Marvel Superheroes 2015 Rumors & Discussion
K-Nut replied to CorneliusMurdock's topic in LEGO Licensed
Not bothered by this at all. I'm very glad it wasn't Spider-Gwen, so I'll take this as an alternative. -
I'm away from my bricks right now, but I swear I found uses for both of mine. I just can't remember how.

Lego Jurassic World (Video Game Discussion)
K-Nut replied to Amazing Bricks's topic in LEGO Media and Gaming
- You can buy Red Bricks and do Dino Customizers at the Jurassic Park Visitor Centre on Isla Nublar. I think you can also do Din Customizing at the Genetics Lab in Jurassic World, but I don't know about Red Bricks. - I'm guessing these can also be traced by Raptors. I myself didn't see a difference between the two types of clouds.- 79 replies

Is this the first time Sarge has been referred to by his first name? It's nice to see that kind of a relationship brewing between Eric and Sarge.

No problem. There's quite a few good purist ideas in his feed.

With how much they each go for on BL, I'd say it's a fair trade off. At least you have some extra pieces now. -
Heroica RPG - Unlimited Quest: Fields of Glory

Althior repeats his action. -
Agreed. I love how natural Vindsval's interactions are, even with complex references to his obscure faith.

LEGO Marvel's Avengers Video Game Discussion
K-Nut replied to TheBrickPal's topic in LEGO Media and Gaming
That's interesting. It seems like the game is only Avengers films then, which is odd, but cool. I'm a bit worried they'll try too hard to stretch the story out into too many levels. I'm not entirely sure how they'e going to get 100+ characters in on the game too. I'm definitely intrigued- 647 replies

I also saw Jurassic World. Man was it terrifying! Finally we get a sequel that lives up to the original. I thought it was very well done, even if some parts of it seemed forced. It's certainly not as magical as the original film, but it's a great film nonetheless. 9.5/10

LEGO Marvel's Avengers Video Game Discussion
K-Nut replied to TheBrickPal's topic in LEGO Media and Gaming
Agreed. Since it's Avengers/MCU based, I'm guessing we'll just get characters that Marvel owns.- 647 replies

It's definitely a better piece for Cavill's incarnation. However, I think I still prefer the older mold. It'll look better with the final figure, though.

Doubtful. They're probably just shined up with photoshop due to it being a render. They should be the same figures from the AoU wave. -
Heroica RPG - Unlimited Quest: Fields of Glory
K-Nut replied to Sandy's topic in The Heroica Archive
"Put me and Purpearl at the front of the order, Karie. We can soak up some of the free hits." Before I forget, I'm leaving on a trip tomorrow and won't be back until at the earliest next Saturday. I should have internet access to post at least once a day, but there may be a few das next week where I'm unavailable. In that case, Kinto is in charge of Althior. -
Made a BL order for a few Jurassic World figures I still need.

I thought all of them had printing on the feet. The printing of the foot design is black, so it's a little hard to see on the Dark Blue. -
Yeah, Peppersalt on flickr has a good one with that skull here. I thought that the head would be difficult with this picture as a reference.

Heroica RPG - Unlimited Quest: Fields of Glory
K-Nut replied to Sandy's topic in The Heroica Archive
"Let me take the harpies." Althior says, bluntly, as he fires a wind spell from the back row. "Whoever targets the Sylph should go close to last so as not to target it's special skill," -
I feel like the sets are selling well to warrant a second wave. AFOLs would definitely be all over Jurassic Park sets, and I doubt kids would turn down more dino's. The thing was is that this wave seemed to be inspired by scenes from Jurassic World, so would a Jurassic Park wave be the same type of thing? The odd thing with Wu was that he came in the polybag fully assembled. I found it interesting.

I'm not entirely sure how to. Getting the right effect on his face is the hardest part. Maybe use this piece? It's not perfect, but it might be the best out there.

Marvel Superheroes 2015 Rumors & Discussion
K-Nut replied to CorneliusMurdock's topic in LEGO Licensed
This has happened to my Two MK XVIII Iron Mans, both Caps, Thor, two Hawkeyes, Quicksilver, Scarlet Witch, and Ultimate Ultron. Not to mention three GLs, two Sinestros, Martian Manhunter, Wonder Woman, Captain Cold, Cyborg, Hawkman, Black Manta, and Green Arrow from the 2015 DC wave. So no, you are not alone. I do not mess with my figures and only leave them out for display purposes. Oddly, none of my 2014 figures have cracked. -

namioik posted a link a few posts up. The top is the updated version, the bottom is the "wrong" version. I have the bottom, and honestly I doubt I'll go through the trouble to get the replacement parts. -
I think he meant the widows peak (Peter Venkman, Emmett Brown) hair. Anakins hair is a bit too shaggy for Lando. Even Mutts seems a bit long, but I like it. I haven't tried the widows peak hair yet, though I'm guessing it'll look good.

I finally got around to watching the second half of this film (yes, people other than Peter Jackson can make multi-part films ), Manon des Sources, within the past week. It's an excellent conclusion to the first part, even though that even wrapped up quite nicely. Not as good as the first part story wise, but still a nice film (even if some parts were just plain odd ). 8/10
