  1. Off to a roaring start! How does one even photograph a moc of this size? I've been watching the effort you poured into this and it has really paid off. The lighting effects are perfect and that roof is incredible!
  2. @Bricksbypidy, Huzzah! Glad to see you here too!
  3. @Dutch Thriceman, please do! The more the merrier!
  4. Nailed it! I too love the colors and the camel is a great touch!
  5. Raoul de Courtenay, soldier of fortune. Courtenay is a minor noble house with land holdings in the eastern reaches of Oleon. Lands that are now decimated by the decades long Corrish occupation of the Great War. With this conflict over and little wealth to be wrought from their recently restored properties, this son of house Courtenay must find new avenues of advancement. Raoul has lived his entire thirty years as a product of the war and his family has been pushed to the brink of ruin by it. He alone remains as the sole inheritor of salted fields, burned hamlets, dusty coffers, and a ruined manor. However the same war that took so much from his forbearers, has rendered unto Raoul a steady nerve and a more than capable sword arm. Two assets which can pay a man well in the wild lands of Afar. The war may be over but Raoul's first steps home are across the sea. -Sigfig for ToO, ♧
  6. Excellent parts usage! A lot of fun ideas and the atmosphere is great.
  7. I love this hut. Was there a real world inspiration for it? Great start, sharply written!
  8. 'The board is set. The pieces are moving' Great story so far! I do love the effect of the flames. Did you light the poor victim's eyes or was that a digital effect?
  9. I absolutely adore the french colonial style and these builds have been excellent! Clever parts usage that I will try to emulate more, myself. Great work!
  10. I second this. These have been great. From the builds to the story! Way to keep the momentum up, Key!
  11. @NOD, these are all good points and yes @Mister Phes's contests are a standard of excellence that we all strive for. I just don't feel comfortable flipping the script on this challenge after submission have been made. In the next challenge, we will look into implementing more of these ideas! Thank you, ♧
  12. The votes are in from the court for Transition Challenge II! Apologies for the delay. Thank you to all our participants, there were many excellent submissions! Category A: 1st: 'Ada' by @Bricksbypidy 2nd: 'All the Parties Involved' by @Keymonus Category B: 1st: 'Captain Lysandre Bernadotte' by @Khorne 2nd: 'Captain Jno. Cooke, RN' by @Bregir Thanks to all involved! There were many a great entry. To those who have won, your prizes are to be starting options/bonuses for era 3. These options are still in the works as we are still tinkering with the new mechanics but we will remind you of them and have a list to choose from at launch! Keep your eyes peeled for Transition Challenge III landing in a few months as this will herald the beginning of BoBS Era III!
  13. Hey gang. Sorry I haven't wrapped up TC II yet. I've been dealing with some problems in the real space. I hope to have the winners announced by Saturday. Here is an update on E3's developement; When the initial deadline of summer '24 was laid down, E3 looked more like a 'passing of the torch' to new game operators. A 'simple' transfer of files and paperwork. This, however, became a bit of an issue as the nature of the decade old forms and records prooved pretty substantial. The biggest concern then became how to keep Era 3 from ballooning in scope as E2 did for the sake of game management. After some lusty discussion, it was decided that two things were of import 1: Automating most of the gameplay through an interactive map to speed up gameplay and create a more fluid gameplay experiance 2: Reduce the scale of the game itself, by turning BoBS into a single character driven RPG at its core. Shifting away from Empire building to story driven adventures. However, this meant that developement was going to take longer than originally envisioned but we at the court dropped the ball on keeping the community updated on this fact and for that I apologize to no end. I will give you all a more nuanced overview of E3's form and system shortly. As to TC3, I'd like to see it start later and there are some insights from TC2 I'd like time to consider first. That said, I see no reason not to continue the legacy of a football tournament or Octoberfest.
  14. And you shall have it! I'll get an update approved and posted soon.
  15. Perfect. I'll use the spoiler as the voting tag and remove the others to simplify voting! I cant seem to find it @Keymonus, can you link it here, please?
