  1. Very nice! That part will be on my list for a 2027 PAB order (EDIT: Finally I am able to post again yay Forum would always crash when I submitted the post)
  2. Good find! Very interesting piece. As a kid in the 90s I would lay a string between the hips and torso. The string had a small loop which held a sword or cutlass. Is this the first time that we get such a Lego piece? Seems a no brainer and I wonder why we didn't get it sooner.
  3. Mando and Grogu are boring and one-dimensional characters. Does anybody really care about Mando? And who's even wearing that costume and helmet most of the time? Grogu is cute, sure, but by now people had enough time to buy a plushie and isn't that the purpose of Grogu's existence in the first place? I am sorry, but I'd never pay money to watch such a movie in cinema. Every time a new show or movie is announced I hope for good Lego sets, but it's, well..., LEGO, so I end up being disappointed most of the time
  4. Supported Love all the details you incorporated. Getting all the printed pieces would be glorious! The coach could be set in its own right! The minifig selection is truely the best I have ever seen, it would be like a history themed CMF become reality Good luck with your project!
  5. The shako is now listed at PAB, ID 6575438. (Seems like a early listing since the 900+ new parts should become available at PAB only on 11 May.)
  6. Maybe then it would have been better to drop the spreadsheets altogether and concentrate on mocs and stories, but keep the game going. Don't get me wrong, I don't want to blame anybody!! I just wanted to write something to show that the BotBS is not forgotten. I know how it is to work an a hobby game as an volunteer. I create content for a almost dead videogame remake and I am the only person on this planet still creating maps for it Anyway, it is sad to see such a long break, 3 years and counting and maybe the new BotBS project was to ambitious after all. Maybe you could share the current state with the players?
  7. Time to change the thread title. Again Honestly, it would have been better to just tweak the rules a teeny tiny bit, just so people can not get rich in no time, and otherwise keep the game as is. Now we lost 3 years already...
  8. Next one: The lady on the left with the green dress and the sideburn guy, second from right, look very very interesting.
  9. Today (5pm German time) there will be the chance to get hold of one of the last copies of BDP series 5 sets, amongst them BDP 910053 The Thieves of Tortuga. Please see the stonewars article for further information.
  10. There is a picture on reddit (already acouple days old) of May's BAM minifigs and one of the torsos looks useful for a pirate. Also the sextant seems to become a BAM accessoire.
  11. The hat looks interesting! Hopefully it will work like any other hat Fingers crossed! When will the series be released?
  12. I was born in the early 80s and grew up with all the classic themes, mainly I was playing with Pirates, Castle and Town every kriffin day! I was not interested in Space very much back then, but still had some sets. I still remember the base plate with the molded craters very well. I was building hugh castles, utilizing every single brick I owned (and the ones my brother owned). And I liked to build a small town where light & sound would provide some safety for the road construction sites. Oh and I liked to build pirate ships! Anyway, what I want to say is, that not everybody is affected by nostalgia as I think that everything we have today is far superior to the bricks and minifigs I was playing with as a kid. Nowadays we have more colors, a truckload of different bricks and pieces that boost your mocs and most important to me - much better fleshy minifigs. I'd pick Indiana Jones, Harry Potter, POTC, LOTR and of course Star Wars over everything I had as a kid! Not because I lack the imagination as some fans of the classic themes might think but because all of the new licensed stuff - the bricks and pieces and minifigs - provide the best foundation for my mocs.
  13. Unfortunately there's some red printed on the bottom of the musician's torso, that reduces the versatility. The Monster Hunter on the other hand is a great minifig and will be very useful in a Pirates environment.
  14. I found the minifigure series 29 in my local supermarket and bought a handful of boxes today. None of the apps had the series listed so far. At least none was working so I opened the boxes because I couldn't wait One of them was the musician. Here's a better look of the torso:
