Me too! I'm ready to put my pre-order on that set, but even a peek in the meantime would be awesome!

I think it'll be quite a bit bigger, as Star Wars tax is a lot higher than Marvel. From reports the Benatar will have 1900 ish pieces while the last plays scale falcon had 1300 ish for a $160 USD price point.

From what I saw it's said to be in the same style as the Ghostbusters vehicle which didn't include figures. I probably wouldn't get your hopes up for any included, but maybe be pleasantly surprised if they are included.

I'm dissapointed in this wave. Don't get me wrong, the designs are beautiful, but it feels like a cash grab from loyal fans to have to buy another castle with expansions (kinda familiar, isn't it?) I already have the 2018-20 and the microscale, I don't really want another one taking room on my shelves (I collect other themes than just HP, gotta share the love) . Even when I heard that it was a castle I was planning on buying the wave, but now I'm not sure if I will. After seeing all the sets my excitement has drained. Fluffy looks bad and, I already have a very similar Lockhart (DA) and lots of versions of the rest of the characters (save Sinestra, Justin and Tom, but I probably only really care about Tom out of those). The only set I will get for sure at this point is Hogsmeade. While I would love to have a chamber of secrets, it all annoys me and because of that I'm considering passing on the rest. One way I might alter that is I might sell the 2018-20 sets and get this one instead, as I have the mirco for more display oriented needs. Whatever the case, my excite is gone from HP for now. Hopefully next year we have more interesting sets. All this is just my thoughts, I'm sure I don't reflect everyone's perspective. :)

I'd fall into the camp of not loving the current sets. Awesome idea, and if I were a kid or had kids it'd be a no-brainer. Just not what I'm looking for as an AFOL. I think you're probably right that minifigure scale would be too similar to what's out right now. Your diarama concept is pretty dope, it'd be down if that's what it is.

The buildable figures look better than I expected. Still not anything I'm interested in. I'm happy thst there is no golden figure, it means I can completely forget about these. I will commend TLG however as these are well done.

If it's mictoscale, Hogwarts probably isn't a bad reference point. Probably means we get a display worth peach's castle with micro figs and probably 2-4 Minifigures. I could see Mario and Peach easily enough. Lots of options if they want to add another or two. Would be a compromise, but I think as long as we get the Minifigures it can work.

The Batman face from the justice league accessories pack (apocalypse Batman) has stubble and the white band. However it's printed on a black head, so it might have a balaclava look to it.

That Punisher I think is a perfect balance for lego. They use the skull logo (yay!) but the band-aid's make it seem more comical and friendly. That figure will be a coveted one.

Thank you, that helps. I'll probably hold off on buying anything for now. I figured as much. I'm not too terribly bothered about the particular outfit, I actually like the comic version. I'm mostly wanting it for the hairpiece, I really love the two tone look it has. As long as we get a decent representation of the character I'm happy.

Do we suspect that we'll get Doctor Strange MoM sets? I missed out on both the Doctor Strange and Infinity War sets as I was in my dark ages when they were released. I've been looking at the Sanctum Sanctorum Showdown on BL, but it's pricy and I want it pretty much for Strange. I'd be fine waiting if there was a reasonable chance we'll get other sets down the road. Thoughts?

I'm fairly certain that Falcon Fan confirmed that there will be no BigFigs in the D2C.

I feel the same way, although I did have a thought. The description is really vague, but working with "icons" I could see the D2C being another microscale set. "Objects" could just mean that it's brickbuilt and not in playscale. If that were the case, I could see something like the Hogwarts Express crossing the countryside. I'd say that's not very likely all in all, but I would be more open to that type of option.

With the new D2C news, I can say I'm fine with this. I have no interest in strictly brickbuildt objects, so it'll be a weight off my wallet. I just hope none of it is Minifigure scale ans/or locations of any kind so it remains an easy pass.

All fair points. Sorry, I wasn't very clear about my hope. I hope that we get some unique variations, ones we haven't received before rather than remakes with small tweaks. That is still unlikely enough, but one can hope :D
