I would’ve thought Dry Bones would be in 72060. Shy Guys will be minifigures I reckon, Bob Ombs and Boos could be moulded. Spinys too.

It came about 2 weeks ago. I do find it a bit strange that it has 4+ sets.

The summer always tends to produce the more larger sets when it comes to LEGO Super Mario. I can see us getting some type of Toad Town with different coloured Toads, Toadette and Nabbit, I can also see us getting a Ghost House with Boos and some type of airship too. I think we will also get a desert set or an underground set as the course building system never focused on underground. I also predict an underwater set, maybe even a tower set. I am so curious to know what 72059 will be.

This may sound stupid but I wonder if it’s based on Bowser’s Car of Super Mario 3D World?

A list of the names of the new Lego Super Mario 2027 January sets from Unibricks 72052 Mario’s Pipe Jump 72054 Mario Kart Racing with Mario 72055 Mario’s Beach Adventure 72056 Mario Kart Luigi and Bowser Jr Karts 72057 Yoshi at Mario’s House 72058 Mario Kart Bowser’s Rumbling Kart 72060 Fire Mario and Bowser’s Castle 72061 Fire Luigi vs Koopa Troopa Battle Some of these sound very interesting, I think 72054 will have the standard kart in minifigure form.

How would a Piranha Plant look in minifigure scale? And could we also see a set with Petey Piranha?

I would also like to see a minifigures of Spike, Nabbit, Ninjis, Shy Guys, Magikoopas and Birdo. It’ll be interesting to see what 72059 will be, a few possibilities could be the Odyssey Ship, World 1-1 Diorama, Buildable DS or even a Buildable Fire Flower or Mushroom. What does everyone else think that 72059 could be?

I can see a few of these being in the summer wave and in the next few years.

Other sets I can see are. Construction Steamroller 260 pieces $20 includes a steam roller with an engine. Minifigures included will be two construction workers. Construction Grader 560 pieces $55 includes a grader with an engine. Minifigures have included in the set will be two construction workers and an architect. Holiday Coach 670 pieces $65 includes a coach with an engine and a bus stop. Minifigures included will be the coach driver and 5 passengers. Transit Interchange 1170 pieces $120 includes a bus, a tram and a station where both the tram and bus can interchange. The station will have a cafe and a ticket office. Minifigures included will be a tram driver, bus driver, a barista, a ticket officer and 6 passengers. Cargo Truck 1080 pieces $100 includes a cargo truck with a trailer and a forklift. Minifigures included will be a cargo truck driver, two cargo employees and a forklift operator.

It’ll be interesting to see what they look like, I wonder if the March 18+ will be revealed then?

Possibly or a Ghost House, Bowser JR’s Robot Reactor, Mario’s House or even The Reznors.

I reckon the summer wave will have the bigger sets. I can also see Goombas and Spinys as accessories too.

I’m hoping for a Waluigi!

Here are some sets I can see Lego City doing in the next few years. Subway Station 810 pieces, $90, includes a 3 carriage subway train with a station build with a coffee stand and ticket office. Minifigures included will be a subway driver, barista, platform attendant and 4 passengers. Combine Harvester 780 pieces, $80, includes a combine harvester with an inside working engine, it also includes a trailer for the blades and a scarecrow. Minifigures included will be a combine harvester operator and a farmer. Wrecking Ball Crane 650 pieces $60 includes a wrecking ball crane with a small building build. Minifigures included will be a wrecking ball crane operator, a construction worker and an architect. Telehandler 380 pieces, $35 includes a telehander with different attachments. Minifigures included will be a telehander operator and a construction worker. Engineering Train 1180 pieces $120 includes an engineering train with a locomotive, a breakdown crane, a flatbed and a railway excavator. Minifigures included will be a train driver, crane operator, an excavator operator and 2 railway construction workers.

I can see Fire Mario in the first wave as well as maybe Cat Mario. I think in other waves we’ll see Racoon Mario, Tanooki Mario, Builder Mario and many more variants to come. Does anyone else think that we could potentially see Bowser Jr’s Megaleg or anything else based from the games?

They should do more buses indeed they should. I would like to see a normal double decker bus, a bendy bus, a coach, a vintage bus, a bus garage and a public transit interchange with a bus and tram.

I’d love to see a double decker tram or even a subway station. Although we are due a transit interchange.

Hopefully we see more modular city buildings like a modular fire station or a modular hospital.

I think it’ll be a very modern looking Police HQ.

Same here, along with Kemak and Bowser JR. Future waves I reckon will bring the likes of the koopalings, Wario, Waluigi, Rosalina and Daisy.
