust them, what kind of plastic is TPR anyway? Is it as safe as ABS?
  11. But as sated previously the price of Lego will rise.
  12. If I ever had a Lego train I will only buy EN to compare to Lego's.
  13. Not all of them are bad, some are great for us AFOLs, like the fire truck and police MC. 7239 didn't stop production until present time. Some are bad and only kids like them like speedboat (looks like city I think it's 2004
  14. How do you can identify a good set or bad set when you are planning to buy it, especially discontinued one: -Price: Check the price of the following set at the time it was released. Sets like 6399 Airport Shuttle cost 2000+ US for a new and sealed copy and used and incomplete ones het 200-500 US on Bricklink. Sets that are bad usually has a low price for a new one. Good and great sets get a fortune on BrickLink. Well this is the only method I can think of. Anyone with suggestions are welcome. EDIT: Sorry but I should had put this on General LEGO Discussion. Mods please move this
  15. "How is this legal?", well, universal laws, TLG's patents and trademarks don't work in China. When they clone the bricks and practically anything they don't get arrested by Chinese government because they are not doing something wrong in Chinese laws and it's only until someone else foreign is to catch the bootleggers, take them to court and ...
  16. Hydroplane? I didn't really recalled the fire plane next year was a hydroplane like thing but it does seemed logical. Lego has released a police seaplane (7723) in 2008 so it's possible for a fire version to be released. IMO I think Lego's version of the Fire plane really looks like BanBao's. I don't know about you guys, but if I get pics I will show it in a comparison to TLG's version.
  17. I have recently seen a BamBao fire plane pricing at 10 USD. It looked like the Lego City fire plane next year. Finally TLG is starting to copy some copycats ideas
  18. Entan? It is gasoline right? Here is a little commercial quote for Entan you all will love: "Entan, go 0,1 kilometers per hour with every 50 gallons!"
  19. Got my third Alien Conquest set. After 7049 and 853301 I got 7051. Fortunately it was free from crumbled instruction and DSSs. It is a great set.Yes the tripod part is hard to make.
  20. Police sets are LEGO's flagship sets dating back to the 1960s. Recently I saw some members having a rant for more Police ssets. Indeed they are released every 3 years since 2005. But what do you think if TLG mixed it up a bit, like the forest sets. Maybe Coastal Police? What are your opinions?
  21. Im all into planes, and I remember something in an airport LEGO has never done: HANGAR, maybe to big, needs useless big parts. but just enough baseplates with a little bit of SNOT I think it can be achieved. Then an airport fire brigade with 1 ATV and 1 mini fire truck like next year's forest fire truck. A logistics center. An elevated train station. and a pilot boat. Also City minifigure battle packs.
