Here is the Giant ice cream design.

Very good review! Perfect pics! Great Job! Thank you!

After making some tests, here is the result: I'll try to make a candy car! Vean

I tested it. It's too big on the roof...
-
If one of you could test it? I do not have all of the parts for this...

I've used existing design of trucks. Yellow one is for roasted chickens and the other was an existing ice cream truck (But the giant cone has been added). When I was a child, I've spent long time waiting for this truck!
-
Tests have be done: It's perfect!
-
I'll try to tilt this cone not decreasing the solidity of the set. In the meantime, it will be necessary to avoid passing under a bridge! I have to test that, but I'm not sure! It works (even better)! As a consequence, I've changed my original pics!Thank you!

V-LC-11A & V-LC-11B Here is my last project. I wish to develop a series of vehicles for street sale to complete my city.I've tried for a long time to add an ice cream truck...But the result was always too gross, not rather "clean and simple". This model is based on the ambulance 4431. I strengthened the base of the vehicle and I modified the sides. I slightly increased the opening size of the roof to facilitate the access inside the vehicle. The addition of glass doors allows to relieve the set.As I said, my aim was to obtain a "clean" model. For fun, I added a big ice scream cone. After testing, the result is perfectly practicable. It allows to open easily the roof. This is not the same for the giant hot dog, I will find a solution... Do not hesitate to give your comments to improve it! I have now to get the bricks of the right colors to build a more beautiful model than my multicolored proto. I think that the flavor of the huge ice cream must be modified for that...It will be vanilla rather than raspberry! In the meantime, you can support me on Cuusoo! Cuusoo link Vean

Thanks a lot for all your comments. Here is the final version of this creation: Brickshelf link My Cuusoo link I think I have to work on something else now. (Modular hospital, school or candy shop...)

Hi "Locutis", Thank a lot for your comment. Very precious to improve that model. By using LDD "design by me" mode only, finding good shapes and colors in the same time is not so simple. The white model is nice, but the contrast with other modular models is too important. Adding some colors drives me to find an acceptable mix. But you're right about the angles. For the ultimate version I will use only curved grey plates for this angle (under the shop door).

Hi 'L@go', This model was made at the request of a friend pharmacist. He could buy this model when it is completed. This explains why I looked at everything about the pharmacy on the site. I wanted to construct a building with a spiral staircase to lose a minimum of space and also for the style. My problem was how to make the ramp. The way you made in your model clearly showed me the direction to follow. Difficult to deviate from this very good method after seeing it. A link to your model has been added in my topic.

Hi 'sonicstarlight', This is a comparaison beetween "white" and "colored" model: The result of this colors update is pharmacie 2.0 Pharmacie 2.0.LXF link

European Drugstore Hi, I think my model could be a little bit better. So please give me some ideas. But don't forget that model is made with buyable bricks only. Spiral stairs are inspired by 'L@go' model: Link to L@go Drugstore More pics and LXF file are available on my Brickshelf gallery: Drugstore Folder Cost on LEGO shop: Approx. 464€ Thank you! Support this project!

MOC: Modular Drugstore
vean replied to vean's topic in Digital LEGO: Tools, Techniques, and Projects
Hi, Thank you for your comment. The challenge was to create a model of Drugstore which can be purchased on site. The choice of pieces is very small compared with the LDD "extended" mode. Many elements are redundant. With the instruction generator, this was not considered. Therefore, the stairs are a large number of steps, because the position of each is slightly different from previous one. In addition, the large number of drugs in the stock causes a huge number of steps. This is necessary to be realistic. The assembly of the model from the base to the roof seems not so complex. The more complicated is to correctly position the stairs. -
