Yeah again big change for my ship and news pics ;) Here the ship in an complete view. The admiral has come to see how the work have advance ! He is happy the construction was fast and the fregate have finally 24 cannons. On this pics the new stern, that it's completely different what i have be done the first time. I prefer this ^^ And the new prow ... i have to work on a figurehead yet I can't do somes details like the keep body, i have found only one yellow cone . In my memory i had more ... :s I have to be patient to finalize the boat ^^

Yeah it will look better with lighter canons on the deck. But mu nephew will problably play with, so it's more funny for him with shooting cannons. I xill try to do somes MOC canons, but i think i have not enough parts. And the one you suggest appear the better. It will be a french ship... yes i'm a little bit chauvinistic like all french . I have completelty change the stern and the boat will have 24 cannons, so it's a little frigate like we seen them in the 1780's years. I have done a lower stern almost ti the deck level with less yellow bricks. It's look better. I have change a little bit the prow too.

Yes it's simply for the capstan. But you're right, perhaps it will be too in the middle of the ship. I will have enought bricks, i'm just waiting for somes orders ... ^^ I don't know if I will put wheels under canons. Perhaps the old small wheels whith a steel axle. I have a lot of theses parts ! lol I think to change a little bit the prow, and must thinking of the stern of the ship. But I have a little problem on MLCAD, I can only put the parts in horizontal or vertical position. EDIT : For not doing a double post This pic show how I see the capstan. Hi everyone I work on a new ship project. For the moment i'm thinking that on MLCAD. It will be a 22 gun fregate. A first general pic of the future model : I want to have a davit anchors on each side and an fonctionnal capstan. I have marked the future passage of the cable. The cross circle on the top of the pics will be the future place of the capstan. I have not create this on MLCAD but I have somes ideas for that I hope you will understand something of my poor english naval vocabulary

That's right, sails are not so bad, like the all set, the global quality it's enough good. But they are somes default we don't found on real lego set like bad fettling on somes pieces, color of pieces are flashy and had an plastic aspect brilliant. For example, other things we don't see on lego set is to put the minifigs hands. It's not funny at all and the plastic of the arms are braking. But on the very good point it's the facility to interlock pieces and the really strong connection after. For the sails I like the black line between the white and blue stripes. I find it pretty. But a lot of wire go away on the sail periphery, and the blason had less precisin. But the good point it's these sails keep an fabric aspect and i find we don't encount that on lego's sails. It's middle lego and fake lego. In fact 75% it's lego, 25% chinese brand. I have take a fake lego set to have different pieces in different colours like the guns, falchions, minifigs and faces. I don't care about it. I love construction game like lego, i'm not a pure lego fan boy and the sister's childrens we will play with, so I prefer we don't use my lego. The quality it's good, there are some pretty idea in somes own pieces. But on the details the quality is lower (particullary sails) than Lego and i will not buy other set now i have what i want :p My sails are made in following the forum method. I have use a fabric with a coarse aspect in a sand colour. Perhaps i will color them. I will thinking to that.

Lol, sure it's the simpliest method. But i'm living in Paris where i work and my lego are in my parent's house near Geneva. I have come over there few days ago, but don't know when i will can take a new pics

40c Hi guys, After "Bonne Port" i show you a little vessel called "Le Faucigny". I have use two armada flagship parts and make my own sails to look a little bit more realist. I'm out of white bricks, so i have can't do a lot of improvements. It will be for a future version. This first pic is very blur, we don't see a lot of things Second pic of 3/4 forward I have others pics where we have a better view of the ship but with the older sails. It lack here a lot of ropes and the Foc and Clinfoc sails. I have to make a figurehead, change the poop to. So a lot of details

Yes I have removed the first ugly tower and made a light house. I appear great. It will not have a lot of change now because I have used the most part of my bricks, especially in the Constellation Ship, but I like him and prefer keep this boat and have a smaller port :-D And it appear so great in at the dock :-D

It isn't a sabre island but something very similar. But on the other side, it is an armada sentry ;) I have to work on the details now like doors, vegetations and perhaps new ideas.
