When (if) we finally do get a new hulk, do you guys think lego would make him using the 2021 Thanos Bigfig mold or the one they’ve been using since AOU?

comparing this to the 2016 60’s batcave…yikes. That one had all exclusive minifigures, and a detailed build that was accurate to its source. Also crazy that this set based on returns doesn’t even have the batskiboat from that movie lol. Seeing the new cowl version in the same set as the 89 cowl is TERRIBLE. They don’t look even slightly similar. Would it really have been so difficult for lego to make a new mold where it’s the 89 cowl just without the rubber cape? Rivendell got tons of new molds, this gets 1 and it’s not even made for this set lol.

This is hardly potato quality. Higher quality images will reveal closer details on the wall and close ups of the minifigures but with these images we already have a proper look at the build. Do you really think what you see justifies the price tag?

No shot. This doesn’t look like a 500 set at all. How the heck did they drop the ball on this?!? Why is this set just 2 walls with everything stuck to them?? Why on earth did they choose to make catwoman with the black panther ears?!? baffling choices. Simply because of the bat symbol opening they completely sacrificed having an actually good interior. I’d pay at most $200 for this set and not a penny more. The Batmobile is the only highlight. +1 Because imagine this exact set that’s already really bland, without the Batmobile for 500 and then asking someone to spend more just to put it in the set.

The superhero theme has been so disappointing this year. In terms of play-sets we got the lackluster guardians sets which omitted so much, a unknown cap marvel set, a dual bike, an overwhelming amount of mechs + construction figures, and (after nearly 2 years) a NWH set. The only ones (that we’ve seen) that I believe are good are the quinjet and hulk buster. I’m glad we’re getting the cmf at least this year but on the whole these sets do not seem exciting like they used to. Wish we could return to the hype of Final Battle set. Given how popular Spider-Man is (especially in terms of lego), its insane that they don’t produce a full wave on the spider verse. There’s more than enough material to make lots of sets and minifigs. Genuinely wonder if there’s something that prevents Lego from merchandising the Sony stuff. We know the mcu spider-man merchandising falls under the Disney umbrella so maybe lego doesn’t have an agreement with Sony.

I think the shield is gonna include an exclusive Cap. Whether it’s first avenger cap or WS cap, I’ll be bricklinking it as soon as it’s available. It’s kinda insulting that we still haven’t received a single set based off WS. I recognize that there isn’t exactly a lot of cool scenery or an iconic location, but they could still do a small one like the boat fight. Especially given its popularity even with kids. But as @Legocentrico said, I’d want a First avenger set(s). It’s a great movie with lots to pull from. Plus I want a FA Cap just as much as I want a WS cap. Does anyone remember getting the original 2012 Cap set and seeing the First Avenger Cap in the instruction manual? I was convinced that we’d be getting him after seeing that. Hopefully that dream will be fulfilled

Gotta be honest, didn’t like Vol. 3 that much. The ending was great, and I liked the serious emotional stuff just not the movie surrounding it. Still think that the first guardians movie is the best. That being said, this film is still better than pretty much all of the recent marvel content though that doesn’t say much. Regarding the sets… wow. As @THELEGOBATMAN said, they dropped the ball. But I will say that I do like the way the bowie set looks, even though it’s wildly inaccurate.

I doubt any of the upcoming sets (except for maybe the batcave) will have this cape/cowl. The playsets require Batman to sit in vehicles and honestly so does the batcave too. If any of them include it, it’ll be an additional piece. Which is unlikely, so there’s a better chance that this will remain exclusive here.

I was thinking the same thing. Which honestly from a technical perspective seems like the only way you could do something like this. I would think it would be impossible to have something attach securely on a tapered part like the wands. It’s a compromise, but I love the spell attachments so much that I am going to accept this. Not sure if this has been mentioned either, but I like the fact that the clock /gate can be flipped from broken to complete. Looks good.

If you’re referring to the one from r/dceuleaks, it’s a fake. Some of it is likely real, but it’s just pieced together information. Some of the cameos he mentioned are already debunked.

Honestly I think this is the likely case. I don’t think it would make sense for them to throw in 1 extra non-exclusive figure. Unless it’s the Batman from the Flash. Ok now you are getting my hopes up Also just to throw it out there, the Batcave is supposed to come out before the Batmobile & Batwing right? So imo I think the set will include a version of both vehicles. Either way though, this has got to be the most baffling choice I’ve ever seen lego make. Whether they leave the cave empty or not, it’s still gonna be weird.

As much as I want it to come out, the fact that we’re getting an 89 Batmobile in august is confirmation enough that the flash set is canceled. Lego won’t release the same set twice with just different figs.

No flash 😔. Yeah ngl my disappointment in all of these sets cannot be expressed fully. Why on earth is there going to be a Batmobile set, batwing set, and a batcave WITH a Batmobile and batwing? Plus a $450 batcave with just 7 minifigs? And as much as I wanted to get Nicholson’s joker, I didn’t wanna get him twice. And I definitely didn’t wanna get keatons 89 Batman twice. Lame. The only upside to all of this is if we get a Dark Knight theme next year imo.

@Falconfan1414 Have you heard similar reports of the sets cancellation? Just curious. It very well could’ve been, I’m not sure how Lego’s production process works but it also could’ve just been a test print that got out into the wild. Same bro same. I definitely think they canceled because of Miller. I can’t think of any other logical reason. I mean the set was already designed and at least had test printed. And I’m not sure how their contract with WB/DC works but they also might’ve purchased the play set rights to the film previously as well (if it’s not under some bigger DC film contact).

I’m crushed by this news. Flash is my favorite DC character and even though I do not support Ezra Miller at all, I was so excited to get a new flash fig. I also was excited to add the Keaton Batmobile next to the tumbler and Pattison Batmobile. This just sucks on every level. obviously if the set doesn’t release this year it won’t ever be released. Best case scenario at this point is that it gets rebranded as just an 89 Batmobile and released next year OR they could just add the Batmobile to the Batcave. Personally, I’d be even more crushed if the Batmobile ends up in the cave, cause I have no space and no plans to spend that kinda $. why lego. why

Oh dang Majors got dropped by his management and PR. When your own Public relations team who is tasked with making sure your name doesn’t get dragged through the mud, drops you… I think it’s safe to say he’ll get recast.

Other merchandise has already revealed the villain and all the other characters for quite some time now. Plus the set is supposed to come out in less than 2 weeks, I doubt they’d hold that off instead of getting a share in the marketing of the merch reveal.

I wonder if it has an exclusive face print beneath the helmet? Overall, I actually really like the fig.

Right now, it’s still supposed to be releasing on May 1st. But I too wonder if it’s been pushed back, since we don’t have any info besides flash and yet to be seen Keaton figure. I’d really like to have just a basic set description, but let’s hope it really does release in a few weeks.
