  1. You’re actually right about that, they never did officially claim they were the fan vote figures, I’d even say the fact it was never mentioned seems to imply they weren’t the fan vote figures too. That being said, I never meant for this to be a gunship figure rant as much as it was meant to be speculation about the AT-TE potentially being Utapau based instead of Geonosis based
  2. We never did get the answer, and I didn’t say he straight up won, but judging by the community’s requests and the reaction to the figure selection, there’s a very obvious demand for him. I also HIGHLY doubt the winners just so happened to be a figure already in production and another figure that just so happens to ALSO be in production, but with slight differences. There’s just NO way
  3. except for the fact that it was LITERALLY the fan vote, and exactly what fans asked for. How is that a slap in the face? If anything, what we actually ended up getting was more along the lines of a slap in the face. As for jedi bob, he would’ve made less sense. He’s non canon. I don’t think Lego wanted to put a non canon figure in a UCS set, simple as that
  4. Yeah if it really is a ROTS set, it more than likely will have Cody in it. That also being said, I firmly believe the gunship’s figure selection was 100% due to it only having a year of design/production, so they probably actually knew about the demand from the vote, but couldn’t get a new helmet mold out on time for the gunship that or it just has 212th troopers with no cody in it
  5. Anyone see the blurry landspeeder pic on instagram? Looks pretty decent if real
  6. Just backs up all the theories of Lego expecting a Nebulon win. If phase II Cody actually ends up in the AT-TE, it also backs my theory of the Gunship's bad figure selection being a product of a short development period. wouldn't be shocked if this ends up being the $530 set either, considering the thing seems to be pretty much complete
  7. Vaughn is definitely the first one that comes to mind. If they were to do, say, a clone wars based Gunship in the future, they're DEFINITELY throwing Vaughn into that. Thorn or a P2 Fox I could easily see them doing if they decide to make a set with the Coruscant guard in it. I doubt we'll ever see Doom, but if they ever wanted to bring back May the 4th minifigs, Doom would be perfect. Lego would also totally just make unnamed clone commanders with a regular white helmet and a black visor lets be real lol
  8. Yeah I don't think Lego is rushing to make new molds for them. If the cody leak is real, I'm gonna assume his helmet's a new mold in a similar fashion to the gar saxon mando helmet we got last year, and if we get any obscure named clones later, it's gonna be ones that use that mold like thorn or something over a completely new one for someone like bacara
  9. Kinda hoping the episode 3 utapau AT-TE is real, considering it and the gunship are almost always geonosis based. Phase 2’s in an AT-TE sounds great
  10. see that’s the thing that gets me. It seems so fake and I still kinda think it is, but it’s also completely out of nowhere and, to me at least, feels like something current day lego would do. It doesn’t feel like the average extreme wishful thinking or play it safe with remakes type of fake rumour you’d normally see. The theoretical 2 year development time for this set if it’s real would also line up with the peak of the razor crest’s hype too. I want to say it’s fake, I’m about 75% sure it is, but it gives me the exact same vibe as the fighter tank rumour and look what happened there
  11. eh, I’d argue if anything that isn’t the OT warrants a big set, it’d be Mando for sure. I think it has more general public appeal than the prequel and sequel trilogy have, so them making a UCS set off it it wouldn’t shock me That being said as far as the $530 price point options go I’d say basically everything short of a 2008 death star rehash is a bit of a risk to make, so the safe guess would probably be that
  12. eh, I think it's a plausible idea, it actually seems like something lego would make. I find the fake leaks usually either play it way too safe (like the shuttle or DSII leaks) or are complete wishful thinking from prequel fans (playscale gunship rumor) but here, I could easily see the ucs razor crest being a thing in development since around 2020 when it was at it's peak popularity banking off the hype. That being said tho, no real reliable leakers backing this one up and we're overdue for a MBS set. Could be a similar case to the fighter tank, but I'm definitely not holding my breath on it
  13. Honestly, it’s just me personally preferring vehicles over location based sets. There’s nothing actually wrong with MBS sets, Cantina set is objectively great imo, they just aren’t what I personally collect
  14. to be fair the razor crest actually doesn't have a canon size and it’s calculated through the hasbro one and iirc the scale kinda looks off on it that being said, i have my doubts on this one. I HOPE it’s true, i’m not a big fan of MBS sets, but razor crest doesn’t seem that likely to me. Guess we’ll see where it goes
  15. I would hope for $140 that it’s at least a bit bigger with a better interior, but I guess we’ll just have to see
  16. so now 75336 is supposedly an Obi-Wan set and 75337 is the AT-TE again? Honestly if anything I’m more hoping it’s $140 and closer to the 2008 ones size but that’s probably asking for too much. Does beg the question where the extra 300 or so pieces went
  17. I definitely wouldn’t count on it, but I think it could work, especially if the AT-TE remains similarly sized to the 2013 one, meaning they can downscale the dropship. If they did do it, they’d have to add some extra features to the dropship to make it work standalone. Maybe include some extra things in there. My bet would still be on the AT-TE being $140 and being a similar size to the 2008 one though
  18. I mean, to be fair, it's not like the ISD was selling out until the pandemic hit from what I remember. Guess we'll have to see?
  19. I'll admit, I worded it poorly, but come on, it's a logical guess. The only other set I can see fitting the $530 set is yet another playset death star, which granted, sounds exactly like something lego would do. I don't think Jabba's palace is gonna come in the same year as the smaller Boba Fett Palace, and while the sail barge would be the only one I'd actually buy, I'm pretty sure it'd be a UCS set over an MBS set, and I don't think they'd just drop another huge UCS less than a year after the AT-AT. I just think an endor bunker and landing platform is a pretty logical guess to make I got the AOTC set thing from Childish Landino on Instagram. Apparently the $140 set is an AOTC set, which realistically, judging by the price and the minifig pack, is probably an AT-TE. I doubt the gunship too, but I really have no idea what the $160 set will be. Disney+ I guess?
  20. I’m pretty certain $530 is Endor, and if i were to guess based off the price, it’ll include the bunker and the landing platform Theres also bound to be an AT-TE, Gunship or both in here too judging by the clone pack coming out The rest are probably disney+ sets. One of these is definitely from Kenobi and possibly Andor as well
  21. I still absolutely love the AT-AT, everything about it. The only issue i have is... it’s $800 (and $950 Canadian ), and when compared to the Falcon, it’s noticeably smaller I think the size of it is perfect, I was worried we’d get an oversized one thats as long and tall as the UCS Falcon, but it really should’ve been $700 and I feel like it’s $800 because lego knew people would buy multiples Still a day 1 for me, but that 950 hurts
  22. It looks even better when you see it with the panels on, in full, with the legs. You really get a feel for just how big and awesome the thing is. Also I hope the interior becomes standard in future minifig scale UCS sets. Imagine a Slave I remake with a full interior, or an imperial shuttle, or an AT-TE. Endless possibilities there
  23. The popular OT vehicles get a pass, X-Wing, Y-Wing and Falcon had the same thing happen
  24. that, and I’m almost certain the lacklustre gunship figures were because of a shorter production time. An accurate clone pilot or P2 Cody need a new head mold, and they only had a year to design the gunship. I’m sure we would’ve had clone pilots if it had another year of development
  25. I’m pretty sure they’re posable. It comes with a little tool thing that seems to move the legs around. The guns also have the firing motion to them too
