Well, as I'm not a retailer nor a dealer of anykind, and just a customer I do not have the dealers catalog. But I definately know what I saw in the catalog that the clerk had in her hands.. And no, she didn't want to give me the catalog.

Sorry to clutter with slight offtopic... Series 7 will pe 2,50 eur in Finland, according to the new lego catalog and in red as it was already known.. Also, as the offtopic, serie 8 will be black. I just saw a glimpse of the dealer catalog of legos, and it had series 6 in white (duhh) series 7 in red and series 8 in black.

The lego shop says 2,5 eur per bag for series 6, and the series 5 shows 2,20 eur old price, now 1,76 eur. So yes, price has been increased atleast in the Finnish online lego shop. And as I earlier posted, some stores will be raising the price from 1,99 eur -> 2,29 eur.

Just got some price information in Finland. Atleast Lähikauppa company that includes atleast Siwa, Valintatalo and Euromarket, will be pricing series 6 for 2,29 euros per bag. So that's a 0,30 eur increase per bag :/ Will be avaible for orders in mid january...

119,99 eur was what I found just now :/ and besides, crap on a fudgecake, french amazon is in french :(

Any of the UK shops that have the series 6 in stock, do international mailorders? I just visited my trusty supplier that checked out the status of the series 6 and said, in january :( It's better to have them shipped now, and wait 3 weeks that just wait 3 weeks to see them in stores :I EDIT: John Lewis seems to ship, but doesn't have the figs online yet..

Well, if it's vikings You want and have access to a full box in the store... As the bags are in 3 rows of 20 bags, get these bags: 1st row (from left), bag #10 and #12 from the front of the box 2nd row (from left), bag #4 from the front of the box. And tadaaa, you have the 3 vikings in the full box. :) I've been mapping the full unopened boxes for series 4 for sometime now. And I'd say that they in the same order in the boxes. Ofcourse, during shipping etc they might fall over and under the other bags thus mixing up the map.

2 full cases, that's all I'm gonna buy these, not more.. full cases that is, I'll the other 2 worth of individual bags.. hnnng.. gotta get them ALL.. I'm screwed..

Nothing wrong with blind packaking. After all, they ARE collectibles. I can't remember that any of the NHL/Baseball etc cards would have been in a non-blind packs back in the days.. We just have found a "loophole" to get the figs we want, but ofcourse, lego uses blind packing because it pumps up the sales as not everyone can or a willing to feel around.

Just ask the people in the store about buying a full unopened box. It's up to them if it's cheaper this way or gettin them one by one. I got a small discount of the full box, but it was in a small REAL toy store, no toys'r'us or any of that big megablocks corp. crap..

Definately yes to the poll. I think it is very OK to feel the packets. The comparison to the apples etc limbs a LOT. A totally diffirent thing, that i think, almost everyone does. I got the 1&2 series via the barcodes, 3 with the bump codes, tried 4 with the bump codes and ended up with lots of doubles etc. Started to learn the feel method on 4, and HOARDED series 5 (bought a full box+ then some, by feeling in diffirent stores, to have full sets). I'm still missing 2 figs (cheerleader+robin hood) from the 1st series, as the vanished FAST from the stores i then visited for them. And stil kept buying some randoms every now and then, also for our son, got the figs he most wanted. Got a full opened set of 2nd, 3rd and 4th series, 6 full sets of unopened series 5 and one opened. I'm definately not a reseller of the figs (have sold like 5 or 6 of the pre 4th series figs, none after that), and not an army builder. I'm just addicted. For series 6, will order 2 full boxes atleast and then fill up to full sets by feeling individual packets. EDIT: (sorry for several edits, lotsa typos) And Yes, I have made "interesting" sounds in the stores when feeling the packets, and getting the ones I wanted. Some employees might look after me feeling them, some don't mind, a few guards have looked at me doing it.. but NONE have said anything to me to stop it. I have even had an employee bring me unopened boxes from their own warehouse outside the store, for me to feel them to get the few that I'm missing. What I once noticed in a supermarket when going to get the figs of #5. There were 2 or 3 packets in the box, slit open behind the crease in the bags, random parts STOLEN and there wasn't eny full figs+acc left. Even the employees thought that the bags have failed when i took the box to them and reported it. Yeah, sure the bags have failed when someone had felt them . .

Sorry to bump up "old" thread but... If anyone in Finland is still missing series 4 figs, I know a place to get them. Just bought 13 bags, got 11 diffirent figs (no feel or bump reading). Store has still full boxes in warehouse, and they just ordered atleast one unopened box to the shop :)

Okay, this oughta be in series 4 discussion, but man am I jealous for that find. I'd prolly buy every single pre series 5 figs what I could get my hands on in retail stores. Still missing the viking from 4 and a few from series 1. Almost all of the briclink etc items are minifig only, or son't ship. :I For series 5, just got 12 more character by feel. Only missing 8 more for yet another full set.. I'm not even gonna say how many I already have ..5 And I have NO intentions in selling these.

Noooo.. There's no obsession in getting minifigs, no way. I won't believe You! .. I just went thru 4 stores this morning till I found one that has the figs, bought 7.. nngh.. no obsession, I just needed to get those..

I just got a few more yesterday from a Prisma in Finland. Price, 1,90 eur per fig. Have now 4 full sets + few extras \o/ I just love the Lizardguy #6 I hate to see opened bags in the retail box, in a supermarket (Citymarket).. There were parts of the eskimo and the cavewoman, and a bag that was sliced open on the back side, just behing the crease. I took it to the store info and the woman there suspected that the bag had just broken when people go thru them. NO WAY!

Oh joy. Just finished sorting my unopened box full of series 5 figs. I weighted all the bags, marked them, feeled them, sorted them and got the 3 full sets and a total of 12 extras as others have reported (plus the few figs I got earlier) Extras are: Royal Guard Gladiator x2 Cavewoman x1 Lizardman x1 Monkeytrainer lady x2 Lumberjack x1 Clown x1 FItness instructor x1 Detective x1 Boxer x2. So it's not the exact same as the review (I got 2 gladiators, as the review has 2 guards) This in Finland. 2 EUR (about $2.75 USD) per fig. If You want to weight the bags to identify the fig, don't really bother, the feel method is more accurate. What's the suggested retail price in Your local lego catalog? In finland they have been anything between 1,90 - 2,10 euros. In the shop I ordered a box of series 5 (should arrive tomorrow) has had the previous figs on sale for 2,50eur, but now as there is a price in the catalog for 2,20 eur, that's what they are asking for them now.

Darn, almost got lucky. Tomorrow in TRU's across Finland, all legos -50% But not the minifigs :(

I'd LOVE that! I got some spares from series #1-#4 and few still missing, some i wan't more.. Soon gonna have a ton of #5 extras (asap my local real (not a TRU or anything) toy store contacts me back).

I'm still thinking between getting a full box of these and trying to weight them, or trying my luck with bricklink and just ordering the ones i'm missing..
