As I build my model has to be positioned as it is on the box. If something is in the air I have to get something to prop it up. I keep all boxes big or small. I wish I did that as a kid though. I have to have several setups of different themes in my room.

well what comes to mind is the book The Hobbit haven't read it in awhile but i think there were three dwarf armies in that one. They just didn't play as large a role in LOTR. Also in the Forgotten Realms series Dwarves had the largest armies right behind orcs.

Wow this moc is fantastic it makes me want to collect WW sets. I have only two small ones from that era. The sluce and the makeshift crane are my two favorite details. And I love how the wood interacts with the rocks on the side, gives it that built directly into the mountain feel. :-) I think though if you had enough of the peices that the gold coins come off of when their new they would have made great raw gold. Overall *y* *y*

Th e mountain is the ultimate dwarves mine. It captured the scenario beautifuly in my mind.

I love the statue and the details on the wall like the arrival/departure screen. Also the interior colors go nice with the outside. I would have liked to see maybe a splash of color in the overhangs on top its very nice though. Overall great job.

Are they so cheap cause their from a newer line or was there more produced of them?

I came upon this 10 days late but cast my vote before i knew anything about this so... i thought Hinkley's was beautiful in its use of the rock raiders cage. i wouldn't have thought of that in a million years. Jipay's was nice too though. ;-) The legs looked a bit flimsy that was my beef. Ok enough said :-)

True everything was fantastic except this... and this is my only bone to pick with this line. i still love the figs though i'm gonna have a bunch by the end year hopefully *sweet* they would look really menacing side by side. "Troll Warriors" on Your right I do need to ease up. All of lego's faults and many they are, are outweighed by a single 2x4 brick. Ahh... The glorious brick. Plus I'm a little grumpy today sry

Great MOC!! A drop off box or mailtruck would have been a nice touch. I love the USPS blue and white though. Great!!
