  1. Are you sure there's not supposed to be a few more electric-type damages in there, instead of physical, what with all the electrocution and lightning? Heh
  2. Sorry, cell service spontaneously all-but-died at my cabin this weekend. "I could do with a quick patchin' up, if no one minds" as he looks towards Vindsval. Both take a swig of the mead.
  3. Stepping back from the combat, he times his actions. Appearing to do nothing, Thormanil instead prepares himself to leap after Charon at the end of the round, diving through the portal at the same time as the Angel.
  4. OoC: Oh.. Well I'd been hoping to get a chance to employ my more creative strategy that round. Didn't expect the roll to come as quickly as it did after the PM reply Thormanil attacks the First Duplicate from the back row, striking twice.
  5. I think I've been assigning the hits wrong for quite awhile then, heh
  6. What's this about needing to reverse the order? Been a long day and I'm on the verge of passing out, heh. Shishkebab's second hit can be redirected where I see fit, can't it? Or am I just imagining things?
  7. Wing B (2nd hit on Wing A), twice, back row.
  8. OoC: I was just thinking, "Durability? Bombs, duh!" Don't know why it didn't come to me sooner. Thormanil throws two Water Bombs from the back row. "That should take care of quite a few problems, while saving the big toys for later."
  9. OOC That's the hope, heh
  10. Nodding, he sets his sights on the ethereal scimitar that Charon brandished. "If you say so. I'll be trying to dull his blades." Shishkebab vs Stygian Blade, back row.
  11. Thormanil stats adjustments, minor: Power: 73 (50+16+1+6) SP: 29 (20+18+1) Hope your dog is well! Mobile, so apologies for formatting
  12. He nods, trying not to show concern for having to fight without Arx at his side for the first time in quite a while. "For sure, Arthur. Any chance you've got a helmet I could borrow, as well?" Presuming the following are borrowed: Tin Armor, Tin Gloves, Tin Greaves, Unicorn Helmet. Adjust if any aren't lent. If Unicorn Helmet isn't, then don't equip the Greaves, which drops multiplier on Tin Armor & Gloves to 2 from 3. He swaps his: Bright Armor for the Tin Armor (-3SP, -Dark Immunity / +18 (6x # of Tin) SP) Winged Sandals for the Tin Greaves (-A ton of immunities / + Immunity to Stun, Slow, Haste) Medal of Glory for his Bejewelled Collar (-3x exp / + Immunity to Dark, Wood) Further, he equips: Tin Gloves (+6 (2x # of Tin) Power) Unicorn Helmet (+1 SP, +One negative effect at a time)
  13. "Knowing this place? Something, if not everything, definitely will." he remarks, in reply to Karie.
  14. Thormanil stood, silently stunned. He finally turns towards Arthur, and with a somber tone, asks, "Do you think they'll be alright..? I... If anything happens to him and I'm not there to protect him.. Arthur, I don't know what I'll do."
  15. Still in draconian, <"If they would do us no harm, I will refrain as well. But violence will be met with violence... So, Charon?"> he eyes the angel apprehensively.
  16. Arx steps forward, to Thormanil's surprise. In draconian, he addresses Charon and Miirym: <"I would accompany her, if she would have me, and you would allow."> "You don't have to do this, Arx!" Thormanil exclaims, quite stunned at the gesture. "If she wants t'go headfirst into Immortalis' grasp, let her! If there's a riot we've gotta stop, I'll need you here. And beyond that, I won't let you go and do something crazy like this!" <"I agree it is dangerous, my friend, but if she is dead set on going, and she certainly appears to be, then I can not allow her to enter the wolf's den alone, or at least not without offering my company. And so, Miirym?">
  17. "We should have dropped that coward before she could flee," Thormanil grumbles.
  18. Arx butts into Lind's attempted huddle, quite defiantly. <"If you've something to say, speak it to all of us, I still don't trust your intentions one little bit!"> he insists, in draconian. Realizing as much, he asks, slightly abashed, <"Arthur, would you mind relaying that to the group for me..?">
  19. <"That's a grand understatement."> Arx mutters softly, in draconic. Thormanil catches it and chuckles.
  20. Like I said, telepathy is its own thing. Seems silly to have to specify draconian, when there's already a syntax for it, and even a whole class trait dedicated to it/specifying it as a thing, akin to animal talk. shrug
  21. Catching Karie as she fires off a sharp look at him, Thormanil assuages her, "Awh easy, Red. Didn't mean no harm by it."
  22. Telepathy is its own mess -- have fun with that, heh. If Arx wishes to yell at someone in draconian, that's his prerogative. It's up to the illiterate mortal to learn the language!
  23. I believe they've been around much longer than that, first being used as the indicator for Animal Talk, though my lunch break's up and I don't have the time to dig up any ancient examples, heh.
  24. As Arx catches up, Thormanil can't help but be amused by Karie's warning. "I'd certainly like to see how that goes for you, bard!" He laughs as they walk.
