Kinda off-topic but I hope Homecoming 3 actually has no multiverse elements and Marvel Studios is just casting actors to play new iterations of their characters similar to J Jonah Jameson in Far From Home. Introducing the multiverse just removes any stakes from the MCU when dead characters can just be brought back from other realities.

Yeah I definitely think we’ll get it eventually just the price of this set (76191) is a bit too expensive and doesn’t match other helmet prices. The Star Wars helmets are 700 pieces plus and are all still US$60.

Is there anywhere to still see the pictures?

Yeah would look cool however on second thought I’m not sure it’s happening just yet. All the helmets across themes are US$60 and this is $10 more expensive. Also, there’s a Batman helmet coming soon that looks too similar to Black Panther so I’m not sure Lego would release it at the same time. Given that it’s an 18+ set though with 590 pieces, it could be a buildable Marvel prop like the Infinity/Iron Gauntlet or Mjolnir.

76191 is a Black Panther helmet set, calling it now. It’s an 18+ Avengers set with a similar price/piece count to the Iron Man helmet and lego_fulcrum posted an image of Black Panther on Instagram recently.

Bowser or Yoshi I reckon. I don’t think Lego is prepared to recolour a bunch of pieces in flesh to do a Mario model. Just look at pictures of the leaked Batman Cowl set. It’s completely black with no flesh coloured pieces for the chin.

The $150 set is the biggest mystery. Considering we got Avengers Tower and Helicarrier sets last year, I really don’t know what iconic Marvel playset could justify such a high price/piece count.

Does anyone have any predictions for the six Avengers sets this summer?

I’m not sure if there’s some licensing issue involved but I’m shocked that we haven’t gotten anything Fantastic Four related from Lego beyond that one Doctor Doom figure 8 years ago. At this stage, I wouldn’t be surprised if we have to wait until 2023 to get FF sets/figures based on the upcoming MCU movie.

Totally agree on the D2C being MCU based. Beyond that, I have no idea.

If the D2C is Asgard, do you think they will do it in micro scale?

I honestly think Castle may be selected as the official set from this second vote. The three most iconic Lego sets of all time are Black Seas Barracuda, Galaxy Explorer and the original yellow castle, two of which have basically received updated remakes in the form Barracuda Bay and Benny’s Spaceship. It seems somewhat plausible that Lego will remake the yellow castle using modern techniques for the 90th anniversary set.

I still think the most likely choice for the D2C is a UCS style Quinjet/Milano/Benatar. Just don’t know if it will be minifig scale or the same scale as the 1989 Batwing/Batmobile. For $299, I think the latter is definitely possible.
